You are likely Dianne experiencing same weather as here..is weird for sue..if you, I are getting same likely Debbie is as well.
Will have to put a news channel on in Oklahoma..yawning away
Best/Worse/What did I learn today? Chat with friends..
I use the Voltaren gel 100mg. 3X daily. Actually I paid $113.00 for 3 tubes as that is the way my doctor wrote the script. Yes, Susan it is instantaneous relief!! Jean thanks for the link....will definitely use it.
Don't like hearing about all the nasty weather. Please do what is needed to be safe. We are having a few..very few at that...sprinkles but the sky does look like more will be coming.
My DIL called and invited the 2 of us to join her and the girls for pizza. Hubby (son) is out of town so it was another girls night out. Really enjoyed the evening but sure wish I could harness the energy of the youngest!
Think I will go to bed early tonight as I received a bunch of magazines in the mail today.
The heat here finally broke....all the way down to 81 at 9:15 p.m. We have two fans on.
Dianne, i don't have any oil of cloves, but went over to the pharmacy with DD in next town. Pharmicist was more concerned
about her getting these blisters down her throat than where they are in her mouth...and said to just use the salt water or a peroxide/water mix.
Did say swishing mouth out with maalox might be soothing. That was what we used when she had chemo mouth sores...mixed with benedryl.
Izzy is right in front of the fan, center floor under ceiling fan and floor fan.....has her ice water and brings her cubes out here...and has to put them
on my foot to lick them. Her skin is looking better though.
Dark and scary looking here....thunderstorms moving in.
Stay safe all.
Doesn't sound good about More i(?) Oklahoma , hit again and possibly another threat of a tornado...prayers going out to those poor folks.
Guess I shouldn't be complaining about our inclement weather.
Debbie, Shannon is so lucky to have a mom who has so much medical knowledge to be looking after her..just hope her mom looks after herself as well.
Betty, watched that on the weather channel...just heartbreaking. More lives lost in the area. Sent a note to Crissy, as one hit
Arkansas yesterday....haven't heard back yet but know she is swamped.
Betty, they are showing tornado near the St. Louis Arch also.
I complain about Shannon....I know too much, and I pray for my patience. Some days are harder than others.
Here I is Dianne.... as you know yesterday was tough! But it's Friday and only 1 more day (Monday) covering for Ms. High Maintenance on vacation.
YAY!
Don't like hearing about all the pain ya'll are in... but trying to memorize the volarin in case I need it. Maybe get for hubby.... he usually has an ache or pain.
Oh Betty your gardens are so gorgeous... and you DO have flowers! I have babied my seedlings from you and finally have a (meaning ONE) Lupine in the ground and no flowers yet but YOU Have a beautiful one! Maybe soon. We are starting to have afternoon showers. One of the seedlings I've been most successful with... will have to note the name.
Debbie UGH.... I agree with Dianne... you pack up Izzy and head off to a few nights without all those you care for all the time....
hope you all avoid this horrible weather I'm hearing about....
I love Betty when you talk about AC. It's a part of life all year here in LA as you can imagine.....
DSD1 is in town, she and her BF have invited us to a crawfish boil to meet "His" parents.... when she thought we couldn't go she whined to Hubs that it was the only and first time to get "The Parents to meet each other". My snarky side thinks to self ..... "oh so I'm a parent when ya need me to be". But I have to admit....I have to think it's a positive step.
Interesting that meds are OTC in Canada... Probably our Lobbyists for our Dr.s here in the states making us go get a prescription when it's not necessary....
How is everyone ?
HUGS
Mary
Talking to Crissy....she is fine!!!
Thank you Deb... Glad Crissy is okay...was always impressed with her tornado shelter and know how terrified she is of tornadoes....
You don't complain about The Child too much.... I could say that about DSD1 ....but they both have their challenges and it creates stress.....
we have to vent somewhere.... (HUGS) Deb...
Still awake, the thoughts of all that devastation overwhelms me..glad you were able to touch base with Crissy..say ' hi' for me.she was with me in Memphis when news came that Joplin where her dad lived had been hit. Know how terrified she is of tornado's..
Debbie last 2 years St Louis had been a stop on my road trip in august but due to tornado weather we had to change our plans..on our list for this year.
Mary, I'm thrilled that you have taken the seeds I gave you, planted them and mothering a few, hoping one of my kids make it in your neighborhood.
