Any news on Barbara yet, Marilyn? Saying prayers also for her family. Hoping for the best.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Terrible. Good luck.

Incredibly, another setback for my MIL. After a very good week of therapy, the C diff is back. Probably triggered by antibiotics used to treat a UTI. This never ends...

Ewww is right.
Lou had a beetle in his ear a few years ago. It's funny now but wasn't then. It actually just flew in by accident. he could feel it crawling around, never went to deep and I finally got it out with tweezers. It was so creepy! I laugh about it now be he still doesn't.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

oooh I wouldn't either

Thomaston, CT

Oh, yeah, like I'm going to be able to sleep tonight!

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

Thanks, I have the heebie jeebies now. ICK!!!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Yeah, that really is the stuff on nightmares. My younger guy would die. He is so freaked out by bugs.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

I had a tiny little bug crawl in my ear once, filled the tub and I forced water into my ear, it came floating out, couldn't believe something that small caused so much pain

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

Nothing to mess with for sure.

Son and DIL in Texas just got home from a rafting trip through the Grand Canyon. Can hardly wait to hear all about it.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Cool!!!!

Baby Adam is not getting good reports although since being home he has done amazingly well! It's so weird how being home he has gotten stronger, can reach for things now and hold his own head up pretty good. He eats solids again and is babbling away in conversation with you like you taped his mouth shut for those 4 months he was in the hospital. He has continued to have chemo once a week while he was home but it seems that wasn't enough. :(
On the inside a war was brewing and now he'll have to fight again. He has new tumors, several that have grown along his head, some have grown on the gray matter of his brain and the largest is about the size of a pea. He was admitted Wed. back into the Barbra Bush wing of the hospital where they will start a stronger more aggressive treatment.
Please keep him in your prayers, im no fool folks, i've been reading everything I can on this cancer. Science, documentation and common sense tells me it's only a matter of time. Most kids die within 9 -17 months....but I still believe in miracles.
