Getting more and more excited. Janice, just now hearing that you're coming along as well. Would you like to ride with Bertie and me? Not sure how it would work with you being at another motel, but if you want to, I will stop and pick you up. We can't leave until noon, as Bertie has a house to clean that morning, and I have a plasma donation appt at 10:00.

Betty, I'm so excited that you and Ann are leaving early! YAY! We'll probably be there about 5:00. At least that's the way it looks by mapquest. If we pick up Janice, it will be later, but probably not more than an hour.

I made some more mushrooms yesterday. I left the stuff out thinking I'd make another batch today, but then I remembered that I'd have to do the distressing on them tomorrow, and there will be no time for that! So guess I need to go clean up my mess.

I took cuttings from my brugs this morning. It was a really hard frost last night and I had covered both of them up last night. Didn't want to chance losing them while I'm gone, although it looks like the weather is going to warm up here. I looked at the weather for Frankenmuth while we'll be there and it looks cold, cold!!!

Betty, are you sure Susie isn't coming to Frankenmuth? (Deejay) I thought she said she was coming and it would take her a couple hours to get there on Sat. morn. And who is Karen? I'm confused....but that doesn't take much..... ^_^

So sorry to hear this stuff about our Babe. We'll take good care of her this weekend. Hope the Doc doesn't tell her she can't come! ACK! That would be awful!

1. This is Little Man... he's the biggest, so we'll probably have to start calling him BIG man... don't you think he looks like Missy?
2. This is snowball, even though she looks like dirty snow now, she's more gray as she gets older.
3. This is Smokey...he is so loving...he looks just like a siamese, so for all of the people that thought Neekie had siamese in her, they were probably right!
4. This is FF (Funnie Face/Fiona/Fifi) She's the littlest, and also one that I had to feed to keep alive. It will be hard to give any of them up!
5. And this is Bella...she's the second stray that got dropped off last year. In August....I think she looks like Riley!
Can I interest anyone in taking one of these cuties????

I just checked Frankenmuth weather forecast. Tomorrow it's supposed to get to 50. That's 3 degrees up from yesterday. They said only 47 then! So dress warm!!!

Eye candy? Where.....on my way. LOL Oh how I wish I could join this group but I don't dare right now. Besides, I am so, so involved getting my MIL suite finished I don't dare do anything that takes me away. Kim said from the looks of the frig it must include grocery shopping.

Joyce, LindaKay said she had problems with her teeth, infections etc. so as she is not coming neither will Alicia. Love the photo's of the kitties..

Have a blast ladies! Wish I could join up with everyone. There will be a day I am sure!! I just got back from another dentist appointment where an emergency in my mouth put the regular appointment scheduled aside. As Doc says " that D*** radiation!" A post in 1 of my 42 year old front crowns broke and the area has become very infected.. I thought I could taste something odd in my mouth but it wasn't until the intense pain started Mon. that I put 2 and 2 together. Today all the Doc could do was open up the area, drain it then pack it with medicated dressing. Next week I get to go back for a 2.5 hr+ root canal. Lucky me! Headed for a lay down.

Glad Judy will be able to join you ladies. Although I can't picture anything keeping her from coming ..... and I wouldn't want to be the person trying either.

Just got back from the bank, was doing the happy dance..our $ is a par and a few cents higher. cost me $5.44 for $800..bank charges, they must make their money! Lordy I can remember and not that long ago you would hand the teller $100 and get low $60.'s back.

Dianne, I cannot imagine sitting in a dentist chair for a few hours at a time. Radiation sure has played havoc with your teeth. Seems chemo and radiation are life saving methods but many health issues arise..guess they are minimal when all considered.

Weather here is much like you Dianne and Debbie, winds are up, 41F with wind factor feels like 34 brrrr

Joyce, I thank you for the offer of a ride and I considered it since I have done so much driving the past two weeks but I am thinking about taking the dog along with me so I need to drive. I have been gone so much that i hate to leave her again. The Best Western gave me a room that is pet friendly so I might as well take them up on it. She can stay in her crate or the car during my shopping and be with me at night.
Stacey wants me to pick up two ornaments at Bonner. Jonathan picked them himself out the catalog.

Katie - sorry to hear about your "bite" - hope it doesn't get infected. I had a dog once that was as gentle as could be, but when she was startled would nip. I think she was abused before we got her. Her name was Lady, and she lived up to it.

We've been worried about Loca, one of Dana's cats who stays here over the summer. I finally saw her this morning and she let me pet her and rub her tummy. Dana is in the midst of packing for their winter down here. I was glad to be able to let her know that I'd seen Loca and she looks good.

I took my friend Saul and his wife one of my new papayas and told them to be sure to plant the seeds.

The buds on the dragonfruit are getting bigger.

I slept most of the afternoon. I think I might have a kidney infection. Pain in the back and no energy. I still did some time on my exercise bike.

Church sale tomorrow, so I need to get books to the book sale this am as they're sorting prior to the sale. I have boxes of books................ yikes!
Late this am I'm going to have a Lung test (11:30) then it's back to the house to finish packing my car for tomorrow's sale - I rented 2 tables for the sale. Renting the tables costs, but it's for a good cause :-)

I've been drinking cranberry juicce and doing laundry. It's so exciting to have lots of water again!! Guess they got the "big pump" fixed or replaced.

My back is a little sore and I'm not very energetic but for the moment I'm not in pain.

Beautiful weather here. Wish I could get to some work other than washing bedding that Twink has peed on. I'm on the last of it now and can only hope we are spared again tonight. If not, at least I will have clean bedding to change to.

I keep working out on my bicycle and trust that things will continue to improve.

I'm just fine about lifting, ladies - do lifting, rest, do more, and I'm ok.

Back from the lung test - seems to be clear, and when she had me use a puffer and take another test my lungs seemed no different afterwards. Years back I'd removed some asbestos tiles from a huge kitchen/dining room, and just recently we removed a wall with mould and rotted wood..... so I think that, and stress, have a lot to do with my "issues" right now.

I got a call from the Cardiologist and have an app't for Nov 29 at 1:30