If nothing more you will enjoy a meal out..sounds as though this relationship is important to her.mary, she knows you are a parents and a good one. Let's hope stress at work starts to subside.
News says Missouri in state of emergency.
Just a quick checkin. Off to a hosta tour, but the radar is ominous. I got my wish yesterday and with two nice rains we got about 1 1/2 in. Looks like we're in for at least another inch today. Not complaining. Got my veggie garden in just in time.
I sowed ornamental cotton seeds the other day and with the rain yesterday they are already up! YEA!
Found my camera charger. Took some pix this morning but need to get my shower and be off, so I'll post later. Have a great Saturday!
Mary, I don't think it is the doctor's lobby that keeps our drug costs up. It is the pharmaceutical companies themselves. They keep lobbying for longer recovery costs for each new drug that comes out to "pay for the research and development" of the drug. Then they keep getting extensions to the time limit before generic drugs can be manufactured which keeps the cost up that much longer. Check out the profit margins these companies make and you will see what I mean.
We had our visitor again last night. Yes, the bear paid us a visit sometime during the night. Norm had taken the big feeder down and we felt bad for the birds so he got one of those cheap tube feeders and sure enough; the feeder is destroyed and the wrought iron pole is bent!!! Only thing bothering me about it this time is I didn't get to see the bear!!! Maybe it is just as well as he had to have been on the deck!!!
Confined to the house this weekend with this hot weather. When it gets really humid I can't breathe so it is in the house for me. I think I will finish up the throw top I've been working on.
I love all the pictures you have been showing with all the beautiful flowers. My lilacs were spectacular this year as well as my quince. The azalea still could use some help. My rhodies are going to be beautiful too. I'll try to get Norm to get some pictures. My hostas are huge as well.... I think all these shrubs and plants needed the long winter to rejuvenate themselves this time.
Off to do my breathing meds - hoping everyone has a wonderful weekend.
Oh and please say a little prayer for my Brandon - he takes his SATS today!!!!
Morning all,
Joyce, here is hoping that the rain stays clear till after your tour..you have such neat plants in your garden, can't wait to see photo's. Bill must wonder if he has a wife, lol, you are always on the run. Did you decide on the fall trip?
Sun is trying to come out but thunder storms are looming. Will try to get all I can done this morning as to not waste a day.
Noah is just about ready for work, Kyle picking him up, I've got appt for hair cut at 9:30' you get to the point you just can't stand the mop and it has to be cut short, no encouragement needed for hairdresser, Joanne is a chop-a-hollick, I'll likely come home with a pixie.
Then a quick stop at the stained glass shop, I bought the wrong red for Paul's lamp.
I've let my sewing projects go this past month, have to get back to finishing the wedding quilt so if it does rain you will know what I'm up to
What are you all up to this weekend?
Hmm few garage sales in the area..I should get dressed and go find them.
Your gardens sound so beautiful Barb, I have 2 Quincy's, they are young, only had a few flowers.you could be right, the long winter gave them time to re energize themselves..don't remember when all the greens were double their size, almost tropical.
I imagine the humidity plays havoc with you for sure..humidifyer on but everything still feels so wet. Want to wash the floors before I venture out but doubt they would even dry, might wait till later.
Think both you and I have planned our days to include some sewing..
Prayers for Brandon, important tests, is he nervous. Does he have a summer job Barb?
Good Morning and Happy Saturday!!
W e l l, LOL, started to cover the big P.I. got heebiejeebies over it and so left it be (for now)...decided to work elsewhere.
I am very excited, finally got the veggies in the ground! The plants we purchase already have flowers!! geesh, kinda takes the fun out of growing from seed.
So today, need to get onions and radish in. Julia came over yesterday and helped clear the new weeds from the bed and we planted and chatted.
oh, some good news...She finally was hired for a coordinators position, yippeee and yay for her. $1.00 more, added hours and medical benefits, so she is happy, also
she and David celebrated their 1 year anniversary...ack, he still did not ask the big question, sigh!
Lets see, Jacob is now finished with high school. He graduates tomorrow!! OH my gosh, this house has seen just about every senior in the last couple of days, lolol and they just laugh when i tell them i want photos with their gowns..Will do Jakes tomorrow morning.picture that is. He was so cute...came home after his final and said geese i don't know what to do with myself, never had nothing to go to, so, he Cleaned his room, little does he know, I did my last load of laundry for him too, it's been nicely weird, no sports extra clothes, laundry for me went from daily to 2 days a week, not bad...
