I guess that means we'd have to hide the eggs in the kids' colleges, maybe inside a textbook :)
Coffee Break # 94
LOL Rosemary! With all those kids in college all at once, I'd say they each found their golden eggs already! LOL
Thanks my good friends for the good wishes on our journey north. I don't care what the weather is, I'm ready to see my son's gorgeous magnolia tree in full bloom instead of in photos. 😃
This morning we came out to find that someone very sweet in our neighborhood here had placed painted coconut Easter eggs all around our for sale sign. Cute huh?
This photo stretched out so much that Hank looks like he weighs 400 pounds!
and its sideways.
Hey all. Just popping in to say hi and Happy Easter to all. Had a great time in Chicago with our newest addition, three month old Erianna. She is beautiful and such a good little baby. Will post pics.
However, we got a middle of the night call early Friday. My MIL had a major heart attack. She has pneumonia, is septic and on a vent. Though more stable today and with a lower white count (still 25), it's not good. We stopped at the Hosp on way home yesterday and my wife gave DNR.
A very hard decision, Victor, but the poor woman has been through it all...prayers for you & the family. Had a very nice time at the farm today......Kendall, my gkids' cousin, along with HayHay & Anni, Grant having some down time with his dad.... Kendall's brother, Henry with his dad next to them, Zack banned from the festivities, the blueberries still asleep.......both Henry & Kendall's dad & I lost crowns while eating grandma's pignolis......unbelievable! Dentist tomorrow :>(
Oh Dear, Marilynn!
Victor, sorry to hear about your MIL, but happy to hear you are so smitten with your new addition!
Jo, if you click on the photo, it is right side up....But very outta whack!
Victor, glad you had a great trip, but so sorry to hear about you MIL. Very tough decision for your dear wife. Praying
Louise, have a safe trip dear!!! Love the eggs around the sign.
Thank you all. Grandies are the best!!!
love the coco eggs!!..
oh Victor so sorry.. so hard to make that decision.. thoughts and prayers
ouch RD.. sorry to hear that :(
Victor so sorry to hear the news on your MIL. I know first hand how hard that decision is, my prayers for both you and your wife (((♥)))
Hank is still sideways for me Louise!
Ouch is right Marilyn, hope you aren't in any pain.
Nice but long day...brunch with the girlies then back to my house to be with Domenic!
great shot Ronnie
Thanks Allison!
So sorry Victor.. Jumper 2 worries because she is so far away & is the closest. Tough when making that type of decision.
Glad there is a new cutie in the family.
Great photo, Ronnie.
How nice Louise!
Love the pictures Robin
Welcome back Victor!! Sorry about your MIL, will keep her in my prayers.
Lovely shot of the girls Ronnie
We hit 52 here yesterday, got a little raking done. :)
Kids grow too fast! Can't believe Dominic is that big already! Another problem....Suey was supposed to be operated on tomorrow....it seems she's hurt her back....to the vet's today!
Prayers for Victor's MIL and family.
Dentists! Were there still cones on the pignolis? I was considering growing them. We have our second kid, DD1 planning to go through wisdom teeth removal this summer, not covered much by our insurance. We're saying ouch too. We are so grateful our son seems to be OK.
Glad too, to see so many happy grins from the young families. Good luck Suey!
great pictures celeste!
louise where is hank's red sox hat? he looks like a typical song bird with that thing on!
sorry to hear about your MIL victor.
Not good news right now about Suey....doc thinks it's lymphoma...will know more later....I'm just a wreck.
Sorry to hear about your mil, Victor
Yep Hank is still sideways...love the eggs!
Poor Suey :(
GS sent me this.
Not all little kids like the holiday icons.

Hugs and good thoughts for you Marilyn (((♥)))
same good thoughts here marilyn
Hugs and prayers from me too, Marilyn!
I have to sort of agree with you about the hat, Bill. He says the baseball caps don't have enough ventilation in the sun down here. He wears his Red Sox hats everywhere except on our sunny walks.
Don't know why the pic is sideways. I feel sure it is a user error! It opens straight up on my ipad ....that's a clue, huh? LOL
Thanks, friends...the initial prognosis is not good....glandular sarcoma...this dog has not had 1 sick day in her life. The vet feels with chemo she may have a year or two & that's the route I'm taking. Plus I'll ask the nutritionist at the feed store for anything to help her immune system. Praying to St. Francis, Suey's a fighter......
Hugs, RD!
Glad you are able to make that decision Marilyn, good luck!
Well it's official, we are no longer empty nesters...our oldest GD Joselyn has moved in with us. It's a long story I won't bore you all with, but feel it's in Jos' best interest to cut ties with her mom. We have a bit more room than my son does so figured she would be more comfortable here. Wish me luck I now have a teenager!
good luck with that!
Wow Ronnie. Big decision you just made. Hope there are good times ahead for Joselyn and for all.
I'm thinking about Suey, wishing the best for the sweet dog. I had a very sobering day at work. It was such a wonderful thing to have my dog be a friend tonight, as I know Suey is to you, Marilyn.
Good luck with the GD. If they had a hard time it is rough to change & make friends.
hope it works out Ronnie.. best wishes
Oh Ronnie I don't think you will have any problems with your GD, she adores you. :)
Robin, im so very sorry about Suey, will keep her in my prayers and hope for the best.

I hope so Celeste...feel more like a mother figure than Noni but that's okay too! Her mom is such a piece of crap I hope to make up for it. Harder on Lou, he loses a lot of privacy. She's a good kid!
Funny thing, Sophie said I want to live here too. Boy did my heart swell up!
Thank you, friends....Ronnie, I'm sure things will work out fine for you & Joslyn.....lots of love to go around, & that's what she needs.
Sounds like a great decision, Luvs!
Lots of prayers for Suey, Marilyn. You made a good decision. I would do the same. She's healthy otherwise and strong, and she has your love and devotion, so those are big things in her favor. Many Hugs to you both!
Sounds like a very lucky DGD, Ronnie. Hope it all works out just great for all concerned!
Thanks, Louise. I'm just so depressed......
I wish I could help Marilyn.
sorry Marilyn - enjoy being with her now.
Thanks Bill & Deb......
