Coffee Break # 82
Take care, Marilyn, and do something that makes you feel good and will take your mind off bad news.
Karen
Hugs from me too, Marilyn! Your Mom's good health will be a huge asset with the surgery. Will keep the prayers coming for you both.
Thank you Memory, Karen, & Louise.....did go shopping today, but am coughing again & running a temp.....just going to emulate Allison & sit!

So sorry to hear about your mom Marilyn
Rest and relax, Marilyn.
Karen

oh is that just tacky
yes VERY tacky!
Good news, sort of. DS's liver biopsy showed stage 2 non alcoholic fatty liver disease. he now will see a liver specialist. Through diet and exercise he should be able to reverse it. Thankful the news was not any of the other possibilities that were presented.
Too bad that he has to go through such. However, certainly glad that it wasn't something worse. If he sticks to a new regimen she should be ok. I hate my diet, but blood sugar is down. DH loses weight on it, but unfortunately I don't. However the internal results are good.
Glad to hear the sort of good news Jan, better than the could have been.
Luci goes to get her cast off today, hopefully it's all healed and she won't have to get another one put on.
Domenic is getting tested for whooping cough...these grand-kids are more worry than my two boys ever were...
Jan, Marilyn, Victor, Karen, and the rest too. Hoping your loved ones are meaking out well with their medical events.
Happy to hear the good news this morning. Jan, my co-worker was able to reverse the same condition, so I'm sending DS good vibes for complete success!
Allison and Marilyn, hope you are both being good today and getting all the rest your bodies need. Hugs to you both!
On the deck with my feet up.. Good here ;)
Yeah, behave yourselfs Ladies!!
Thanks, Deb, and friends....that's really good news, Jan! Ronnie, Luci must be crazy happy...hope Dominic is going to be fine... I'm trying to be good....feeling better right now, but dying to get to the weeds!
The weeds will wait Marilyn!
Yes they will! Trust me, this is the first time I have been able to tackle each and every bed in 3 years. You have NO IDEA!!! Ask Allison, I think I had one maybe 2 beds done when she came....it was a MESS!
2009 ~ Tiffany got married, had no time.
2010 ~ Tarsha got married no time
2011 ~ Six infected teeth, on antibiotics 3 times from June to Sept....too sick to work or even care.
2012 ~ beating myself up to catch up. ^_^
I wasn't worried.. or judging .. it happens.. and now to me too
Yes, weeds will wait. Glad you are feeling better, Marilyn, but please don't push it. Allison, keep healing well.
Yay for Luci, and praying for good report for Domenic. Continued prayers for dear Adam.
Thanks for the well wishes for Andy.
Health is WAY more important than weeds
You cannot imagine how I needed to read these last few posts right now. The grandies left yesterday after an 8-day visit. I am really aching from the fatigue and yet wanting to resume my garden chores. I still wouldn't trade one second of the great visit with both amazing kids and their impressive Mom who juggles things WAY better than I could! It was priceless, so I'll just lie low awhile. Glad to know I'm in such wonderful company! Perhaps we can all go together and hire a wandering band of itinerant gardeners to make a lot of stops at all our gardens. LOL.
Take it easy everyone....it's way hot out there and we have roofers on our roof!
I finally broke down and called someone today for a price on getting some clean up out front where the PI is. This is the third season for me not being able to tackle it all since my back surgery. The Virginia Creeper is starting to come in the windows! LOL
Lou is going to tackle the rotting front porch floor boards so hopefully it will all get cleaned up and look neat again.
I'll certainly chip in for the roving band of itinerant gardeners!
YAY no more cast for Luci!! Now she can swim tomorrow!
So glad for Luci, miserable summer without being able to swim. :)
Wonderful for Luci, Ronnie. It sounds like you have a good game plan!
glad to hear about Luci.. and the clean up
just so you guys are not worried about me.. my wonderful employer denied my leave.. even though I can't drive.. and said I can work in the office on light duty.. which is an hour away .. told me to figure out how I am getting in.. my nice co-worker that lives nearby is going to be nice enough to pick me up.. UGH.. need to win the lottery.. so when I am not posting the same flower photos over and over.. don't worry about me
;)
Yay for Luci!!!
Sign me up for the itinerant troupe of garden helpers.
I was wondering how the roof was coming, Louise.
Holy cow, Allison!!! Maybe your boss could pick you up. Glad your coworker is able to help you out.
not sure how reliable she is.. but she lives in the next town.. guess Randy will have to bring me in if she bugs out on me.. will have to buy her lunch
What a creep! Let's see how he does with a cast on his leg! Oh, I'll sign for the gardeners....Louise, take it easy for a few days....Yeah, I know.....I need to pull some weeds, too, but I'm actually being good today...the coughing scared me...I did go to art class, but that was therapy!
art class is good!!!... now you have to take it easy for me RD!!!
Sorry to hear about your unwise, unloving boss, Allison. It'll come back to him. I'll chip in $5 for your nice co-worker's gas.
Marilyn, you have your priorities straight! Art class is therapy. Wish I was in art class now.
Blessings and strength to Baby Adam and his parents. May light surround you all.
it's a work car.. she doesn't pay for gas.. but I told Randy I will offer to buy her lunch anyway for her time
Rats, Allison...that just stinks. Don't you have to drive in your job? Will be thinking about you and beaming you some good karma!
Marilyn, good to,wait until that cough is better! Art lessons are the best therapy I know, because your right brain takes over and you leave the problems behind. Hope you are well soon!
A nicely timed 'fall' in the office, Allison...
Jan, they are working very quickly with a laundry list of minor fixes in addition to the roof and chimney. I was worried about them up there on the roof today in that terrible heat. They expect to be done by Monday possibly. Tomorrow the chimney comes down. Tomorrow I also get my new laptop so I can post some pics. Can't wait to have a working computer again. What have you been up to out there?
Thinking like a bad lawyer, Victor! Lol. But good idea! :)
Gonna try icab one more time to see if I can upload a photo.
