Ugh. The VP, talking today about domestic abuse, said he was not talking about 'your garden variety slap across the face.' This guy is beyond belief with what comes out of his mouth. What a total embarrassment.

I picked up my granddaughters at the end of the drive today, but they both had shoes on! They should walk the half mile, but mud season is here, I'm afraid I'll lose one of them in the potholes!

I get annoyed at parents in my neighborhood who can't walk a block to the corner, but drive, and sit there. I walked , and had about as far as you could have to walk for this neighborhood.

She was flying so fast down her driveway I thought she was going to hit the bus!

My son would walk to the corner, and I would drive because as soon as he got on the bus, I left for work.

Grant, the 4 year old, had been playing with a marker & pad yesterday...red marker....when the girls got in the car they asked him what happened to his face. The little pip says, "Sunburn".

DREAMS - Jim says Sherrie you ate all the cookies. He did wake me up this moring, and I had to go to the Kitchen and look and they were still there.

I had to ask him: Did you accuse me of eating all the cookies? He said No. I said good they are still there. I did dream.

I had a very weird psychic dream several weeks ago....I saw a palomino miniature horse next to my bed....I knew at the time I was dreaming. That evening, on the local news, animals were seized from a farm because of neglect.....there was the mini palomino horse.......

My boss mentioned crosstraining me, months ago. I was thinking about it again , a lot, this week. Yesterday the sub-boss called me in and told me they are close to approving a job in that specific area (about the cross training) and of course I would be a likely candidate since I work closely related with it now. Coincidence, or...?

I am believing more in ''esp'' lately, due to a couple things like that.

I've had weird experiences before......when my DH & I were adopting our last airedale, the folks from the rescue brought over a large male named Riverdale.....when they left, we decided to take him, but I told my DH I wanted to rename him Robin. Well, a week later the rescue called & said the original family wanted to keep Riverdale, & since it was 2 weeks before Christmas, & they had kids, I said they could have him....Barbara, the rescue lady, then told me another dale would be coming in to rescue in a few days...his name was Robin. What was even odder was that his breeder had named him Robin.....the other 2 families he belonged to had named him Indy & Maddy....poor guy....4 homes in 17 months....no wonder he was a biter! I'm sure if he had been placed with other folks, he would have been put down.

Had a friend of my DD's tell me she thought the "Bible" was too violent. Hmmm, they beheaded John the Baptist, crucified Christ....you don't think those were violent times?? How are they supposed to portray those times???
