Hi all - I'm back. I was at the church Board Meeting. Scared a few people when I was having chest pains. I told them my Dr said I didn't have any heart problems (as of a week ago) and one person asked if it were indigestion. It isn't........not in my jaw f'pete's sake........
Anyway, they had me lie down on the couch in the hall for 15 min. I'm home now (meeting's finished) and wondering if coffee is causing probs? I'm going to google effects of coffee....... I know it's not food related because I hadn't had anything to eat for more than 8 hours (from bedtime, to noon) and I had been drinking coffee.

Oh Suse ! Kota looks just like Belle x 3..... or maybe Belle x 2.... beautiful girl....Belle is 48 lbs....she is a happy girl too.... looks like you two are on a Riverboat ? Would love to know where you are....

Susan, do you think going over 8 hours with nothing to eat had anything to do with it? I mean seriously, the body is NOT mean to do that, except bed time.
AND...coffee on an empty stomach as such...is not good either!!! Keep some crackers with peanut butter....or something. You had a Hypoglycemic attack. Your blood sugar dropped out the bottom.....and that is ALL the symptoms you described.

Mary, Yes, that's the river boat in New Orleans ... It was so much fun! I said it was the Blues festival but I think it's called the Jaz festival? Kota was my babygirl before my Moses man.

I have had Those types of attacks before - with the hypoglycemia, but this Was Not this type of attack.
Those types of attacks were those where I Had To Eat something - grab 3 chocolate bars off the shelf at the store and eat them, then pay for the wrappers lol
However, the pains I've been having lately were pains in my jaw, legs, underarms, and chest. I was either having anxiety attacks, or too much caffeine. I do drink a fair bit of caffinated coffee.

I went to the Dr last Tues, and he said "no heart problems", didn't listen when I told him about the severe stress I've been under, and suggested a cardiologist visit, then his assistant called with an appointment for a Lung Test........... I had one last year and it was fine too.......

Last night I did my shopping, went to see Mae, lordy she is an amazing woman!!! She is more worried about Darlene than herself.

Just got home and Ann arrived, she changed her plans with her friend, will take the Megabus to Kingston in a few weeks and spend a few days with her, end result we will leave Friday morning at 8am.

As we were playing bingo got a call from Greg, wanted to know where I was at 6:00pm, wasn't home..huh?? then asked if I was asking for a theft..big compressor on back deck, air brad nailer/air stapler and box of supplies for both?? Asked if I noticed it was not longer there..heck I wasn't finished with it, it takes me and another to carry it upstairs and I do it on my own, soooo told him when I'm ready to add the other 8 pieces of wood he best come back and carry it upstairs..

Keep thinking I should have told Jeff we'd meet in a few weeks, lots going on this week/weekend and next..have to stay in town tonight, not likely they will get to the restaurant until 6 or 7 so shopping I must go to fill in a few hours..thoughts are going to xs cargo, might be something I cannot live without! lol

Got up at 5am and cut some 'simply crazy' templates, xmas tree template so I could pack them along in my boxes tomorrow night..

Betty - not going for any tests. They've told me before that I didn't have lung probs and the Dr wants to send me for lung tests again. I asked his assistant to check with him, and they're not getting back to me about it, so I gather they're not bothering now. A week ago she was going to ask him and get back to me.
I'm not going to sit in an emerg waiting room Again just to be told there's nothing wrong with me - I hate wasting mine and their time - I'm not a hypochondriac.........
I'm going to have a nice hot bath and see what that does. My shoulder blades are hurting.....
btw - other than the "scare" Bob gave me with the slipped stabilizers this weekend, I have NO attacks, so I'm thinking it's simply stress. Not "simple" stress, but simply....... no stress is "simple".......

I just got off the phone with a nurse at Health Link, and she gave me 3 names of Drs who she thinks are taking new patients. I found another one, too (a bit further away, but still do-able), and will be giving them calls.

here if you have a doctor in same area and try and find a new one they will not let you!

Last night I was told (at a board meeting I went to) that if a new Dr calls for your files, you may be charged $$ to get them. I don't care - new Dr will get all my history from me, and I "may" be able to get previous history from my Dr in Winnipeg (unless they shredded their copies when they faxed them to my current Dr.)

Alberta is more advanced than Ontario then..

OK ladies...what is the schedule for this weekend? I know we are meeting for breakfast on Saturday morning but when is everyone getting in and when are you all leaving?

I am so tired from being gone for two weeks and doing all that driving (1250 miles this last trip) but I really want to see you all. I am trying to figure out how I can come and still get some rest in-between. Poor dog will have to be boarded again and she just got home!

