Passing through today. My sister's test came out okay.....does have an irritated stomach but the doctor advised what she should do to recover. Mostly stress issue over the past 3 years.

Today we are busy cooking for the family reunion on Sunday. Well I am cooking as Sue will be frying the turkeys Sunday morning. Hoping this wonderful weather continues until this is all over with...then it can rain!

Hi Sue,you have a point their.Why be married if their is nothing their between the two any more.It really does suck been a single parent,because when alex is visiting his dad.I am here at home alone.

i was hoping to make it another few years until they are older. but honestly i just can't ! . he is so unkind emotionaly.
When jessica died, he never hugged me. never anything emotionaly support me . i cried myself to sleep many nights all by myself.

If your serious. Don't stay together for the kids sake. I made that mistake with my first marriage. It is worse on the kids if your not happy. You will be surprised how much they already know about you not being happy.

I know what you are going through.I went through it with alexs dad about not showing any love toward me.He always put me down through the whole marriage.Alex was the most beautiful gift of all,that came from that marriage.Thank god i was still carrying him back then,when we split.He cheated on me.

GOOD NEWS, Michael finished that job, and will be working in town this week, next week he takes a vacation, his brother and wife are coming.
then he goes out of town again, but not that far away, he can come home a couple nites

Sue,thats in the past with me.He left me in 2004.I knew something was wrong by the way he was acting.He just keeps fighting me in court over my son every year.He has tried to take my son away from me since he was 3 months old.Thank the good Lord and my Lawyer,he still lives with me.His dad is just a monster that won't leave me and my son along.He needs to deal with his own family and leave me alone.I have 10 more years of hell to deal with his dad.

Sue all i can say is good luck,because either way its hard on the kids.

I'm back. Got my pc last night and I'm alive!!

Sis Kathy, when my ex and I had to be separated because of his work overseas, I saw him 107 days out of 365. We don't have kids, so that's manageable, I joined him only for his 30 days off where ever he was.
But the minute he quit overseas, we don't get along! Got used to living by myself and had to relearn why I fell in love with him. That didn't last long when I started working.

Sue, I'll share with you this.
Kel NEVER tells me voluntarily that he loves me and to make matters worse, don't have a romantic bone in his body.. etcetra.. etcetra.. etcetra. He thought he is as he listens to jazz.. reggae and blues! Duuuh... but come to actions. I will have to email him, and at one time write all kinds of hints on his Facebook page!! That was futile, as he still didn't get it!!
I guess some men are wired like that.
But I know, that unlike my ex, this man loves me. Now that I'm almost 60, I'll take that and if I want some romantic words or affirmations of love, I have to get those out of him by demanding!

On the other hand, what Tim didn't do, when you need comforting the most, that's too cold.
When my mother died, my ex just turned and snored after I got that phone call. The next morning, no hugs nor words of comfort. He didn't even protest when I chose to return to work instead of having a couple of days off.
Then I learnt, I'm not worth his time. Only when he needs something, then he laid on the sugar.

I think we've all been through exes... except for Barb, Marion, Pegi, Karen, Judy, Betty and maybe Carole.
You know Tim very well, and we can only offer you support and love.

Jaye my 2nd hubby was that way. No affection at all. Even when I said I love you he never said it back. Then he got mad as the last year we were together I stopped saying it to him.

Thats whats wrong with men this days.They don't respect women that bend over backwards for them.Instead they treat women like crap!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jaye, I too have been married before. But I am one of the lucky ones. I found Norm and we have been happily married now for 28 years. My ex-s were pieces of work - both of them. Yes Norm is number three for me. But we just go to show you that it is possible and that you just need to search for the right one....

A friend once told me years ago. " men marry women hoping they don't change, women marry men hoping to change them " ......... those words stuck in my head.
With my situation Tim has been very cruel emotionally. He is very passive aggressive . First seven yrs of our marriage he treated me like a incompetent nanny. He even asked his ex wife on child rearing. Nothing i did was right.
He is always argumentative . He doubts everything i think, i do , i believe in. i feel .
He always said " well hun no one else would put up with our personalities so we are just made together." .... i realized last spring ... i have a great personality ! he is the one who is so antisocial and a crappy personality . Cookie knows what i m talking about.

Kel was like that the first year. Each time I suggested something, he'd ask someone for opinion, regardless family or his 'customers'. And I'm always proven right.
I was very patient then when I had enough with his ??? and that raised eyebrow look. He stopped after I kept throwing these questions which he can only answer to each, with a "You".
Who is the older one in this relationship.
Who's been driving longer with no accidents
Who can cook better.
Who has been rescuing furbabies longer
and the one that gets him all the time...
Who has been managing money longer.

And YES to your great personality, Sue! Don't let anyone make you feel like a nonentity, especially the one that shares your bed.

Back home from DGS's wedding. T'was a wonderful day start to finish. Will and Charlotte have dated forever so we all have known her years. They got all their ducks in a row career wise, bought a house and now are married. My most talented daughter made their cakes.

I was very lucky getting the right guy in the first place. In my situation, I could have made a horrible mistake. Unhappy home life, needing to be loved, very young just 16. This wonderful man of mine still thinks I'm the sexiest thing ever. He wrapped his arms around me and has never let go even though at times I'm sure he was sorely tempted after some of my ornery fits.

Jaye,if its meant to be,i will found the right guy one of these years.

The funny thing is that my son tells me that he is the man of the house.So i just tell my little man that he is.

Seems like you have a severe sinus infection LK. Avoid mucus forming foods like dairy and sugar. I'd help loosen up the sinuses by fixing ginger tea. Got to use real ginger root, peeled, shaved and boiled. Let ginger boil in water.
Kept forgetting to drink water with ACV when I have sinus attacks, but the spicy ginger seems to help me.
I read somewhere to snort cayenne pepper! Guess that would shock the sinuses!
LK, rest is also a good cure.