Big bummer got a cancellation for the cottage, but then booked another...Betty to answer your question, We rent the house throughout summer. This year will be interesting since the lake will be more river than a lake, this is why we now have a beach, I wish there was a way to keep some of the beach, We rather like it.
Today is my friend Dianes Birthday, We are going out to dinner. It's a surprise. She can really use a surprise, she's been calling me to vent almost weekly. She has 3 boys and they are quite the handful...LOL if they were mine i would have beaten them silly for all the trouble they have caused her!! OMG, realization is kicking in, my rearing days are pretty much over, now what??
Thunder, sure hope your Boys get to feeling better...Have they figured out what has been causing Dave's dizzies? Sure hope it is not anything that can't be helped quickly.
Good luck to Brandon for SAT's!! Wow, Barbara your gardens sound like they are flurrinshing.
Betty, are you bald now? ROFLOL haha, our friend is the exact opposite, only cuts a minute amount. Sure hope those storms pass quickly...Betty, ive not done any sewing in so long, Ill be surprised if my machine still works, hehe...also thinking about taking a break and read, geesh haven't touched a book in ages.
Linda kay, sure hope your feeling better, yikes how awful your appt went, why bother having an assistant if they cant write a prescription??
Mary, so glad the week is over, yippeee witchy poo on vacation? OH my gosh sure can relate to y'alls heat!! Got a taste of it when we visited, holy smackers did I burn quick.
Yikes your still coughing? Maybe your allergic to something...Are the kids all done with school, any coming home for the summer?
Sunshine...enjoy the hosta show. wow you have been a busy bee, glad the gardens are getting a work out..
Bev, Waiving hi and also offering Armwraps, so very sorry for your son loosing everything in the wind burst and also loosing your trees, wow the cherry tree was spectacular.
Debbie, are you still being have? I hope so, lol, get caught up on some reading.
Dianne, hiya! lol, forgot what I was going to say...hope those storms don't do any damage for you!
Susan, you too.
ok i have to go now, lots to get done today.
Barb, to funny about the SAT...Kim is proctoring the SATs being given at their school today. 197 students from southern GA will be taking the test. Wishing Brandon luck with his test.
All this talk about quince and hostas make me envious! I have a small quince out front but it is struggling. Not really sure if it is on my property or the neighbors. I think after 8 years I will see what I can do to help the poor little bush as it does put out some blooms every now and then. I have managed to get a bed of Blue Mouse Ear hosta but the larger ones for some reason aren't growing as well as the tiny ones.
Glad to hear Crissy is okay......please everyone take care and have a fantastic weekend.
I'm safely in Chula Vista. Trip was fine but tiring and my van is leaking diesel so it's in the shop with the men I know all too well. Dang. I also have a really nasty headache so I'm going to go rest.
LK< report the idiot assistant and ask if the doctor can arrange a prescription. Most can call one in. I just got a refill on painkillers. Am refraining from overdosing. I think a nap is all I need.
hugs, katie
Afternoon everyone, still in pain, waiting for the Dr. to send me a referral to a specialist in San Antonio, hopefully Monday?
Katie, sorry to hear about the gas leak, hope it is an easy fix!
Oh Linda, I feel so bad for you. That is a horrific pain. Although I know it wouldn't cure the problem...would maalox or such coat and relieve
some of the discomfort going on?
Not the nicest of day..can't accomplish a whole lot seeing it rains, sun comes it for 10 minutes then rain again.
Got a little more modern cut, nice, now to see if I can style the same. Went into town, was gong to buy the flowers to do the topsy/turvy pots but plants didn't look the best. As I will be in Toronto tomorrow morning for Caleb's confirmation I likely will be back near Barrie around 3 or 4 and might get to my regular nurseries, need more color in the yard.
Hope Katie they can get your vehicle running without major expenditure like an o tank. How long will you be staying and what will fill your days? Hope you see someone re those headaches.
Judy, you sound as though you are in a whirlwind as per the usual. Imagine Jake graduating tomorrow..remember the first time visiting he wasnt even a teen and was busy out riding his bike and teasing his sisters.
Blue Mouse Ear. Hosta Marion, think I bought it and it will be large, have to transplant it somewhere else, got to learn that 24" plants go behind 6" plants. Lol
Kim will be really tired tonight.
LindaKay off to emerge, you shouldn't be suffering like that when there are meds to help.
Oops, someone here, be back in a bit
Betty, my Blue Mouse Ears only get about 6 to 8" tall. I didn't know there was a larger one.
