Hey you all, I'm not free yet but getting closer. I won't be completely free from this for a few months longer I'm afraid.

Betty I think Thunder has a very good idea about the headaches there. I think you need a chiropractor to loosen you up. I really think you need a professional massage too. I used to get a massage then go directly to the chiropractor since I was so relaxed, it worked every time!

WOW I'm tired!

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

...also not drinking enough water.

Victoria Harbour, ON

ahhh don't drink ANY water..when I spent almost a year in the hospital for failed kidney's they would drop by my bedside gallons/gallons of water and would watch to make sure I'd drink them..when I try to drink water I virtually gag

I'm sure it's a combination of things and soon will go away..

I'm laughing, brought in a project, cut out 3 rows from a main piece and didn't match, nada, without think and being so used to adding borders I added a border..no wonder the project wouldn't work..so cut off remnants of 3 cut rows, added back original squares, looked at the clock and it's 12:30 to be back to what I had at 8:30 (shaking my head in shame)

soon to be lunch so doubtful I'll get at the project today!

Crissy, takes time, let's hope you will be free and in your home by the NewYear..
did bring in something mindless though, might work on it..lol

I'll hopefully have my decree by the end of the week, but the house will be an issue for awhile I'm afraid.

So when the divorce started I got a yeast infection, got rid of that and got a bladder infection, took antibiotics and got rid of that then a few weeks later got the yeast again, got rid of that and a few weeks later got another bladder infection. Took antibiotics again and got rid of it then a few weeks later got another yeast infection. Got rid of that again and about a month later got a UTI, I quit taking antibiotics for that just this past Monday and it's back, what is going on????? I guess I'll give another sample of pee to my doc tomorrow morning and he'll probably agree with me that there's something wrong. I was plagued with urinary problems from my birthdate til I was 7 years old and if I hadn't had exploratory surgery I would have died, I absolutely DREAD having more urinary problems now, and what really scares me is my mom's urinary problems, which led to her nerve problems, all started the day she turned 40, I turned 40 at the beginning of November.

First is the beautiful Table Runner.. It looks so pretty on the dining room table...

and next is the wind chimes.... so pretty, but got to run to the store for the monofiliment line..

ohh guess I pushed and tugged to get it in a flat box and broke them..I use fishing line..is there a piece of clear glass broken..if so can you measure it and I'll ship one off to you..table runner looks pretty on your table..love the santa! was my pleasure..

Crissy, yes something must be going on, that is a lot of yeast infection..omg it's so beyond aggravating..might be something new you've introduced into your diet OR the big OR is you are not resting enough and your body can't fight off infections. Make an appointment today..

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

I called the doc and the receptionist was going to suggest another round of antiobiotics, I said Lets let the people with the PhD's figure it out. And I forgot, I can't leave a sample because I'm still on my never ending period! ARGH!!!

OOOHHH Carolyn those are gorgeous you lucky lady!!

Victoria Harbour, ON

lol Crissy..

Are you enjoying your part time job..getting lot of ideas??

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Crissy, all those antibiotics can cause the yeast infection. Hope they can find the cause of the UTI soon!
Carolyn,. love those pressies from Betty, they are beautiful!

Betty, did you make the wind-chimes?

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

I love it but there is no time for shopping, it's super busy and I am beyond tired. I'm going to go shop over there on a day off.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Well, my package finally cleared customs station in Chicago, so I hope it is delivered soon!

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

Right, the yeast isn't my worry, the UTI is my worry. The fact that this all started with the yeast is also up for question, and why did 200mg once a day Cipro cause yeast and Keflex 500mg 3 times a day didn't?

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Call your Dr, and ask him, let him know what is going on.

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

I did this morning, I'm waiting to hear from him. I hate waiting! LOL

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

Those pressies from Betty are gorgeous, Carolyn!!

Crissy - sure hope you get feeling better SOON!!

Cindy.. sure hope you get as cured as a country ham real soon...

Betty.. no you don't need to send anything at all... There are two that have a corner off, but if I can get my hands on some copper foil.. I thought I would just solder them back together myself... I love it to and have it hanging out by my kitchen window already.. the setting sun hits it and tosses color into the kitchen.. sooo pretty.. I love each item you sent and rest assured I will be keeping them all for many years t o come. God Bless you..

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Glad you are home safely Debbie, that must be why it isn't as bright today...you aren't in Florida.

