Morning all, what a sunrise..sun is a bright red..gorgeous to look at.

Wow jumped out of bed like a mad woman, when in back shed I burnt all that I could of projects I thought I might do in wood, then there was a large ghost I no longer put out,mold scatter Matt's etc. which I wanted to put in the green bin next door which is picked up early Wedns. So up and at it getting that done before the truck pick up..why on earth do we keep such junk.

I'll be alone at the office today, I should have gone on the lookout for something I could have brought to fill my day, maybe there is still more time to find something.

Thoughts are with you Dianne this morning..hope seeing its a lovely day you will be out in your gardens for a bit, don't forget to rest and eat.

Debbie likely you will be on the road about now ..hope all goes well for DD!

Mary, Disney will get you through the transition..all looking forward to Disney,mthey the Disney trip, then into the work force they go, by then they will say back to school next month...hurrah! Do they all get along with DS's girlfriend..omg Mary as I m typing they say Disney is reporting above normal financial gain at their theme parks..that is good news

Thanks Betty, not leaving here til about 9:15....have to be there at 11:00 for a Noon surgery time. Last time with DH's knee was the first time they were ever off schedule due to an emergency, so hope this goes smooth.

I have men working across the street roofing, maybe this will cheer me up for the week. lol

Betty, I think the campfire up at your place with everyone for Santa Warren will be a wonderful idea and perhaps healing.

A few weeks ago a woman was killed in an auto
accident. She was very well liked, so the office shut down
for her funeral and it was on the news and so on. On the day
the workers came back to work, they found this poem in their
e-mail that the deceased woman had sent on Friday before she
left for home.

"If tomorrow starts without me,
and I'm not there to see,
if the sun should rise and find your eyes
all filled with tears for me;

I wish so much you wouldn't cry
the way you did today,
while thinking of the many things,
we didn't get to say.

I know how much you love me,
as much as I love you,
and each time that you think of me,
I know you'll miss me too.

But when tomorrow starts without me,
please try to understand,
that an angel came and called my name,

I've been keeping up reading here and keeping good thoughts and prayers for everyone. Haven't written as my flu bug has been hanging on. Woke up feeling much better today.

Waiting for my new puter to come in the mail so I can head for home. Weather is beautiful and Tony is there so I don't have to hurry. Very nice, especially with a new-to-me vehicle.

About all I've done the last few days is read and do a little shopping so there's not much to say.

A quiet weekend for me...Grandson is off to his Dad's this weekend and DH is working....a weekend that is just mine...(Happy Mother's Day to me) grin

Right now he's out picking up material to make a new berm, and skirting for a trailer, for a church friend of ours. She's hired him to do the job, Plus she wants work done on her roof! What a blessing our church family is. Another church friend wants Bob to work on her roof - repairing leaks etc.
So, he's out of the house and not watching while I cut foam LOL he's very opinionated, is my Bob, and it's nice to do stuff without his ever-watchful-eye lol

As go the sayings....Familiarity breeds contempt.....and absence makes the heart grow fonder. I can think of no one...not even my dearly loved family, that I could spend 24/7/365 with and not get a bit itchy after a while....but I do sorely miss them if they are gone very long. Odd ducks we humans...grin

Home finally, safe and sound. Long day, IV issues, blown vein and arm filled with fluid. "Go get mom" was heard and they came running.
She may be 21 and such...but she wanted Mom....and immediately after coming out of anesthesia....they got the "Get Mom".

Standing at the end of the hospital bed talking to her, she starts laughing at me. WHAT is the issue? "Mom, your polka dot bra is showing through your shirt, I see speckles" OMGosh....couldn't run or hide. Luckily had a wrap in the car and ran and put it on. That was the first thing she had to tell Dad....Mom showing herself to the hot doctor!

Susan, thank goodness for kindness of people, even if odd jobs blue the groceries it's a plus...he sure wold be busy in my neck of the woods, so many people looking for handyman!

Jean, indeed we are odd ducks..I find the more I spend time on my own the easier it is to enjoy doing exactly what I want to do when I want to do it but would trade it in a sec to have hubby back issuing orders. Lol.

Just put in 2 hours working outside. Let's just say the secret garden is not so secret anymore..talk about dead branches..guess I'll have to pick up a few trees/shrubs. Lol

She is very tired, and DH and I just helped her upstairs to her bed. Dear old dad changed the sheets on the bed and hung up a curtain to block the sunlight before we even got home. Then had to serve her dinner to her . Possibly he missed his little girl. lol

No, she won't. She is upset as doc said no driving for 7 to 10 days til off crutches. That means, she has no way to get back and forth to work...unless she stays here. This should be fun. She is fighting it.

Yes my precious little one was here !! she has grown sooo much !!! her hair is very much longer !! and can she ever get mad / angry !! she sure does not like to be told "no" ahhh but who does???

the first night she was here....she took all the books off of one of the shelves in the guest room where she was supposed to be going to sleep....her Momma asked her why did you do that? she said "theres no good books" too cute, I had to walk away for a minute so as not to laugh....and when her Momma put her in time out she yelled "help me Pepe !!" so he would go sit with her.....her Momma was not too happy about that....but there was no arguing with the Pepe !! He did not talk with her just sat next to her and held her hand....

she is pretty darn smart, if I do say so myself.. :) we bought her a new book, and after reading it to her a few times...she could repeat / remember what many of the pages said.

OH Thunder, sitting here chuckling "Help me Pepe" she has his number big time!

Debbie - you & your DH have your "baby" back home.......... and she's not happy about being the "baby" eh? Putting curtains up so she can rest/sleep is a good idea and clean sheets is sweet of "dear old dad" to do. Now, if I can only train my DH to change the sheets lol

I just sent my DH back to the place we got my ink re-filled. The colour one was leaking Big Time - they're going to clean it up. S'funny, as he said, when he ran the test that the colour wasn't leaking, but guess once we'd had it in the car for a bit it did?!?! Anyway, will be good to be able to print again!! I have some embroidery transfers to create, using my Iron-on Transfer Pencil.

thank goodness we did not have three girls instead of the boys, I think they would have been very spoiled !!!

here she is snoring in the basket that her Daddy slept in for the first few months of his life!!! It now holds the stuffed animals she has here. she picked up the basket, and asked me if she could dump it out, then said can I get in? , then proceeded to curl up and started snoring :) hopped out and said I forgot kisses!! came and gave me a kiss, and then Pepe, and said goodnight, and got back in the basket and snored some more !!!

Oh Thunder, they are so precious at that age! She is so pretty, and I love that hair!

Deb - this too shall pass... too funny...when they get off their high horse and are needy again... we become the Mommy very quickly... had that happen with DS last week....
Betty - yes - all eyes are on Disney at this point. Mine as well....or I should say mine especially. DSD1 and DSGF never got along until last year. So many changes from DSD moving out - that was one as well.. now they are very close....so that is a good thing. The girls will all share a room at the little suite we'll be staying at.
You all have me ROFLOL talking about all the hot guys.... A little eye candy good for the soul.... Jean love your words of wisdom....

We just got home from FFA Banquet and I'm exhausted... might have to check back. I did read all and such but just so darn tired...

Well, it's been an "interesting" week weather-wise......... we'll get rain/snow tonight - up to 5 cm!
and then it's going to "turn around" and get hot again on Friday/Saturday lol

Thunder, I looked at that first picture and I swear I saw her Pepe all wrapped around that tiny little finger.....grin
