So difficult for the family, but he is free of pain. What a brave fighter.
Coffee Break # 94
Perfect! Hug those grandkids a little tighter.....
An elderly man was stopped by the police around 2 a.m. and was asked where he was going at that time of night.
The man replied, "I'm on my way to a lecture about alcohol abuse and the effects it has on the human body, as well as smoking and staying out late."
The officer then asked, "Really? Who's giving that lecture at this time of night?"
The man replied, "That would be my wife."
Thanks everyone.
I needed to smile last night so I made hubby help me put together Charlie's wheel barrow. It worked, I giggled picturing him wheeling it around, throwing his eggs in it tomorrow morning!! LOL
Celeste, so sorry for your loss. Adam is happy now in a much better place, with no more pain. Prayers and hugs for you and Adams family.
Love the jokes Bill.
Karen
Can't wait to see the pics of the egg hunting with the wheelbarrow
Hugs and prayers to Celeste and Adam's big wonderful family. No doubt Adam hung around as long as he could.
Love the wheel barrow, grandma did good!!
Perfect for a hefty egg hunt, Celeste! Post pics!
Another good one, Bill!
It erased the rest of my post...hhmmm.
Anyways, that is the tote of 102 eggs (17 each Grandchild) going out this morning. The baskets which are from Brian & I are all made, apple pie is done, cookies are done, all but the meringue is done on the lemon meringue pie. Dips are done, veggie tray is done, I have watermelon, fresh pineapple, blackberries and strawberries that I will use to make up a platter too. Pictures will follow later, battery is all charged. :)
Your batteries or the cameras?
funny you make it a little harder by marking them who is who
LOL Deb! BOTH!!
They have their names because otherwise someone might get all the ones with the best candy and or money. :)
Each kid has a golden egg with a $5 in it, that for the ice cream on Sunday afternoon. ^_^
Have fun, you deserve it!!!
Thanks Ronnie! A day with happy grandchildren...it will be fun! :)
Can I sign up for the hunt? Sounds like a lot of fun......
I was wondering the same thing. Hmmm...if I start now I might get some leftovers.
The grandies around the corner are sick, so I haven't gotten any hugs from them yet. AAACCCKKK!!! Hopefully they are better by tomorrow.
Speaking of grandies, I can now announce that #12 is on the way in Texas. DDIL has been much sicker with this one, so they were reluctant to make the announcement too soon. We'll be heading to Texas in the fall. Woot, woot!!
Holey moley #12!!!! Congrats
Looks like fun Celeste, going to an Easter egg hunt today (IF the kids can get their toys cleaned up in time)
I wish my honey would give me $5 for ice cream on Sunday afternoon...
Congrats Jan that's a dozen blessings for sure!!!
great kids (& wheelbarrel). Sneaky grandmother.
The kids are such dolls.....some heart-breakers in that bunch!
too fun Celeste!!
Looks like a fun time.
We are pretty excited!! Cheaper by the dozen? Somehow I don't think so. Heehee.
Looks like the day was up to your amazing standards, Celeste. I love the look on Charlie's face with his great big egg! I believe I spied some seedlings just to right of Uncle Josh...? Hmmmm? You have been a VERY busy Easter Bunny! 🐰
Jan, I'm thrilled for you that DDIL is now able to share such exciting news! TWELVE!?!?!!! Amazing!
We are leaving here on Thursday, so we are buried with all the arrangements. We are leaving the house on the market for another couple months, so I have had to hire a gardener to keep the flowers going and the weeds under control. Tomorrow we'll go to Church in the morning, have dinner and then get back to business.
NIce Louise! Have a safe trip!!
Jan, I don't know how I missed it...12!!! Congrats!!!!
Great shots Celeste! The one with Charlie on the ground is so cute!
Very pretty Louise.
Looks like a blast Celeste!
Beautiful grandkids Celeste.
Congrats Jan!
Good luck Louise and have a safe trip.
HAPPY EASTER everyone.
Happy Easter to all my wonderful DG friends!!!
Happy Easter.....great news, Jan! Louise, I'll be thinking about you on the journey home....stay safe & well!
Happy Easter to all & garden blooms to come.
I love all the pics! Celeste, you don't make it overly hard to find the eggs, do you? Louise must find it hard to leave sunny Florida for our weather gamble.
Happy Easter.
Depends on their age Rosemary, the older they are the harder I make it. :)