So can relate to memories you would rather forget....I think we all have those.

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

Good Morning everyone! Yes I have a UTI, the nurse called me at 5:15pm and said that the doc wanted another urine sample, this is #3, so I went in this morning and donated to the cause lol. Everytime I finish a round of antibiotics this bacteria comes back double strong, I don't get it, and it worries me, and with the divorce and stuff going on I really really don't need this.

Carolyn that sounds gorgeous!!!

And to my buddy, I will be getting that out today or tomorrow! I have to file another contempt, this is #4, so my lunch will be spent on that today. Lordy I wish this would pass, all of it, so I can get back to living a normal life again!

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

Glad you had a good trip Debbie! I want details!! LOL

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Glad to hear your back home Debbie. Sounds like for the most part you had a good time!

Crissy, hang in there, this will all be behind you soon.

Sending big armwraps Crissy, must be overwhelming then add all of the medical issues and wow, takes strength just to get on with the day!

Maybe meds aren't strong enough and doesn't get rid of it totally, your body needs mega strong

Glenview, IL

Hi!!

C R I S S Y, so glad to see you posting! Awe, hope you get to feeling better. OMG, pretty soon you'll be a free woman again, hope everything goes smoother, yeppers sending armwraps too.

Yay, Debbie, so glad your visit was good!! holy smolies, you took a ton a pictures, sure hope you'll share some!
Missed ya.

Awe, thank you all about my snowflake! Linda Kay it measures at 5.5 inches.

can you believe, home all morning, working away, now Julia wants to go Christmas shopping! I guess its a good time to start, ROFLOL, will have to cash in my change, and at least start...

so I will see you in a little while, hope your all enjoying the day.

Victoria Harbour, ON

Have fun shopping with Julia..best start now because in another week or so all the bargoooons will be gone and you'll be fighting the masses! Make a list, check it twice then mark down where most of what you want is where, will save you a lot of miles..

SIL Linda called this morning, really wants to go to Buffalo again, says too expensive here for what she wants..nope, am NOT going to schedule another trip in before Christmas regardless how much she begs lol

Linden, TN(Zone 7a)

I used to own a stained glass studio and taught stained glass crafting for a few years in Florida.. but when we re tired.. I put my glazing tools to rest... and now only do an occasion repair.. but now am out of lead came and copper foil.. ... but will get some more if someone has need of a repair down the road sometime.. I went down to see if there were any little scraps of copper foil left, but I guess i cleaned it out too thoroughly.. LOL.. wouldn't ya know..
This piece of glass was one of my very first, when I was just learning the craft.. and I just love it.. so it now hangs in my front room window.. I have several other pieces that I really would love to hang.. and now maybe Larry can help me with that.. but gots to ask him to.. probably several times... lol

Wow Carolyn, what a coincidence. I am a SG artisan and have worked at it professionally for over 30 year. I am basically retired now but do some consulting plus I still design windows for people. Betty worked with SG too. Don't miss the show circuit at all but do miss seeing all the people.

Crissy it is SO good to see you post. I think of you every day and hope that your &^%$ former DH is giving you some breathing space. Get healthy sweet lady, be good to yourself. You deserve it.

LOL Betty I know you must not be feeling up to par when you won't even consider a trip over the bridge.

Barb - it is Monday that Norm sees the surgeon, right? I see the ENT that day also. Here's hoping we both have a good report and solution is found to my dizziness. Other than I am naturally dizzy!

Another dentist apptment for me on Dec 11 and I am hoping that is the last until 2013.

