i checked out those sites rosemary - Mr. Hotchkiss can be very expensive and looks to make more mobiles than kinetic art of which, at least on line, there were only a few shown.

Stanwood Imports are similar to what can be found in Plow and Hearth at a third of the cost, although P&H would be the cheaper metal Chinese version verse the heavy gauge copper version at Standwood. Base is also of similar design. My neighbors have large, heavy dome like bases and different designs. Stanwood also is offering heavy discounts (50%) right now for anyone wanting copper kinetic art which is still 3x the cost.

Please keep praying, the tumor they had removed from my bil was stage 3 cancer. Now they have to find out what needs to be done. Praying that it was all removed and no residuals and no treatment be necessary

Great day in Manhattan today with my wife. Went with the church to St. Pat's for a private mass and then had the rest of the day to do whatever.

Discount that Bill mentions at Stanwood sounds enticing. Maybe still there after the holidays? I am also wanting a metal contemporary clock with a pendulum, so it's hard to focus. I tend to be sketching clock designs on napkins because the popular clock artist in all the craft stores seems like a lot of money to me.

Update on my bil: found out they were only able to remove 85% of the tumor, now to see another doctor or 2

This is beyond horrible and tragic. Not a fan at all of this shock radio crap. It's juvenile and almost always over the top and offensive. These guys should pay in some way.

But the nurse should have known the queen wouldnt go thru those means to contact her grand daughter.

Clearly the nurse had some other issues. Who would kill themselves over something that stupid?

The queen also doesn't place her calls directly. Her staff does & then has her on the line when they have the correct person.

I agree that there might have been other issues but something like that could give a final push.

That's what I think. The ridicule was just too much for her.
