Nasty splinter, Bill...glad Cindy took a look at it!
Coffee Break # 94
Ouch that had to hurt! I got jabbed with a rose thorn, was not expecting it, forgot it was woven thru the clematis, had to reapply liquid skin 3- 4x a day since Saturday, finally today it doesn't hurt anymore...sheesh
Whoa Bill that's a long splinter, no wonder it hurt.
must have not posted the clip online yet.. but just said on the news an 11 pound baby was born
By Caesarian, I would hope!
I have re-read that post VV and I am at a loss, unless victor is posting d-mails about me:)
I will say I did not stop with the yard clean up over the weekend why my thumb continued to throb - reminded me of the time years ago when I was getting cuts on the bottom of my foot playing tennis over a couple weeks that caused some sharp pain - finally I inspected my shoe and found a piece of broken razor blade in the sole that could not be seen unless the shoe was bent. I had been re-glazing some windows and had stepped on a broken razor blade without noticing.
OW! You are definitely superhuman rock man!!! LOL
either that our rocks for brains.....................
:-)
Goodness....that must have hurt! Speaking of Victor, am hoping all is well with him & family......
Leah had her one year preemie follow up at the hospital yesterday. She did well in every area except gross motor skills. They thought she should be crawling and trying to pull herself up. They also thought it is because she doesn't spend a lot of belly time on the floor. So no more support toys. I think she will catch up quickly once she starts spending more time on the floor. Too bad her regular doctor didn't talk about that at all.
She'll be 1 next Friday :-)

Wow Deb a year already! It goes to fast.
I'm sure she will catch up fast then you will be chasing her around.
Oh, yeah, once they start crawling, it's all over....
That year flew by!! Whew!!
I'm glad that she is doing so well.
Thanks everyone, it's hard to remember how little she was, and amazing how well she's done.
my friends baby had the same trouble.. she caught up.. the bigger they get.. they need to be stronger.. might take her a while.. but I am sure she will get stronger soon enough
Great news, Deb.
Because you'd be amazed at the things people don't tell you in advance, getting an assessment for Leah from the Early Intervention team in your area might be useful. I had studied child development, but they still told me things I didn't know to do for my preemie kiddos. I'm still amazed when I remember how suddenly some skills developed, the motor skills especially.
They didn't recommend early intervention, maybe because she has done so well. She was at the best hospital in the area. Even now, they made another follow up appt for 6 months, but told Lindsey she could cancel it if she catches up. But thanks for the info!
Hi all. We're settling in in Conn, but both of us are not feeling well. That has made our progress a bit slow, but I wanted to check in and catch up on some threads.
Debi, I am amazed that Leah is almost a year old! Eek....time really is moving quickly! I have no doubt at all that she will be outrunning all of you sooner than you can imagine.
Hope Spring is treating you all well! I will be back soon!
