Cold again today, nothing much going on outside since it will rain again.
Kel was caught in the rains yesterday. At leat his head is covered, in the gun range all day. Today, mercifully, he'd be in a classroom. Sure don't want him to be ill.

Dad has gone into depression. He can't or won't get out of bed by himself, and needs help getting from the wheel chair to the potty and back.

rainy and miserable here. I went to the store in my jammies, it's that kind of day.
making Sammy his chicken and egg noodles for the week. he eats better than me.

Prayers for all those in need. I'm still trying to figure out this computer. Looks like I'm going to have to call the Geek Squad for some help. They had installed a security so I finally found a site to chat with a rep. from Norton and asked if I could get a refund. The guy was so nice and he said he would refund 40% and leave the Norton running for the rest of the time. Asked name of security and since you can't have more than one running at a time he said he would refund my $50. Sure don't want to invest more money for Office software if I don't need it. Weather has cooled down a little, and I need to get out and get some clean up done.

DH seems to have problems after he eats, so keeps a bucket close by just in case. He sees our primary doctor on Thursday.

Sorry to hear about hubby not feeling well. Hope he is feeling better soon.

Well I just got back home from the Dr. I have another round of antibiotics and prednisone to take as well as a nebulizer to use 3 times a day. I got a shot in each cheek. One was a prednisone shot. The other was antibiotic and let me tell you my cheeks are sore! I have to back in one week for follow-up. I was tested for strep as well as the flu. Both were negative. I also got tested for TB. I go back Thursday to have that checked.
So this old and sore lady is taking a pain pill and will probably crash early.

I think your body is protesting cause you're not coming to the reunion!!😛

Well my poor mom had to have her pace maker changed and the doctor accidentally sniped the lead wire to the pacemaker. So now she has to stay the night just precauctionary measures. But she is so bummed she can't go back to work now for 6 weeks. She was just going to be out for 1 week. But they worry about that wire being pulled out. She can not lift her arm above her head or lift anything heavy for the same amount of time. Feel so bad for her she had a cancer surgery last year and lost a kidney. Seems like she always has something going on. She was crying and crying when I went to see her today. She was supposs to have an outpatient procedure.
Wonder why the same poor pepole always have the health issues? She has had her share thats for sure. Poor mom.

Ok, time to make changes in travel plans, LK! We'll scoot over and make room for you at the cabin! 😋

They will do it anyway. With or without me i imagine. They don't need my permission. They want to talk with me and get all the true facts ect.... i need to go and dig up paper work ect...and send it to them. They will talk to others, like her friends . They want to get all the facts straight and be as truthful .

I wish I could report that things are better here but alas, they aren't. Sue reacted to yet another anti depression medicine. I am afraid she lost some major progress with this last episode. I take her back to the doctor tomorrow so hopefully they will find one that works soon without any side effects. The other one was causing more depression and double vision. Thanks for all the prayers as they are very much needed.

Thanks Joyce. I need all the prayers and hugs I can get....so does Sue. I had no idea the depth of her problems. Not only is she dealing with mom's passing but apparently she has harbored a lot of anger at me because I married and left the area. Duh. She thinks she was robbed of her life because I abandoned our parents when I moved after marrying. Make no sense to me but the therapist says this isn't all that uncommon.

Years ago, my Sis told us that she hated when Mom had to work, and the 2nd shift. She thought that Moms were supposed to stay home and raise the kids. Well, Mom did stay home, she started working after all of us was in school. Funny how we were all raised the same, but some take thing differently!

I have to share a funny from yesterday.

While I was at the Dr.'s office getting a breathing treatment, the Dr's assistant came in to give me my TB test, and she had a student in training with her. The student ask the nurse how do you practice giving shots? The assistant turned to her and said she learned years ago while she was learning at a nursing home, she said she took old wieners and and injected them. We all knew what she meant, but we all looked at each other and started laughing so hard. I stopped my breathing treatment for a few seconds, and said, oh those poor old men! We all laughed for about 5 minutes! Then she said, I meant hot dog, not wieners!!! ^_^

Good Lord, I'm late today! I expect my cats to one day stage a protest with placards reading "Feed Me"! Couldn't sleep last night, so I took 3 Benadryls. Kel didn't even wake me up when he left for school.

Hello sisters. LK, 2 shots in the butt may be what you need to get rid of your chronic bronchitis. The doctor might have used a bigger needle. Poor you. A test for TB? Wow.. of course, he's taking all the precautions of making sure there's no underlying cause. That's a good doctor.

We've talked about this before, Sue's resentment towards your marriage, as I have a sister that was like that and laid the guilt trip on the rest of the sisters.
Sue chose to be single, she used your mother as an excuse as she's afraid of marriage! And with mother gone, she's latching on to you kinda 'paying you back'.
So, whatever plans you'd be making without her, her mind will just go into further chaos. Not a doctor here, but her psychosomatic disorders can be cured only after she release all resentment.
Imagine Marion, if you had stayed behind, there'd be no Abbi and CB..

I'm back home for a week. Hugs to all that can use them. Finally got to hold our new baby Becka and she is now home.
Got a call from DGS who was holding down the fort here and furnace quit, repair person said it has a cracked heat exchanger which means a new furnace. UGH. The next day our tenant called and the furnace there wouldn't stay lit. Fortunately it can be repaired and the bank will renew our line of credit loan which I had so proudly paid off several months ago.
Heading back downstate the end of next week, kids want to surprise hubby with a family dinner for his 75th. Then it's on to TN for a couple days with DGD then hubby will drop me off in Pigeon Forge for a couple days. I am going even though the 2nd is our anniversary. I guess we can celebrate on the way over.
Sweet Caroline and Jojo were so happy to finally get to see and hold Baby Becka. Caroline just says over and over, I love Baby Becka so much.

Welcome home, Karen. Sorry to read that you are returning to furnace issues. Mark my words, baby Becka will grow like a weed with all that attention she's getting!

It's in the 60s here, but supposed to warm up a little. At least things can get dry now.

Nothing much going on, perhaps take a nap later then cook a meatloaf for Kel. Got some fresh asparagus and beets to go with that. I'll be having most of the veges, unless it's potatoes. Never knew anyone that thinks potatoes and beans are the only vege in the vege group!!

Todd is the same way with veggies.

My sis is going to talk to the specialist at noon her time. I will know something in about an hour or so!

Yes men or lots of pepole thjnk green beans and potatoes are the only veggie. But I am in love with parsnips and carrots combination. Yummy. We do eat lots of frszh veggies trying to cut down on the carbs. My husband says the caveman diet. Silly.

I went flower shopping for my window boxes and some hanging plants. Michael is coming home today, so he can plant my rose bush.