Kim is exhausted!! Instead of being a proctor she ending up being an administrator of the test. She was telling me some of the problems they had to deal with today and I am in shock!! Some students didn't have a clue what cursive writing is/was......that is almost unbelievable but it is due to the use of computers. Apparently they don't teach penmanship any more. Thank goodness where the 2 GDs go, they do teach it and they both are doing cursive.
Well I came in for an ice tea break so it is back outside for a couple of more hours then in for the day.
Judy, make sure you take tissues...lots of tissues...with you to Graduation. Can't believe your boy is all grown up and done with school.
It really is a hard time...but going off to college is worse. Sigh.
Hot and muggy here, I have not sat down much since getting up this morning. Refrigerator problem, I think is fixed, but moved half the
contents to the basement. Shannon is napping....fans on....and going to chill a bit.
I'll go check what my hosta is, I might be wrong with the name..not good with plant names. Have carpet roses to plant and the pea tree that still is in its pot but every time I go to do it, it starts to rain.
Many of you will remember George who used to paint with us for years, his wife Grace just called, she was cleaning out his wood, painting supplies and thought I'd want them.,drats more things to find a place for
Greg dropped in, wanted to take Noah out for supper and a movie..when Noah got home he said he was too tired and would go tomorrow night. Greg explained that Mel was going to Abba concert in Midland so great opportunity to go out together and mellow..
After Greg left I told him he was wrong, Greg is trying to do father son things with him, as Noah says Greg is always too busy and here he tip urns him down..
Ooops company at the door
Grace just bought 3 boxes of cut wood pieces..must be 4 or 5 large birds, could be blue birds or cardinals..put them in back shed, said thanks for thinking of me while all the while wondering what I shall do with them..George used to come painting, ended up doing lovely pieces, called us his harem..we were the highlight of his week.
Grace said she had boxes of painting pattern books, I did not speak up and say I'll take them
Hmmm company here again
Back, hard to understand how people are so cruel, grace was telling me that George's family have completely disowned her..how sad! Been there and done that so understand..
George had a brother few years younger than he, as years progressed and had a few breakdowns he moved in with his mom, George lived a few houses down from her..for all the years I knew him he and Grace looked after both of them and wasn't always an easy task. The house was to go to grace and George with the promise that the would look after the brother..was about a year after George's mom died that grace sold their home and moved into the house a few doors down, primarily because it is all one floor. No sooner did she move in that the brother moved his entire family in saying its what George's mom would have wanted.
Finally got him an apartment in the same town for the brother, family now disowning her..
She did tell me though that she has been having supper with a gentleman who lost his wife a few years ago..she looked great.
Noah just got a call to babysit, usually every 2nd Saturday he sits for this same woman. I said I'd drive him and regardless if it's 2 or 3 in the morning he is to call me and I will pick him up..called Greg to make sure it's ok and he said yes..don't want to make a decision I shouldn't make!
good grief u ladies have been busy!
btw - something really nice about voltaran.....
I used the coupon u sent me to, Jean - it's valid for one year from date u print it..... so good until May 31, 2014.
I got a 150 g tube for $4.25 - that's 75% off..... AND the Safeway pharmacist gave me a sample tube of 20g for free........ so I could see if it worked lol
add to that the 50 g tube I got for $10 and I paid $14.25 for 220 g total - wow o wow.
I downloaded more than one coupon so I can get 75% off anytime lol
now, Bob will take the sample to work, I have the large tube for home, and the medium tube for whenever..... like camping.
Wonder if you can use the coupon with insurance?
Too cool Susan....glad the coupon worked for you....and that you can continue to use them for a year. Every penny helps....grin
I would print one out and try it....the worst that can happen is they say no. Here is the link again
http://www.helprx.info/discounts?search[name]=VOLTAREN&utm_campaign=newmedia&utm_medium=search&utm_source=google&utm_term=voltaren&adid={AdID}&matchtype=e&Network=Search&SiteTarget&gclid=COzC3cStwbcCFWIV7AodXAoAhA
Debbie, just watching Buffalo news, warning out for your area, be safe!
Susan, is indeed a great buy, will download Monday and am hoping I can get same bargain. When at hairdressers I met up with cousin and her hubby.they own the complex, he had been there cleaning debris from the roof of the complex and pulled muscles, told him to try voltaren.
See that jean Stapleton died yesterday at 90..used to watch All in the Family..easy watching compared to what is on tv now.
