Wow - so far behind, as usual. Will try to post some soon.
Strange year in many ways. Aside from the weird timing, I am finding volunteers from plants I never did before. An oakleaf hydrangea was growing in the space between my patio pavers. Tried to get it out intact, but could not. Also have a volunteer crpe for the first time, as well as a physocarpus - either Coppertina or Summer Wine.

Gorgeous Ronnie!
Allison, hope it's nothing serious, sit on your butt and enjoy all you've created. ^_^
Thanks!
OUCH Allison, take it easy that can be a serious sprain.
Sorry Allison :(
Feel better, Allison!
duct tape will take care of that allison - feel better
been there done that Bill.. thanks guys!!!.. might be trapped upstairs for a few again.. need a house with bed, bath and kitchen on the same floor
hate spraining an ankle - keep your foot up
yep... amazing how quick Hope & Eros learned when I say.. stay back.. they do .. both have been pretty good.. I was attacked on the ground when I fell too.. no one liked me laying down.. and Lily is good for licking tears off my face.. LOL... going for an ex-ray today just in case.. even though I don't think it's that bad.. I can put some weight on it.. but not much.. turning lovely colors already.. I put some of that super blue stuff on it.. don't even feel the warm coming through the swelling .. going to be a few I am guessing
Oh, dear!!! Feel better soon!
oh man you really did a number on it this time, hope x rays are negative
Allison, hope it's not too serious! Awful time of year to be injured!
thanks.. I always seem to do it RD.. push and push and push
Did that 3 yrs. ago, Allison. The pair of Ortho Drs. told me that an xray would be true only if it's at least a week after the injury so the status shows up correctly. Turned out to be some ligament or cartilage?? partially shredded downward instead of across (would have needed surgery). Very painful to walk on. Put me in a boot for a while and it turned out fine. Seems the rest did some healing if not completely.
oh shredded is not the word for my ankle.. bone spurs galore too .. I do need the surgery .. just takes a long time to heal and figure I have to do it after Christmas .. so Randy is not alone setting up .. LOL.. figured seeding time might be good for that .. can sit & play with seeds
Can you wear some kind of brace in the meantime to relieve the pain?
nice marilyn - can't believe you have that many HH blooms mine do not look close to opening.
wish i could have lilies
they gave me the choice of the walking boot or air cast & crutches.. I choose the crutches and air cast.. that boot weighed a ton.. told me to stay off it for a few
Sounds like it will heal fast, Allison...please let it......stay out of the garden! I know how hard that is.....Bill, why no lilies?
yeah I will be good.. I promise.. the deck is as far as I will go
I have 3 of my grandsons here for a while Jen. Remind me to look for the ID again some time next week. After that, my relatives from Florida will be staying with me for a week or two. Summer is filled with visitors, which we really enjoy.
Allison, I chose the boot because it left my hands free while I could still "walk around". Can you take steps on the air cast without using the crutches. I'm bound to do some kind of damage again and am collecting information.
Teri, Does 'Royal Sunset' sounds familiar?
the boot is better for that Teri.. the air cast has no comfort for the floor.. shouldn't step on it at all
Royal Sunset, it is, Jen.
Awesome, thanks Teri!
Oh yeah 'Luxury Lace' is that dl
That petunia is gorgeous Terri!!!
love the penst. Celeste.. that one is begonia bonfire .. both just as cool!!!.. Teri I love those petunias
Thank you, I changed it. :)
:)
Ooooh Teri I like that petunia too!
nice colors all
sorry if there are a lot of repeats.. you see what I see.. and I was bored .. since I can't go in the garden you have to look through the Hope fence like I do.. LOL
