Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

HURRAH!!! Barb. Don't think you could ask for better news.

Brockton, MA(Zone 6a)

Wow, that IS good news Barb. God Bless

I did a short photo blog about an RV that went swimming yesterday. All the news helicopters drew me there. Take a look ---> http://dailypics.ning.com/profiles/blogs/650124:BlogPost:1104219

It reminds me of an incident here a few years ago. The milk truck fell in the river. No pictures. kb

Ohhh found the blog so very interesting..hope the gentleman survived his attack and the dip in the pool..how terrifying for him. Will go back to the blog and read up

Tks Andy

Lyndonville, NY

Andy, that was all over the news up here yesterday....the Good Afternoon America crew thought it quite humerus.

Betty, the person driving escaped unharmed....and begged to be unnamed on the incident he was so embarrassed.

(Barb) Manchester, NH(Zone 5a)

I knew I saw that story but couldn't remember where. Thanks for the reminder Deb. GAA is where I saw it.... What amazes me is watching the cranes work to get it out!!!!

Victoria Harbour, ON

Thanks Debbie, thank goodness he was ok!!!

Reminds me of a story, friend of ours was at big chute marina, he was in construction, did a lot of work for the Marina..was going in to deliver the invoice, parked his suv, guess it wasn't totally in gear, rolled down the encline, into the lake..hit a boat...said he was so embarrassed and nobody recognized the suv so he just sat quietly on the bench down near where the suv went in watching all the fuss, yep tv station as well..only after big equipment was brought in and vehicle back up on the hill did he acknowledge it was his. Lol

Well, I've got bags packed, groceries in gor Cathy and the furries..treats for all..took down all the hanging plants, put them under the gazebo..easier for her to water..money for her to use at the pizza/hamburger place should she not want to cook (know that's what I would do..checked out the ring I bought her from a boutique in the Gaylord Opryland hotel last year, mental note to self so if I see earrings that match I'll get them for her as a thank you..

Waiting for load of laundry to dry then off to bed..tomorrow will be a long day!

Waving to all

Lyndonville, NY

Barb, I know, it is amazing no one was hurt. And thank heavens no one was in the pool swimming!

How are you feeling? Do you feel better from the gallbladder being gone?? I remember waking up from surgery hungry! lol

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 3b)

I see that the driver is ok - glad to see that!!

Barb - what WONDERFUL news!!!

All the success in the world for you, Katie!! So you have another "sleep" until you leave - you're going to do juuuu-ust fine! You have all our prayers to guide you and the surgeon!

Well, time to get ready for tomorrow's heading out to the campground! I leave work at Noon, unpack Bob's stuff from the truck, then repack it with camping gear! Then it's 2 1/2 hours to the campground, and time to set up our tent(s?). We usually have a "living" tent, and a "dining" tent too, in case of inclement weather. It's supposed to be hot and beautiful in the sun this whole weekend!

Lyndonville, NY

Betty, you didn't tell me you were going back to Opry Land. sniff sniff.

Victoria Harbour, ON

Oh Debbie but I did the other day..mentioned how I'll be missing the smile on your face as you watched the entertainment..will be seeing Carrie Underwood. Sniff sniff

Lenny, Suzanne's hubby, Judy and Steve met him just called, can't figure out why we are taking the route we are taking?? Wanted to give me the more direct route. DAH. DOUBLE DAH. He's never travelled with me before, so laughing, just ask Crissy and Debbie! Listened but doubtful I will take his suggestions, other than one, bypass Cleveland that has highway work being done.

Hope you have nice camping weather Susan, will be watching breakfast television to see what your weather will be like.

Hmmm still up, forgot to bag the seeds I so diligently worked on for Joanna, BJ, Joyce, Bertie and Mary, the rest I'll mail from here to whoever wanted some..so have all the info cards done, seeds bagged and I can't think of anything else..

Katie, Prayers go with you on your trip for both travel and operation.

Nobody will miss me as the iPad will let me chat.

Going to try this sleep thing

Lyndonville, NY

Packing...pick me up at the bridge. OH HOW I WISH!!!!

Pictures for me Betty!!!

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

Sorry, sorry, sorry....I should have been here sooner!

The pond tour was good, probably about 50 people. Much better than last year since I didn't have a broken leg!

Betty, I'm so excited to see you and Suzanne.....you're still welcome to come here on Friday night if it's not too far for you!

You'll be able to see the six new kitties who now have their eyes open. Ohhhh they are so sweet!

This is the picture the Water Society photographer took on Saturday. It will be on the back of the annual calendar.

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Betty, when do you plan to be in Pensacola? If it is over a weekend and no problems with my Mom, Kim and I might consider driving over maybe for a dinner at McGuires. Not sure of the spelling need to check that.

Victoria Harbour, ON

Thanks Dianne..

Now Joyce, you should have asked me earlier this morning for a rock, hmmm maybe there is one in the parking lot lol

We will be in New Orleans (all going to plan) Tuesday night/Wednesday night and leaving sometime early afternoon on Thursday..keep an eye on the thread and I'll post my goings on and route, who knows where I could end up..

mulege, Mexico

It is hot as blue blazes here. Tony and I are gradually packing the van and going over my needless reminders to him. Except he hadn't noticed that there are some almost-ripe papayas.

Not enough going on so we have had an ant invasion, especially in the microwave. I also have two left foot Crocs, the rights are missing.

No big deals.

Safe travels, everyone.

hugs, katie

Victoria Harbour, ON

I'm sure it's quite a chore to make sure you've everything, and, everything looked after seeing you are leaving for an unknown amount of time. Does Tony have a telephone that you will be able to call and check up on things???

how on earth could you have two croc's same foot, bet the furries had something to do with it.

They are sooo comfortable.

Leaving mine at home..drats, when all the DG girls were at the house I was all dressed and into town and not one told me I was wearing hot lime green crocks and they didn't match my outfit lol

Glenview, IL

Waiving hi...Wishing all the Travelers a safe and wonderful times.

Morning all, lol

Long trip, those darn Canadians don't know how to stay home, border crossing 1 1/2 hrs. Temp registered 99' Suzanne thought it a good idea to shut a/c because of sitting and idling...

near Erie major highway work so loss about another 1 1/2 so put us quite a bit later than expected.. Then stopped for gas then eats, kikely 1/2 hr..listened to friday night grand ole opry on radio, we sang to allthe tunes..wasnt a bad ride all and all..shared equal driving..now safely tucked in just south if Columbus Ohio.

Joyce will post approx time we leave here..about 100 miles from you..think we have to take a sidecut across country to get to main route ie I 75

Waving to all