Ex DIL Lisa just called, says she has all the kids jersey'/ rep hockey for me..am to make them a quilt.
Been a busy day with calls and stopper buys
Betty, storm has pretty much passed by. Ended up with a tree limp down out front...not too big 6 to 8 ft.
Between the Fridge issue, laundry and Shannon...I am ready for bed. Need some dinner first.
Hot, humid and just about 30 min ago it finally started to rain.We are under a T&L/Wind Watch for the rest of the evening .I'm ready - have flashlights, water, charged laptop, leash for Diesel all in 1 spot easy to get to. I woke up cranky but I think I sweated all the crabbiness out of me. I sure hope so.
Marian do you have a Madame Wu hosta? I am thinking about getting a couple to go beside the steps down to the dock. My Tree Lilies will be about 4' tall this year. I am going to have to stake them tomorrow. Should have done it before this heavy rain. Duh!!
Susan good score!!! So glad you find the Voltaren helpful. Going to run off some coupons before I head into WM the next time. I go into Kingston every couple of months and stock up on supplies like OTCs, TP, paper towels,cat/dog food and treats. It is so much cheaper in Kingston than here in the village.
Mary I bet you are going to have a big sigh once this week is over. Whew, it has been a rough one for you!
Oh Judy biiiiig day tomorrow for you, Steve and Jake. Remember Debbie's advice, she's been there. Not only is your son graduating your baby is finished HS and ready to start another phase in his life journey. Glad you were able to get more renters to make up for the cancellation. Do they provide their own linens? I would assume so as you are not running up there to make beds and wash sheets and towels.
Betty you might gently have to point out to Noah that Greg is learning from this experience too. He's trying to 'fix' for lack of another word that line of communication between the 2 of them.
Hope Joyce had good weather for her excursion. It sounded like fun and if it isn't I bet Joyce will make it entertaining.
LK maybe you should take Betty's advice and get yourself to the ER. If they don't admit you at least they can Rx you a better pain relief. Here going to the ER helps cut down on the wait time to see a specialist - they have you there so often call in at least the resident from that specialty for an assessment. Be good to yourself!
Katie, stay safe!! Hope that headache goes away. I imagine leaking diesel fuel didn't help it 1 bit.
Need a shower and then decide on something to eat for dinner.
Dianne
Let's hope then it's finished in your region, worried about you with Paul gone.
You will sleep good tonight then.
Put the boxes of wood pieces in back shed, likely kindling for the fire as I know not what to do with them.
maybe load my car with everything I need for the morning incase it's pouring rain then might look for my plant catalogue and browse at what I would like to plant, few specialty items would be nice, good excuse to thin out garbage plants I'm over run with.
Running a bath then quiet evening..think this weather unsettles us, I'm agitated tonight and for no reason.
Jean Stapleton was a great lady.........
Will be watching the weather in your neck of the wood as well, in reality guess we should complain but must remain watchful none the less..
Do you bring n your solar lights incase power goes out? Give quite a bit of light and safer than candles.
Not sure I've heard of tree Lillie's, will have to check them ou..with all the work youve been doing are you almost done?
Just went out to pack car, wow it's humid, don't know how you southern gals deal with it..I'm soaking wet.
I did Dianne say that he was wrong in this instance..think he might have called his dad but then got the call to babysit..was going to call Greg what Noah's up to then thought it might be like checking up on him so didn't
Marion, big to do in Debbie's neck of the woods (Amherst) re testing today, a group of kids got denied entrance to write..said photo was not clear enough, simply a small shadow , clearly you could tell it was her as could you with other kids, apparently they knew a few days ago that some would be denied access and yet did not notify these kids. Doesn't seem fair
Betty the tree lilies are just day lilies on steroids.I had to guard them vigilantly the first 3 years I had them as the squirrels and chippies had their eye on them. I lost several to the little brats. No I am nowhere near being finished even though I am letting some gardens go back to lawn. The problem is I have not just been weeding and doing garden stuff. The outside maintenance of this house and yard is in a terrible state. It has been left undone for 2 whole summers so I get sidetracked thinking oh this little job will only take 15 min and an hour later I am still at it. When the local handyman came to get the pump into the lake running he took away and rescreened the sliding door from the downstairs walkout. That door had been like that for about 10 years. We rescreened it back then ourselves, put it up and within an hour Quill bolted right through it. Warren just never got around to redoing it. lol That was just Warren's way and over the years I learned if I wanted something fixed or done do it myself or hire someone. One great quality he has was if he started a project he finished it no matter what.
