Hi Andy, so nice to have you back!! That columbine is just stunning!!!

Gotta go,I'm painting iris
I love all these blooms! Jo, your pics convinced me to try Mona Lisa lily next year in my "pink' garden where there are all dark maroons in bloom now.
Ohh, great combination, Celeste! No, I don't have a lot of lilies (yet!), and nothing quite like Burgundy Iceburg. Funny how color schemes start to change. I was hungry for dark colors and now suddenly in almost july, everything in that section is burgundy--especially early lilies and HHs, so about the only contrast is from leaving the seed pods on the green lotus peony (I know, I'm supposed to cut them off). Pinch me, but the wasps that were released in this area seem to be effective-- very few RLbeetles.
The daylily is 'Pandora's Box' it's an early bloomer for me and it was an accident that the 'Burgundy Iceberg' rose got placed next to it. I love it when accidents like that happen. ^_^
Rosemary:: Mona Lisa is under 30 inches tall.
Pretty combo Celeste
more I have nothing else better to do shots.. sat out long enough to get my vit. D.. now I am back in again

Allison the hummer shots are incredible! I like the last one of the petunia, love single shots like that!
Great color on the columbine, Andy.....I wish I had more luck with them....Jo. fantastic lilies....I saw many paintings there! Allison, the hummers love you.....none here, although I did have a bluebird hanging around yesterday.....
it's funny how the hummers fighting .. and I hear that chatter.. makes me smile every time.. I don't get the territorial thing here.. when I see photos from other people with 6 - 8 hummers all eating out of the same feeder.. never going to happen here.. the one male keeps chasing everyone else away
They can be brutal...must be a Napoleon thing.....
I want Chocolate Canary soooooo much
ooooo, pretty!
Love those HHs.....I have a tall rudbeckia, but not that one....my DH used to say mine were the 'outhouse' ones, as he remembered them being planted by his childhood home in Woodstock,VT....right near the outhouse!
bet they were well fertilized
The scent of the 'Touching' Lily is filling my entire yard WONDERFUL!!!
Great pics, everyone. I have not had time to post any pics, but I've taken a lot. Will get a few on tonight.
Bill, your gardens around the pond are looking good. Love the lotus.
Allison, I love the Under The Sea coleus.
Celeste, I love the Sombrero Hot Coral. On my want list! BTW, happy accidents happen in my garden all the time.
Jo, your lilies are looking great. Are you spraying for the beetles? Those paintings are great, even the one you just got started. I love you watercolors.
Andy, I love the hens and chicks in the shoes. I have some old shoes. Bring some of those hens and chicks to the RU, if you want. Love the columbines, too. They are a favorite flower of mine.
Marilyn, I think your NOID daylily could be Strawberry Candy. http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/21225/

Here are some pics from this past week.
The first is a very floriferous DL of my late mother's, one that is just called DL8; the second and third are of another of my late mother's that I've named Mom's Yellow Pinwheel; the fourth is a shot of those 2 together; the last one is a shot of Inner View with Mom's 2 in the background.
