As of today, we are now on the downswing to Christmas, just what nobody wants to hear. Lol

Have,had few pains on my right side coming home, told myself not heart, indigestion, worked my arms too much today...best I not come down with something this week after me worrying about Rita,Suzanne and linda's ailments..

Will pick an evening and take measurements , make a list of threads, backing, batting. Likely will wait until Joann's has a sale that includes the big rolls of batting.

all clean-up etc is volunteer. And miles away in High River, so would cost gass $$.
I'm applying for jobs, and the employment counselor keeps in touch with me.

Stressed because the GM sent an email questionnaire re: quality of work... it's due tomorrow and no one knows whether we should respond and be honest.... had lunch with 3 co workers and 2 ex'es and all are very bitter on how we are treated.

Mary, I would be totally honest in that questionnaire. Let them know the conditions you all have to work under?

yes I agree with LindaKay, you won't get things worked if you don't answer honestly. It's either that or you have to continue working in the conditions you have been. They can't fire you all for telling it like it is.

On phone with mom, she is bedridden now, says percacet (?) is not helping the pain at all. She really should sell the city house, too many stairs, best she moves to the cottage.

I'm trying to be nice...she's complaining about Aunt Muriel and her daughter re $$$
guess Aunt Muriel got mad because mom was telling her what to do and yet here mom is supporting a 45 year old granson. drats/drats and more drats

Susan Joel's been looking for a job since Feb and he's in sales, so it's no better here. I just got lucky with Hobby Lobby, and without that job I wouldn't have a job, I've been applying for customer service jobs all over the place and can't even land one of those, and those are usually a dime a dozen and I have 20yrs experience!

Well I need to get off of this and cook some breakfast! Bacon is calling my name!

Crissy did you move to a state that has low employment?? Was there a reason to pick the state you now live in???

Now you've made me hungry, making a bag for a swap and need handles, will order pizza to pick up on my way back from the fabric shop

I get jobs for like... 4 months or less, on contract, then I'm unemployed again.....

Surely they must know something isn't as it should be from staff turnover..in this market finding jobs is beyond impossible so for people to leave their employ something is wrong.

"M" here's hoping you get to go home as planned today. Lorna wasn't sure that it would be possible seeing the pain you are enduring..your recovery likely will go forward much quicker having Gord and Lorna by your side..prayers and soft hugs coming your way.

Mary, proud of you for filling out that questionaire truthfully....it can't get fixed if they don't know.

Betty, I think we have all the tests back. Yesterdays was negative which is good. Doctor is out of town til next week....so no use giving her a talk too until he calls for appointment. But I will let her know it came back with some "flags". AND honestly, she can get on line and check the tests herself.....she might not understand them like I do....but if she does and questions...I will tell her the truth.
I am certain it all means...further testing...also.

Katie, sending hugs, maybe you are trying to accomplish too much in a short period of time..an hour or so a day in that heat/humidity is all you should be doing and that either early a.m. or late p.m.

I was so laughing, Roger would tell everyone 'if you are in the telephone book I imagine you are on her Christmas list' well, didn't a young man bring me the new telephone book, I'm sure it was Roger's way of saying I haven't changed and keep on doing the same.

Found a tote with 2 quilt tops cut ready to sew..not sure what pattern, you would think I'd be smart enough to put it with them but not..

got the eagle off the wall and ready to see if I can remember where I am at with it...

Roger used to say when he was dying not to let certain people in to see him 'said he could sense something not good'...likely same with Shannon..do her good to be with friends right now.

Betty, you have been busy, and it looks like you still have lots to do!
We just got back home from San Angelo, we had a really nice dinner at Outback Steakhouse, got back to the La Quinta, and went for a dip in the pool! it sure felt nice and relaxing after a hot drive. We crashed about 10:30, back up at 6:00 and on the road by 7:00.
Debbie, hoe you find an easy way to tell her or better yet, hope it can wait for the Dr. to explain things!

Thanks, nice to see you all. I will know more on Tuesday, LK, when I see Dr Erwin at the Neuromedical Center. DH keeps telling me that it has only been a couple weeks (July 8) and that I must be patient and not rush things.....you would think after 41 years of marriage he would know me better than that....GRIN

Heard push lawnmower going, wasn't sure who would be cutting my grass?? Was the small engine guy, I had called about 3 weeks ago to say after cutting grass but once after he serviced it, it wouldn't run..just brought it back, water in the glass. Garr..cost me $35 seeing as he took it to his place for repair..guess he was here a few days ago to get it. Oh well, rider does 90% of the yard and the push 10%' but is needed in those small corners Or else the gas weeder would have to be used, rather have so glad all my equipment is working.

Spoke with Bernice and she said they would pass on staying here for the 10 days I'm away as Cliff with his sciatica bothering him...however she said her SIL who bought their house got a call from his mom wanting to visit for a week, no place at their home so Bernice asked if I'd be willing to let here stay here...sure I would..she has 2 small dogs though, am hoping kitties won't mind..better than kitties being on their own with only an short daily visit from Kyle. Guess that situation is looked after.

Well my official work shift is over, going to go clean my car..make sure a few things are in it ready for Friday.

Just got an email from Jackie at Husqvqrna saying my machine will be sent UPS on Monday..had to give them Greg's address as I likely won't be home when it arrives.

Sorry to hear about the broken toes, seems to be a lot of that going on here! Not much they can do about it, other than tape them together. Hope she has a good pair of comfy sandals to wear.
We hardly ever enjoy the hotel room, as we were out shopping at Target and Hobby Lobby. Found some really nice stuff for a few swaps, and some fabric for Christmas placemats. A pretty green, with ornaments on it! green Christmas fabric can be hard to find!

Yes they are for Mary and Jean..known Jean likely won't be able to meet up with us but Mary will try so I can give her both sets and perhaps Jean's hubby one day can pick them up. Worse case senerio is they'll come back to Canada with me. Lol

Just got off the telephone with our Judy, she sends armwraps to all of you. She is on a high, loves her job. Says she'll be back with us soon, just has to get onto a routine both at work and home..always so much fun gabbing with her, had me in stitches

Can't believe I've been up since 5am and not done much..dihaving the 10 silk bags I had put somewhere..sat and put earrings,watch band and bracelet color coded to match each outfit I'm bringing with me..organize/organize, girls are sure to shake their heads..if nothing else it gave me something to do..I need a life don't I?

Overcast, calling for rain this afternoon, here is hoping, sure would be nice to see green grass again.

Have a wedding reception at 6:00pm, so don't want to go but Jeff/Greg/Suzanne say I must!! Drats

Always fun to get Judy's calls for sure LindaKay, a character she is! Glad things are going well for it, job was a long time finding but then I think she wasn't looking too hard for awhile. Lol now she has a goal and is focused.