So sorry to read of Jean Stapleton's passing. She reached a great age.Loved her on All With the Family.
Dianne
Hello To All;
Betty good for you with Greg and Noah. you know I always blame myself for DS troubles... thinking I worked too much all these years and didn't take time with him.... is it possible to spend TOO much time with your children growing up? I sure did miss out on a lot or maybe I just don't remember. The tickseed correopsis is what seems to really love my yard. The mallow I can get to grow in the tiny pots but it doesn't seem to like when I put in ground. I have one Lupine that looks really good so far. The Indian painted daisies didn't make it ( partly Thanks to Belle and a bone) but I tried more seeds and those seem more successful this time of year than in February when I put the seeds in pots..... seeds are still a struggle for me....
Joyce Ornamental cotton sounds very interesting! Send pics if you can !
Yes Barb I suppose you are right... the Pharmaceutical companies have the lobbyists (sp?) protecting their interests. I dread getting more into this as Hubs and I get older... Prayers to Brandon on his SATs but I know he will do fine....
Judy - LOL Laundry..... yes my big laundry job is now next to nothing... Too funny and Kudos to Jake for cleaning his room. Wish DS was more like Jake... DS thinks all time should be free time and put everything off forever. :(. Yes the cough can be still an issue.... don't know what to do about that. I wrote "Summer " down... don't know what I meant to comment about that...
Marion... Love Disney themed plants and I have Mickey Mouse Elephant ears but I've never heard of Mouse Hostas.... so would love to know more although I've only had one hosta made it here in this Humid hot sunny area....
Was very sad that DS never was taught cursive. He is 21 and still prints.... "teachers" said he wouldn't need cursive.
Dianne... Praying you get good weather.... I'm so glad Diesel is there to help take care of you LOL..... Might be the time now to get your mind settled on getting the house in order......nothing like a good ole project :o)
We went to the crawfish boil at DSD1's boyfriends brothers house. It went well. I played checkers with the son (11?).. he beat me big time LOL..... DSD's bf's mother is from columbia South America and had this cute accent. She was very sweet. I want to friend her on FB but DSD is such a free spirit I suppose this relationship might not last so I'm hesitant. He is a nice guy though.
They just showed up to hang out in hot tub.... so better run for now.
Hugs
Mary
Mary sounds as though you had a good time even though you were hesitant in going..I'd wait a bit before befriending..well I am glad some of the seeds took. Wonder if anyone else I gave seed to at the gathering here last year planted them?
As you can see by the clock I've been up waiting on Noah. Surely the lady doesn't stay out this late? So I called Greg on house phone? That is odd it was busy, at this time of morning?? Called his cel # and he answered right away..said it was not unusual, often just doesn't come in till almost morning, Noah sleeping so she calls Greg to say he will sleep there..Greg will text Noah to see if he is awake if no response will go to check up on him. Hmmmm fealing uneasy again!
Noah just got in, husband just drove him home..sigh of relief!
Morning,
Sun is trying to come out but they are calling for off on rain, much like the past several days..
Lots of trees down, luckily I only had to pick a wheel barrel ful, good for a fire on night.
Debbie/LindaKay Andrew and Katie, here is hoping it's a better day for you health wise.
Noah is sound asleep, likely till noon but I'm up and at it, ready to heard to the city, Caleb, youngest of the four boys does his confirmation this morning. Also meeting up with Sharon just before I head to the church.
Likely be home late afternoon
Behave yourselves and those of you in path of storms be safe
I worked so much yesterday, about six loads laundry...which is in basement, along with the Fridge issue. Stayed up late with
Shannon watching movies on the Hallmark channel....but I laid down and totally passed out.
Storms all night long, according to my yard being soaked and limbs here and there. DH is on his way home (dang).
Mary, DS issues are NOT your fault. I was a stay at home Mom, I worked short jobs here and there, but I had no choice, and I am in the same boat with same battles as you. Honest to heavens, I blame his father for not "fathering". He just wanted to handle the fun...not the discipline, not the school
issues, just the "lets go to a hockey game, lets go to a soccer game" type fun....never saw his dad stand up and say "you are not allowed
to behave that way, you are grounded". He still can't handle confrontations with anyone. In many ways...had to be mom & dad... SO....go easy on yourself.
Hope everyone has a good day....stay safe!
Debbie
