Senior moment? I was bringing Grant home from pre-K Wed. I asked him if he was practicing his letters & numbers.....sore topic for him.....He said he decided he wasn't going to kindergarten, he was going to be a gardener & they didn't need to know numbers & letters, only plants!

My 4 year old GS won a tee shirt yesterday.....he built a snow monster during the town's Fun in the Snow Day....the win was for "Best Use of Snow".....yep, a monster is just what it was!

I hate housework! However, I do my own cleaning so I should be svelte.....but I'm not....so much for that theory!

Have not heard a woman yet agree with it. I am shocked!

do they disagree that they are spending more time on screen and less at housework? do they post this vehemently on their facebook pages? (grin) I know I spend more time on screen. Hate house cleaning. I probably do spend only two hours a day on housework.

I want more standing desks for the computers. My butt feels it after ten hours of sitting on my two consecutive office work days.

Well if that study is right I'd weigh 98lbs...I am constantly cleaning

Friend of mine moved his his keyboard and computer up so he stands all day at work, he said that 1 of the reasons so many men in their 50's are having heart attacks is because they sit all day and then go and try to play tennis or racquetball, their hearts can't take that kind of extreme activity swing

One of the young men at work has a set up where he stands to do his work for part of the day.

I can't sit for any length of time.....I stood, & walked around when I taught...now, if I sit for 10 min., I am jumpy.....

the study is wrong - the nation as a whole is heavier and that is not even addressed - it was also funded by coke or a similar company that gets blamed for the national weight issue.

It's painfully simple - people eat too much and exercise too little. Period.

even if they switched to low fat or low sugar foods there is so much crap in processed foods what they think is healthier is actually making people fat