There was a wake I should have gone to today but I just couldn't. Seven months today Santa Warren left me. I am some ticked off at him! So instead of going to the wake which I knew I couldn't handle I stopped by Darlene's house.Her dad passed away on Monday, in the car on his way to see a Cardio. Thankfully his DS was driving at the time. He would have been 80 today. His surpprise BD party will be the reception after the funeral. I was so glad I did just stop in - I don't usually do things like that as I do not like it when someone does that to me but it just felt right. Darlene and I had a good visit - lots of tears shed and lots of laughs too.

~~~~ to everyone. Diesel is here with his leash in his mouth so off we go for a walk. Mary are you joining us? You need a hat and mitts if you do come along. I for one would love the company. Hopefully we can track down the 22 wild turkey that were in my south yard today.
Dianne
Linden, TN(Zone 7a)
Wow, Dianne.. that is so cool.. We did a few shows, but mostly sold all we could handle from just word of mouth.. We did some windows for a church and that was challenging.. and took a lot lot lot of time.. but it was a great experience.. Sadly, after we moved to Tennessee, I heard that the church burned down.. and the thing is, I never did get many photos of those pieces... DARN !! And I don't even know what I did with the ones I took.. in fact I have no idea where my albums are anymore... someplace down in the inner sanctum of our basement.. which is filled to the brim.. LOL
We took up wood working when we moved to Tennessee with a sparse sprinkling of SG, until we ran out of glass.. The last of my glass chips, I did mosaic for cement tables and benches.. they sure look pretty.. and the money was not bad neither.. lol Our woodworking hobby turned into a full time job and we sold the fire out of our stuff on ebay.. we did that until my h ubby turned 80 and we ran out of lumber.. My hubbies health was rapidly declining and I was so afraid he would get hurt on one of the s aws.. so we shut er down... I still do an occasional sign from time to time.. but that' s about it.. My h usband passed away 2 years ago.. and I thought my life was over and that I would never love anotherman again.. but God had other plans and now I have Larry in my life and I love him more than words can ever express.. He is a real country boy and loves farming. something his ex wife would not allow him to do even as a hobby.. so now he can farm all he wantss.. it's his money, his toys.. his dream. and I love to see him happy.. And the wonderful fresh veggies are not bad neither.. lol
(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)
Sending you big ((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))) Dianne. It will get better with time!
Sorry to hear you lost your hubby too Carolyn! Love that stained glass in your room, it is beautiful!
Hey Judy, sounds like your going to be busy shopping, have fun!
Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)
My doc called and said he's putting me on some other antibiotics, 850mg twice a day. This bacteria is sensitive to antibiotics and should have been wiped out by the Cipro, if not definitely the Keflex for sure.
Ok, got that filed and my 3rd round of antibiotics is Augmentin 875mg twice a day. Iye yey yey
Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)
Look at all these stained glass workers here! And a woodworker too!!
I am so glad to be back even though it might be temporary, end of year is starting and you all know I have to take a hike until about February when that starts up. My mind is in a different place this year though.
Victoria Harbour, ON
Dianne, sending hugs again..these anniversaries, regardless of how long ago come with the same 'punch'. I'm sure Darlene appreciated the one on one visit! Great memories are always shared at these wakes/celebration of life events.
Carolyn, I've so many hobbies but do like to play with my stained glass..Jeff bought me a Taurus 3 for Mothers day a few years back..would never consider going on the circuit but I do enjoy doing it..love making lamps/windows hangings and bought a mold to pour large cement bench which I then add my stained glass leftover pieces..last window pieces I got a bit more modern lol don't laugh, old people can try and fit in with the modern styles..I'm laughing because I saw a few girls in the mall who wear those tight type jeans and baggy shirts with the ankle warmers..looks cool so last time I was in Buffalo guess who came home with the works..trying to figure out when to heck I'd wear them lol
maybe I should wear them for our Christmas gathering, add a little gel to my hair and voila, the new young old me..am sure the family would have me committed..
Going back for hobbies...love sewing and woodworking , decorative painting/trompe l'oeil as well, I have more tools/saws than most men on the street...soooo, with so many hobbies you don't get proficient or excell as one would if that was the only craft they did.
Some of those meds Crissy work fairly quickly, here is hoping by tomorrow you will have some relief.
Victoria Harbour, ON
Crissy, warms my heart to come to this thread and see you have been posting..
now if our Bev and Shirley did the same I could stop worrying!
(Barb) Manchester, NH(Zone 5a)
Good to see you post Crissy. Hope this new med will do the trick for you!!!
Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)
Betty Thank You for the thoughts! They do work fast, the problem is they've been covering up the problem and not getting rid of it, and it's continually getting worse. I don't want a kidney infection.
They're called Skinny Jeans and I decided one day about a month ago that I would wear some, ha!! they won't go above my knees! LOL!!
Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)
Thank you Barb and everyone!!! I need all the good thoughts I can get, this year has been a booger!
Victoria Harbour, ON
Haven't even tried what I bought on..maybe the outfit will be going back to Khols in the new year and maybe I'll just keep the underware lol
Some years you just want to say goodbye to..what I did learn is never ever say it can't get worse..shaking my head, nope, never say that!
Carolyn meant to say how thrilled I am that you are so happy..
