Hello, everyone! Struggling along here in Fla, but had to check in on you guys. Jen, hope the other docs can help your BIL...prayers for him and your family. It is so tough to have this happen at any time, but so difficult during the holidays.

Jo, prayers for you too for a very successful surgery and recovery. Smart call between the holidays versus gardening in the Spring. I'm a bit overwhelmed here with the jungle out back and tendinitis in both arms. That went away when I was in the hyper state, but now that we are at the early end of the new treatment, it is quite the little challenge. BUT, on a very positive note, the new meds are working and lots of other things are much better. Patience, patience......

Thanks, everybody! It's nice to be missed. :). I wish I could capture the great job Hank did decorating the palm tree in our front yard. We have never arrived so late, and Christmas immediately descended upon us even before we've been able to settle in! Today we cleaned out quite a lot of our backyard shed and Hank put garden pots, lawn chairs, broken screens and some undefined metal "caps" out at our road for the taking. It's amazing how fast junk gets picked up! Today I hit WallyWorld's "dead plant table" for the second time. Man, did I score! For $.80 each I got a large coleus, several begonias, Dusty Millers, salvia, unusual colors of celosia and more. Then, I bought 3 gorgeous hibiscus plants for $2.00 each. Woohoo! I did really well.......and now to see how I can plant them with 2 non-functioning arms. :). Ahhh, the plight of us addicted gardeners! LOL

Its the bandages I am sure- I dont like confinement.
For now I will just read something to get my mind off of it.I have until the 19th until the bandages come off.

I wear wrist braces at night which I find annoying. I would think that bandages would be much worse. Try & think how much protection they are.

Justin had a CT scan last wed, and we go to see the Dr. for a follow up today....of course it's freezing rain & sleet!

The weather is so much harder to take in those circumstances.