I have tons of sewing to do for the Bazaar and no time to do it. I was really pissed this Monday night. Everyone has known about this Bazaar since last January and everyone wanted to do it. Now I am getting stuff that is dug out of the basement to sell and no one signed up to help set-up, clean-up and work shifts. Some of my sewing house friends are going to a retreat and will leaving on Tuesday and be gone over the Bazaar.they would have been best workers and they did know the date ahead of time. Well, you can bet I wont do this again! Since I can barely walk these days I don't know who they think is going to carry
everything downstairs and set things up.

As for me Janice, I'll be arriving mid to late afternoon and will be staying in same hotel as I met you and Stacey in. Believe Joyce and Bertie will arrive around the same time. We have it for Friday/Saturday night. LindaKay said she booked a room for Friday night just down the road near the Outlet and will arrive Friday night but leaving Saturday for home. Deejay and Alicia will not be meeting up with us but as far as I know Karen will be.

Meant to add, YOU ARE OVERDOING IT Janice..that one heck of a lot of miles to have driven alone..(look who is talking) lol You will have to put the word out that this craft show cannot happen just with you putting it together and it needs many hands.

So far we have Betty, Janice, Judy, Karen and myself. Anyone else coming? Oh and Betty's friend Ann. Can't wait to see all of you!

Are we meeting at the Cracker Barrel in Flint? There is one in Bay City but that is farther north.

At this point I have a reservation at the Best Western at Birch Run, same as Linda Kay, for Friday night leaving on Sunday. The AMVI was booked solid for Saturday.

I just heard from my Dr's office - they've booked me for Friday 11:30 lung test, and are waiting for the cardiologist to call them for that test/appointment.

Good for you Susan, that's quick action, maybe they've heard you are looking for another doctor.

I'm so tired, could put my head back and snooze...was funny, Paul was here awhile ago, almost tripped in a card that the sewing machine is in, said 'we're making blankets now are we?' lol

Getting ready to leave for San Antonio, then catching the early flight in the morning. I w ill be in Michigan about noon tomorrow, then picking up Judy at 10:00pm Friday night, then driving straight to Frankenmuth, we should be there about midnight or so, don't think I will be there in time to meet you all for dinner unless you want a midnight meal! I will see you all at the cracker barrel at Birchrun Saturday morning at 8:00 am.
Betty, if you can let Janice know where the cracker barrel is so she can join us.

I just spoke with Judy. They will be releasing her tomorrow sometime as far as she knows....her BP still a little high but much better.

I've been trying to sleep for several hours. I just took some Benadryl and a pain killer. I also had to strip the bed as Twink peed HEAVILY in the middle of the bed, soaking everything through to the matress.

I had a down day anyway and this had me allmost in tears. I'm just so tired. Last night I started Max while he was asleep and he attacked my right hand. Opened two small wounds on my index finger and bruised the rest of the hand.

The good news is that two of our dragonfruit plants have multiple buds. We've had a few individual blooms before but this time there may be enough that some get fertilized and we get some fruit.

I had Tony put my exercise bike in front of my computer so I can watch poker an space out while peddling.

Max likes to sleep back-to-back with me. He's very friendly and well-behaved when awake but when he's alseep he reacts violently to being startled.

Must try to sleep.

talked to Judy last night, she is doing good hoping to go home today, we laughed at her comment to me how true it is (look what you started)
after my heart attack in June seems to be this chain reaction going on lol
it was nice to hear her voice she sounded very relaxed and ready for home

yep more commotions with Kenny, we went for his apt with the nurse who specializes in diabetes she ordered insulin i flipped and said wait where did this come into play??? they had given him pills called glipizide.

she looked at me, we said he is a truck driver she said she didnt know he drove a semi truck now there is a problem, if he takes insulin the state will pull his commercial licence to drive,

so now we have another apt to see a endocrinologist on this 3rd generation drug called byetta which is not insulin but will work similar to control his blood sugar, if he can use this then that's how he can get around this poor guy, you should of seen the look on his face.

we'll get through this too...

Just spoke with Judy, the nursing staff is getting her prescriptions ready, this she says is a sign that she will be going home today. Overworked, stressed reason for the high blood pressure..feels best she has felt in some time. Told the Dr. who was in to visit that she needed OUT because she has a train to catch tomorrow night..Steve confirmed this lol so, unless something major happens from today to tomorrow we who are meeting in Frankenmuth will get to give her hugs from you all.
