That you are..guess all the ladies are busy getting things organized for Thanksgiving..you I have have nothing but time on our hands today lol
Glad you found your gravy mix, Betty. Just have a minute, friends are coming and we're going to a tea room for lunch.
Betty, doesn't bother us to have Thanksgiving and Christmas so close together. That's all we've ever known! Probably would be nicer if they were further apart like yours, but we manage!
Yes, all we have ever known, and gives me a chance to stock the freezer for "left over" meals.
Ya'll.....please keep our Crissy in your prayers today. Tis Court day for her as was post phoned before. I hope she doesn't get mad me posting this.....but there is strength in numbers!!!
HI Joyce! Have missed you! How is BJ? Never see her here anymore.
Morning everyone! Betty, you need to go and have your meds checked, make sure they are doing what they are supposed to be doing!
So sorry to hear about your MIL, Sister passing!
We had a great early Thanksgiving with the boys here yesterday. Two spiral sliced hams, candied yams, cranberry sauce, green beans, dinner rolls, fresh veggies and pickle trays, apple, pecan and pumpkin pie! And a great visit with all of them!
Mary, and Judy, when your done cleaning, you can come to my place. ^_^
Dianne, so sorry to hear about Diesel digging up all those bulbs you just planted! Sure hope you get your meds today!
This is my tattoo, it is not finished yet, as it was just too painful to do in one sitting, but hopefully I will have it done by the end of the year.
Morning, well almost afternoon isn't it..
Sitting here quietly, pushing my back into my chairback and it seems to help..doing some hand sewing, lordy, takes forever to do the binding on placemats.
Waiting to hear from Jeff, he and I were going to do our monthly dinner, he knew I was ill last night so maybe he'll say we will do it another time, not good though, minute you start changing dates, postponing then you never seem to meet up.
Was funny last night, kept taking every opportunity to 'hint' that Greg and boys could leave but he settled in and wanted to watch reruns of the 'Arrow' season which be both like..was up at 4:30am, put binding on 6 placemats, did my hair, was at home depot for 7:00am, bought stain and wood for workshop projects and still got to work 1/2 hr. early.
Debbie, am sure Crissy will appreciate the extra prayers..hope you hear from her by days end
Betty, I think Greg was worried about you and that was his way of keeping an eye on you to make sure you were OK before he left.
Linda Kay, that is such a fine tattoo. It will be just lovely when finished. That is a particularly sensitive spot....good you chose to break it into sessions. Sounds like you and family had a grand feast together.
Hope everyone is having a happy day.
Maybe, just cancelled meeting up with Jeff, we'll try for Thursday night, maybe by then I'll be up to it!
Debbie, perhaps that is the reason..
LindaKay, loving the tatoo..I'm a coward, couldn't take the pain..likely I would have a tatoo if it were not for the pain lol the colors are soooo soft...would you say you've about 75% of it done? Did you pick the design or design it? so many questions..lol
That is really pretty LindaKay. I couldn't take the pain eith I'm afraid.
Hope things have gone well for Crissy.....
And Betty you really do NEED to slow down for a bit and recoup your energy . We do have a tendency to use it all up and then expect to keep going but it just doesn't work that way.....

Thanks everyone! My youngest son Andy did the work. I told him what I wanted, and he designed it. It is a little more than half done. Still need to finish the leaves, ans petals.
Darn - I just wrote a long post and lost it in cyber space.
I'm feeling much better. That's the long and short of it so I'll post more later.
hugs, katie
Betty, next you see your Doctor, have him check your iron levels. You may well be a bit anemic....years ago I was tired and achy all the time and seemed to end each day with a headache. My DR gave me a B12 shot and a script for B complex supplements....within just a few days the headaches were gone and by the end of the first month I was feeling human again....and while you're at it check to make sure none of your meds are in conflict with each other....and are all the right dosage for you now. Oh yeah, and make sure you don't have a sinus infection starting up.
Andy is very talented LK...nice handiwork.
Katie, glad you are feeling more back to normal....keep up all your good work.
Just got home, taking hot bath, getting into nightie and heading for bed..not likely I'll sleep but I will rest..
If memory serves me well, think I have high iron, maybe time to get rid of blood!
That being said, everyone and their brother/sister have had similar flu, takes weeks to get rid of it..I've been fighting it, maybe it's time to go with the flow and just rest...thanks for your concern though
Debbie, any news on Crissy?
Katie, glad you are feeling better..
LindaKay,mknow it hurts like the dickens while doing it, but does it hurt for any length of time after its done? Do you have to go to his shop or can it be done when he visits?
Barb, how is Norm doing??
Ooops, wanted to ask how your dad is doing LindaKay?
Betty, I can't say much on her...but she IS smiling and sounds great!!!
Yes, Betty you did have very high iron levels last test. BUT It might be time for a BP check and see whats going on. Are you taking your BP meds and such?
Tattoo's hurt during the time your getting them, and the area is quite tender for a few days after, but then it heals up in about a week, and all is well. Dad is doing OK, the sore on his toe is getting bigger, so my Sister is taking him back to the Dr. tomorrow for evaluation, and see what can be done. I got this tattoo at the tattoo convention, but he has done them here at the house too.
Sounds like good news for Crissy!
How exciting is that Debbie..let's hope she can now take things easier and enjoy life..sure do miss her posts..
Bet you are fretting LindaKay!

Morning all,
Mary I first thought the photo of your ears was because of just how enlarged they would be with the screaching of your Christmas partner getting her box??? lol
Well, it's "ea"rly in the morning here.

Sitting here quietly, rest of staff are at a funeral, me, swing binding on placemats. Just called Melanie and asked her to bring her 2 sets over..I can get them done this week for her..
Booked hotel room for Nov30th in Buffalo, will post ALL I need posted from USA side then will shop a bit for stocking stuffers and return mom's heated bed cover from a queen to a king and be home late afternoon Saturday providing no blizzard. Hate to think we have to put the 'snow' word into our travels again but that's the way it is..Asked Melanie if she would like to come with me..will check her schedule and get back to me by weekend's end!
So glad a lot of the weight is off Crissy..what a great Thanksgiving it will be having it behind her.
