Funny episode a bit ago. Was in my hot tub. Got out and checked my phone. Saw a text from Allison. Said, 'Hot tub??' I thought, 'How the he** did she know?!! Is she outside??' I look again and there is a photo above showing a long car with a really big back that did look like a redneck hot tub. Been cracking up since! It's all about timing...

Heard people say that about classical too. At best, with a really expensive cartridge, it will approach digital, but not equal it, in my opinion. Audio lunatics (like camera lunatics) are in another universe. They claim they can hear parts of the spectrum that NO ONE can - especially adults. But it becomes like a religion. That is why I never get into the camera discussion groups. People are nuts!

You need to hear the scratches in it, makes it more real. Digital makes it sound fake

I guess there is no more between channels nowadays with digital. Although my alarm radio can land between channels with the knob it has. 'Course it is as old as the hills.

My step mother in law's niece needed a blood transfusion her hemoglobin was 6 when it's supposed to be 11-15, she's had so many problems and looks sick all the time(I don't think she's 30 yet). Doctor told her to stop eating soy and eat some real meat

Had breakfast with a friend today. He had to have a cardiac procedure done over the holidays at Columbia Presbyterian. While there, a 90 yr old man came in and shared the room. Turns out he worked in the toy business. He told my friend one day, very long ago, a young man had an appointment to see him to pitch an idea. He was kind of disheveled and walked in carrying two bags. Toy guy asks him what he had. Man reaches in and takes out his creations. 'Puppets??!', the toy guy asks. 'No', the young man answers. 'They're called Muppets.'

Time 9:56pm. I walk into the Gym at work to shut down. Employee on treadmill. Conversation was as follows:
Me: excuse me Sir, the Gym closed at 9pm.
Dude: what?
Me: Gym closes at 9pm
Dude: it is not stated anywhere.
Me: (pointing to big ass blue sign on wall) See, Gym hours Monday through Friday 7am- 9pm.
Dude: that was not there yesterday or any other time I have been in here.
Me: Sir, the day the Gym opened 3 years ago that sign has been there.
Dude: Well, I am telling you it was not there. It is new.
Me: (shaking my head) Sir, you need to finish up now and leave.
Dude: Why can't you just let me finish my routine. Nobody's gonna know. I am doing nothing wrong.
Me: Gym closes at 9pm Sir. I told you that. You gotta play by the rules.
Dude: I am a rule breaker. Nobody will know I am here.
Me: I know you are here and I need to follow the rules.
Dude: I will give you a dollar.
Me: Don't make me angry. You need to leave.
Dude: can you at least let me shower so I don't have to smell driving home.
Me: absolutely not sir, it is 10pm. You need to gather your things and leave.
Dude: I am reporting you. You are being unreasonable
Me: By all means, please report me. I love the publicity.

(Angrily collects his stuff and leaves in a huff)
