He did pretty good - however Grammy did the signs especially since he got green paint on one so I had to improvise!!!!

Ahhh Barb, you have no idea how I get such a thrill to be part of grandma and grandson spending quality time , such memories as he grows into a man he will have to hold on to and cherish.

He is grinning from ear to ear Betty. It doesn't really take much more than attention I swear with him... Now after rushing, I got a phone call from Mom and he is staying over tonight!!!! I guess we can't win. I have all the paints put away so we can use the table for dinner so I won't be working on mine until tomorrow!!!

Sean is 13 now and the "Define Good" is perfect for him. It is truly something he would say!!! His Dad is going to love it.!!!

He is sitting here just grinning ear to ear with all these comments. He is truly a joy to do this with - Sometimes he rushes and Grammy has to tell him to take it easy but the fun is in his eyes!!!!

He goes home today and it has been fun having him here. He brought one of those inflatable mattresses with him and it worked out perfectly. We had a great visit and he got to spend good time with us.

We woke up to 10 inches of light puffy snow this morning. Shouldn't be too difficult to clear away.

Dad will surely appreciate it..after all he is a snow'MAN!

Norm is taking Sean home as I type. And darn it - I forgot to take a picture of his wine glass candle. I must admit - I punched his holes as the needle hurt his fingers. It came out nice....

had to repaint th mittens, yikes mixed the wrong colors..ended up very dark purple!!
Reread instructions and mix the correct, definately needs 2nd coat.
Since this pic...scarf is marked and getting ready to paint the various colors.

Lol in meantime did laundry and did some decorating.
Still working on all.

I love it Judy. I'm not too happy with the edges on mine. I can't seem to get the shading right. I will try again today when it is quiet. That could be my problem....

I did my shading so many times. I finally said that's enough. It is what it is.

oh the background snowman yes i painted him but he was a store bought wood peice.

Barb & Linda, I was having the same problem with the shading but when it was all done, it looked fine.

Crawled out of bed long enough to work on my wine glass shade. I am also ill be working on my snowman today. In between naps that is...lol

If you take a bright color and paint thin line between scarf sections that will help

His hat needs sprucing up..Karen used deals from the wine glass project with adding glue before attaching them

Do you have a stencil for mini checkerboard? Or you could do as I did and add dots, pull from the dot to create heart

I got to go shopping today!!!! The temp went above 35* and it is to plunge again tomorrow so today was my only chance. I was able to get the right color brown (I think) and an acrylic pen that writes brown (to do those darn squiggles!!!) I don't know how many time I have painted the edges over and then re-scrunched with the white!!! At least four! Maybe not I can get this to look like something! I'll post a photo tomorrow after I try to make it look right. Maybe Sean had the right idea to leave it simple......
Looked around at Joann's for the things to make the birthday plaque. Think I will wait until another bout of warm weather and go to Michaels or Hobby Lobby. I'm in no rush for it.

I can send you the little cup hooks Barb, I got them from McMaster Carr and I have lots more than I will ever use..I couldn't find them in any stores small enough that were gold colored. The sequins I had to order on Ebay because the stores were out. I have extras of those too if you can't find them.

Thanks Karen. I may just take you up on this offer. But after the holidays if that is okay? I have a lot on my plate between now and then!!!

Finally finished mine!!!! I found a brown acrylic pen when I was out on Friday and that is what I used for the squiggles. NOW I'm happy with him!!!
