I don't think so Linda, she seems pretty swamped. I am on my way out the door to Rochester this morning. Haven't been in a couple weeks
and am lacking in supplies.

The child has a birthday Tuesday so I need to do a bit of shopping for that too. Such poor planning having three kids right before Christmas, what was I
thinking! LOL

Enjoy your day everyone....

Oh, that means you were pregnant all summer long! Kind of hard to have Birthday's and Christmas so close together! Sure would be nice if you could meet up with her, even for a cup of coffee?

Looks like I will have to bring in some plants before Monday, temps are supposed to drop to 37 Monday night! :( Sure hope they are wrong!

I would love to meet up with her, but she has spread herself so thin.....I don't want her doing any unnecessary running. She will be coming over again to mail boxes and not so frazzled and busy that time I hope. Will see what she is up too.

Personally, if I had my way, Miss Betty and a roll of duct tape and a chair would be the way to go. Tie her down to rest!!!

I am excited for the weather next couple days. 50 today.....and close to 70 they are now saying for Saturday and Sunday. Even mixed with a bit
of rain is better than the 30's we have had. And all my outside plants are LONG dead. I have one inside plant left (thank you cats) and start all over again in the spring.

OK need to skeeedaddel.

Hasn't been above 45* for about a week - down to low 20*s at night. We are supposed to get your warm weather this weekend. 60*+ on Saturday!!! I'll take it......

OH Barb, that would be so nice for the entire East coast! Did you get much snow? Looks like CT got hit, my ex-in laws got about 10 inches in their area of CT (Milford, Stratford).

Really...am on way out the door!

I got about an inch - just enough to cause fender benders on the highway. I don't think it would have been so bad if it weren't so cold and the stuff froze so quickly. I stayed in nice and warm and cozy. Just me and my sewing machine!!!! Norm said there were numerous small accidents of people sliding into each other. It is always like this with the first snow. People need to put away their summer heads and take the winter ones out from where they are!!!!

Morning all,

I'm being very, very, very childish today, will tell you about it in a sec.

Barb, cannot get more warm and toasty than sitting at a sewing machine, having someone on your mind that you are creating that something special for..

Look forward to a nice weekend weather wise..last Friday the ground near Barrie had a skim of snow, pines along the roadside looked so nice but by days end that was it.

It's that time of year, because of the new vehicle I will have to go and buy snowtires..dealership said my tires are all seasons and not needed so will have to see if I want to spend $500 this year or not..perhaps get them for next. Do have that little button that makes the car much like a 4 wheel drive, can never remember what it's called.

Debbie, enjoy shopping..hoping you spend those cards on you and not for everyone else. No we girls aren't that busy, just shopping and enjoying time together! Suzanne is smilling today, 1/2 because I'm sooo acting childish and beyond reason..lol

Shoulders were bad last night, took meds and was in bed by 6pm..imagine that..woke up at about 1:00 , restless, went to fluff up my pillow and I could feel the bedsprings near surface of mattress so either I bite the bullet and go buy a new matress or go buy a memory foam for it..know Khols has them, perhaps that is what I shall do

Betty, if you have springs you can feel, it will still have pressure points if you just put a cover over it. With your bad back, you need a new mattress. If it is just that one spot, maybe you can turn the mattress?

Debbie/Mary - We call it Palliative care too, however someone must have been thinking it was "cute" or they were very tired, and called it the "shut down unit"......... not appropriate, but there you have it.
If it's in a separate building, it's called a hospice.

they were not being kind, likely they called it that amongst theirselves and I just happened to be at desk when they answered telephone that way..didn't take me long to understand exactly what it meant!

LindaKay, think I'll opt for new mattress vs. snow tires I really don't need (so they say)!
