brat!!!... Randy picked up five guys for me.. felt bad about the ankle
Summer's coming cooking
Wow - very generous of him. I'll have to hurt my ankle and see if my wife brings home five girls...
oh you
Oh so good, I just treated it like a super thick steak. Mmm.
leftover eggplant parm(always better the next day)
Yes the corn is early
steak on the grill
Son had 2 helpings of dessert, & he usually doesn't eat any....I sent him home with most of it.....
Have a bronchial thing.....very annoying, & I don't feel like eating, so I made cold gazpacho for lunch, & cold cream of veggie soup for supper.....the ice cream, of course, has no trouble going down!
that always stinks in the hot weather.. feel better RD
making Victor's chickpea ala ceci sauce tonight.. going to cut up spinach real small and sneak that in too
oh I have a bar stool next to the stove.. before anyone yells at me
;)
Hee hee!
it was better this time than last Victor.. and Randy went for 2nds again!!!!.. I had to put chicken stock in the food processor to get the chickpeas ground up right.. let that cook off before I did anything else.. came out really good
Cool! I mash them by hand.
I wanted it real fine so he couldn't see them.. he thinks he doesn't like em.. just like a kid.. I have to hide things like that
went to a graduation party today (means no cooking!)
the best kind of dinner Jumper!!!
and we got to visit with people we haven't seen in a while
even better!!
hubby grilled bratwurst last night so he had those leftover and I had the pork meatballs and sauerkraut leftover so no cooking here
Today. Leftovers to clean out the frig.
Thanks, Allison....still have laryngitis, but maybe that's a good thing! Made potato salad for picnic....
rest up RD.. feel better
pork chops on the grill
Victor's recipe sounds like something I need to try here. Its like everyone here is scared of healthy food. My DH thinks the push on less processed foods is to make us die younger. He says the preservatives keep us alive longer. lol I think he actually believes himself! Although I have been eating way less processed food since having my baby and eating way more veggies and fruits. I have had more daily, than I used to eat in a whole week. I have been having nausea, back pain in the middle of the night and have been craving sweets way more than usual. So I am starting to wonder if the healthy stuff isn't agreeing with me! It's weird

I have been trying to eat less processed food.. but not enough.. Randy's doc says the processed food is really bad for my Epstein Barr.. been thinking about even buying a pasta roller
If you guys have not yet tried it, give psyllium a try. I take the powder, which takes getting used to, but they have it in pills too. Great source of bulk fiber and has many benefits,
I have a pasta roller. I won it at a jack n jill years ago and still haven't tried it. I had always wanted one when cooking was more of a hobby (before kids) lol now it's much more of a chore. ( I still want to try it.) I like to try new things and experiment, which doesn't go over well with picky children and husbands. So I'm bored and stuck making white rice, canned veggies and some kind of meat every night. Yawn ;)
Thanks Victor I will check it out too!
Meredith that doesn't sound normal, you better get that checked out
had grilled shrimp, zucchini and wild rice
Preggers again?! ^_^
I know Jen I have an apointment soon, I'm going to see if I should see another doctor about it. Victor, Actually I'm relieved to say that isn't even possible! Phew :) You had me thinking about it for a sec! lol
Last night, out of ideas and fresh food, turned to a frozen Wanchai Ferry Kung Pao Chicken Dinner lurking in the bottom of the freezer compartment. Not bad.
Meridith: my DW has been having similar tired and achy feelings. I've been lobbying to get her to cut out some weird OTC stuff she has been taking and limit herself to medicines prescribed by her doc, but ultimately it's her decision.
Homemade hoagies, pasta salad, brownies and blueberry muffins the girls helped make. They are here two nights a week for dinner and it's getting tough to keep it different. Hate to feed them hot dogs and mac n cheese. Why do they like that so much! LOL
Sounds like my grandies! Not motivated to eat...finally went to doc & got a Z pack.....just had some chicken salad because it went down OK....
hope that Zpack works RD!!... I was lazy and put a couple of hotdogs under the broiler
burgers on the grill. had lettuce from the garden on mine.
Ham steaks, garlic-chive mashed taters, steamed carrots and corn on the cob.
Ham steaks here too! Brussels sprouts, potatoes and salad.
Yup I have been taking some over the counter stuff, the Dr told me to though. I took the last of it the other day, so maybe that will help.
Was at the beach but got home earlier than expected and had to find something for dinner
Everyone had something different beanies and weenies, bratwurst, peirogies, fish sticks
