hee hee...I have to boost my ego a little, it's my b-day week
Things that make you go "hmmmm" or Say what???!!!! Pt 5
You get a whole week?
Yep!
Lately I have been seeing a number of people I know for years who have not aged well - both men and women. Must be stress.
Probably and on top of that... what they use on their skin and what they eat
And time in sun and smoking. Two biggies.
And alcohol.
alcohol and smoking are big factors in making you look YEARS older
Jen, remember to avoid the mirror Wednesday around 3:30
I avoid the mirror any day before 8am, & after 8 pm....more & more I'm seeing my Grandma Eva there....she was a great gardener, but not a beauty queen!!
Ha ha ha!!! You almost made me spit my coffee out!
How can I see my mom --if I avoid the mirror?
alcohol, smoking, sun, and NO water.
you have to wonder Jen --if what got to the gal was the ex boyfriend.
my husband has a saying 'run hard and put up wet'
I know it is a rough morning for me when I stumble into the kitchen to get the breakfast started and he says "hey honey...nice hair..."
Chuckling here, no, outright belly laughs. DH and I are amazed at how young we look, but then maybe our eyesight is going and we are just delusional!!
my husband has a saying 'run hard and put up wet'
what the heck does that mean?
Was wondering myself.
I think it has to do with horses.
This is not really funny, but the headline cries out!

It does have to do with horses. After running and the horse is sweaty it should be cleaned up and allowed to to dry out, cuz it is stressful on their bodies. Like an athlete. Somebody correct me if I'm incorrect.
no you got it ... a lady that has been well used, experiences are showing and no clean up / fix up/ cover up to repair the damage.
Wise words, these.
Birthdays are good for your health. Studies have shown that people who have more birthdays live the longest.
LOL, is that so, Victor? LOL
ahhh now I get it(the horse thing)
Victor -- you are always good for a chuckle!
say hmmmmmmmm
what do you think about passing on the 1.5-3% cost to the consumer rather than the business owner for credit card purchases.
Doesn't sound very economy stimulating. Credit cards do help the business owner sell goods. Why pass the charges on to the consumer. Why even charge the business owner -- the credit card companies are making a killing in interest..without the business selling the goods that are purchased with the card---the credit card companies/banks would not have the business they do!
Have I got it backwards?
I had mentioned that over on the money thread...as a business owner I think it makes no sense, except for the cc companies to make even more of a killing
Victor's birthday joke actually makes a good point about how people can mistake a coincidental piece of data as a cause and effect.
Now , really, they could have written urologist.
Correct on rode hard put up wet, not that I would know, ahem...
A fall is a fall. Broken bones are broken bones. Lame is lame. My KEISTER which is flat & boney took the brunt. My arms saved me. Juggling going backwards and down, holding up the rack & buckets. 120 pounds worth.
Did I mention, I said "OH CRAP" going down.
Thanks all for the get well wishes. I am very very lucky. If I did not juggle that rack I would of hit my head on a solid steel beam and been serious hurt.
To top it off I had a Dream. Yes a dream about Victor last night. So comical. He had black hair & a puppy. We were trying to figure out when I stated DG. Maybe I should hit my head. Good Grief !
Funny about Victor having hair...I mean black hair!!
Sherrie I may have sad more than OH Crap it that had been me. Glad you are OK.
The black hair probably WAS the puppy!
Glad you are OK, Sherrie......I would find that creepy, too....
Sherrie's a stalker!
Sherrie- I've dreamt about random people before.
I dream about naked women I don't know.
I'm thinking about painting my kitchen that color.
Pretty
Those are very pretty. Selling on eBay?
I knew about some of these http://www.huffingtonpost.com/food-republic/6-ingredients-food_b_1400970.html#slide=852350
but this is the worst
Castoreum comes out of a beaver's behind -- it's extracted from their anal glands -- and is used to make artificial raspberry flavoring. Try not to think about that next time you order the diet raspberry tea. Found in: Artificially raspberry flavored products such as cheap ice cream, Jell-O, candy, fruit-flavored drinks, teas and yogurts.
Yuck! Those tea cups are beauties, Sherrie......that would look nice in a kitchen, Memory....
