Well Kathy, I can see you big grin from here. Way to go 'Bama.

No tree so far, to busy going places this weekend....horse show and craft show. Was really disappointed in the craft show...way to much jewelry and tote bags. Usually you can find some really nice unique gifts but not this year. Sad. Did have some fried pickles from one of my favorite vendors who used to come to the show in Gainesville. That made the day worthwhile.

wasn't gonna put up a tree, but now that grandson is living here again, it's gonna be a tree around the 15th, and the usual 2 week baking of cookies and candies.

Gotta do that Grandma.

yeppers sure do. if'n it wasn't fer him and his ma, we would spend xmas in a cabin in tennessee. maybe next year.

Storms have passed, all is fine here........lots of grapefruit to pick up ugh!! Hate that tree I want to cut it down but then will lose lots of shade

got a carrot cake in the oven, cuz i made a marble cake the other day and my grandson told me it was nasty, so i threw the whole thing in the trash.
made apple pie bourbon for gifts. it has to set at least 4 days. mix it with apple cider or sparkling water and yahoo! sure is good

Had testing done on the nerves in my hands yesterday. My left hand and arm are in pretty bad shape. I'm losing muscle in the thumb joint. But dang that test hurt!!!!! After he shocked my hands he then inserted a long fine needle in the back of my arm and neck, then shocked the nerves. Good thing I was laying down. Sure hope this surgery fixes my hand because I have a motorcycle that needs riding. But if it turns out that I don't heal well enough to use the clutch, I may have to have an electric clutch put on which is very pricey , but very simple to use.....just push a button and it shifts.

Oh my gosh!!! Went into Hobby Lobby 50% off on just about everything in the store. I could of spent mega $$$$ on all kinds of neat metal art for inside and out. Found a beautiful Teal color container, I am going to make my mom a candle. I have this one scent that she loves....Mountain Sage. When I was up there last she had burned the last candle I had made, she then made a comment about how she would love to have a BIG one, lol.

We had another HUGE rain storm last night and into this morning, but today is to be the end of it for awhile. I think we've had enough for awhile. Took the dogs for a walk Monday and the area where I let them run is under about 3 feet of water. Harlee started to make a run for it and I had to yell "NO, NO ,NO, WATER!!!!" She turned around and came back, smart dog!!! Amy she likes running around and sticking her nose in gopher holes, lol.

cindy, i had that test done in my elbow and neck. had surgery on my hand and there was no difference. hope it works on you. i called the office where the test was done the torture chamber

Same here Kathy. Had the surgery on both hands and it has reoccurred. Unless I am willing to change some of my crafting habits, I just have to live with it....and wear a brace every now and then. Found the marble grinder yet?

LOL torture chamber for sure!!!!! Kathy what do you mean by no difference??? The surgery didn't work??? I had surgery for carpel tunnel on my right hand about 11 years ago, it turned out great, but since I had the surgery to remove arthritis two years ago, it is starting to bother me again, my thumb goes a little numb. I hope I get GOOD PT this time, I don't think I had enough last time.

Well that sucks. I have been using this old heat massager and it seems to help alot. You should try it and one of those wax hand baths releaves a lot of pain.

My mom is 85 had both hands done and she has had no problems at all. And she bowls three times a week!!! grrrrr

Hang in there Cindy, you will get through this surgery with flying colors!

Boy I sure hope so, I want to ride my motorcycle so bad!!!!! Waiting on an email from doc for results of test yesterday. They have a web site where you can veiw your med records, make appts, have scrips refilled, really neat I love it!!!!

Well, Bob & I were given a 2.5 kg container of Cranberry sauce, and I didn't know what to do with it until I did a "search" on www.northpole.com
Now I have a Cranberry Pineapple Salad; Christmas Gelatin Salad; and (no cranberries for this) Candy Cane Fudge!! yummmmmmm!!!!!!!!!!!

started my christmas baking and candy making yesterday

Kim started hers today for school next week. She has one class that wants nothing but chocolate chip cookies, one wants cake pops and another has asked for cake pops. The last 2 all sound the same to me but NO, apparently there is a difference. Oh yes, one is bring breakfast as a "thank you" to her for her work this year. That is when she realizes her efforts are not in vain and are really appreciated.
