I've saved the recipe! Course I'll be sampling some of yours.
Summer's coming cooking
You haven't left yet??!! :)
Wow, Debi...thought you were kidding! Enjoy the picnic!
I was kidding but wish I weren't!
Oh, me too! Guess it's bratwurst for tonight.....
Chicken stir fry with mushrooms and pak choi and tatsoi from the garden. Beet, michili and olive salad. Vinho Verde.
Oh, yum....I ate a regular meal today for the first time in awhile, but I'll admit it was Kashi Lemongrass Coconut Chicken....made the salad myself, though!
left over pork roast and fresh sweet corn on the cob.
Chicken florentine over rice
Lasagna, salad and rolls
Taco Tower....brown beef and drain, add pk. of taco seasoning and water as if you were making taco's. Take a can of re-fried beans and place it on the bottom of a large platter. Alternate layers of hamburg-taco mix, shredded cheese of your choice, salsa, lettuce, pickled jalapeno peppers , cherry tomatoes halved and top with a big dollop of sour cream, then sprinkle sliced black olives on top and tortilla chips around it.
This is a messy, flat version of it. When I have company I am a bit more on the neat side and dress it a little better, turning it into a lovely volcano type dish. :) Doesn't matter, it's a easy, cool dish to make and yummy!
Looks yummy! Am making chicken salad & fruit salad for a light lunch for my friend....don't want to be too filled up picking the berries.....
That taco "tower" is good for parties
Bean bake in the crockpot. Browned meat, added taco seasoning. Add to whatever kind of beans you like stir together with a jar of salsa and let it do it's thing til dinner. We usually serve it over rice. You could use tortillas or chips.
hubby declared pizza night
local festival opens tonight. dinner there. most likely dinner there tomorrow too.
Shrimp and Broccoli curry with parslied potatoes and salad.
We are going to have to have a food hiatus soon, the leftovers are piling up in the fridge!
Neighbor brought over rice and black beans -yum! Just the right amount of heat.
Meatballs with cucumber dill sauce, brown rice, squash casserole.....
Going to cook chicken legs with an onion from the garden and some potatoes from the store and some Lamb's Quarters. Whoa! Thunder - better get off the computer. Thank goodness for the rain!
I know the shore area got really hit....how nice for a change! I'm happy with the showers we got, so are my plants....will be pickling soon.....
