Here I go again. A good friend of the family just had a baby yesterday. But he has PPHN - Persistent Pulmonary Hypertension of the Newborn. This is a serious condition where the baby cannot breathe normally, has high blood pressure and heart rate. The blood is not getting filtered through the lungs. He has been transferred to another hospital. Please keep the little guy in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you.
Coffee Break # 84
Oh man, will be praying for the little guy and the family
Victor, how awful....will be praying....
So sorry to hear Victor, it's so hard when the little ones are sick. Prayers for him and all.
Sorry to hear that Victor, not liking that my prayer list keeps growing :(
Thankfully I have a bigger "thankful" list though.
Love licorice! Was my go to food when I quit smoking way back in my 20s...still a go to now!
I keep smelling fumes from either a weed wacker or lawnmower.Giving me a big headache.
Thank you, all. Had surgery. Just ended. Appeared to have gone well.
Oh my, how terrible, will pray for the little guy.
Just finished a second surgery.
Second one appears to have gone well. Seems to be breathing well. That is one tough little guy! Talk about time - I bounced his mom on my knee so many times!
Her sister texted me a pic of the little guy and said 'He's perfect', and I lost it. Just started crying. Pictured that happening to one of my kids. This should just not happen to little babies. Adam, and this guy, London - just not fair.
it's not fair.. and should NEVER happen... I feel so terrible hearing about all these sick little ones
Yes!
Been a tough day, week, months, year...Seems I have been in this awful competition with Celeste for most horrible news...
oh more good news.. my mom fell at the christmas tree shop.. down the stairs.. busted up her head & broke her elbow.. the apple doesn't fall far does it??
;)
Oh no!!!
Sorry to hear about your mom too, Allison. Hope she recovers quickly.
I feel so blessed that Leah has done so well, I just saw her and she's up to 10 lbs and looks like a plump healthy newborn. Or a month or two old, she will be 4 months in 6 days.
Great to hear, Deb! Would like to see a pic. Please say hi to the kids for me.
Funny how things like this 'ground' you so quickly. So much of what we deal with on a daily basis seems so insignificant.
it really does Victor.. makes work aggravation seem like it doesn't matter
Prayers going up for little London, Victor. Does make us think of what really is important.
Oh, my, Allison. Praying your mom heals well.
She is a beauty!!!
onewish1:
I hope it was her less-used arm (I'm left-handed, so I don't make assumptions), and I know all about putting plastic bags over the injured area, just to take a shower.
Best wishes to all...my goodness, life keeps giving us challenges !!!!
Yes - it seems that way recently.
Look how big she got!!! What a cutie!
Terrible about your mom Allison...they have stairs in the store? Hope she heals quickly
ooohh she is a doll.. I am so happy for her!!
it's her dominant hand of course .. there are stairs outside to get in Jen.. and it was the day it was pouring here and was wet & slippery .. her doctor had her thinking it was going to be a month.. I am like no.. been 6 weeks for me.. sure a break is worse.. no???
and she's older, so I'm thinking won't be that fast
Sorry to hear that Allison, elbow breaks im told are very painful!!
OMG she's cute Deb! Look at those cheeks!!

that is tough for you mom allison, hope she heals quickly - and good luck on the interview!
debi is it nice to see some good news - she is a doll!
Allison - you already got it - positive thinking. So sorry about your Mom! Good news for London. Leah is a real living dool.
Allison, how frightening.....prayers for you & your Mom! Good luck today! Victor, hope all is going to be well for London....look at Leah....she's just a little beauty!
Great pix of Leah debi.
SIL told this story about a woman weedwacking her borders. She accidentally whacked herself in the leg and bled out in her garden. Use caution out there folks.
That is scary. I saw some fool weed whacking barefoot in an area where there was some gravel. Not real smart.
some people live dangerously.
thanks all the way around.. off to go get ready!!
Victor know just how you feel on the "lost it" end, Lou cried like a baby when we heard the good news on Dominic, all that pent up worry is such a relief. Keeping you and London in my prayers. Hope mom in law is holding up OK too♥
Leah is beautiful Deb♥
Prayers all around for you today Allison, so sorry to hear that about your mom (((♥))) Best of luck with the interview.
I hate using the weed whacker.....I wear jeans & protective glasses, but it still scares me...Garret is coming today to saw up the fallen branches...that scares me, too!
