Thanks, Celeste....yes, as his high-paid editor, I do think his book will be a treasure for the family in later generations. This one will have limited circulation.
Coffee Break # 78
That sounds like a nice book to have in the family Louise, a keepsake for sure.
Thanks.
My older guy had his first track meet yesterday. Ran a 6:19 mile. Came in third. That's a good time - especially for a newbie.
Redbud trees always take my breath away...truly ethereal.
That's neat Louise...which cemetery?????
Prayers for your mom Victor
Running my least favorite sport, good luck to him, my nephew used to do cross country track I had joined softball cause I figured it had the least amount of running, the coach made us run laps around the soccer fields...grrrrrrr
Family treasure for sure. Sorry his brother isn't up for your visit. Continued safe traveling.
Great time for DS's run, Victor
Do you know how your mom made out today with her heart procedure?

I would really have to hold myself back from strangling this teacher

Last I heard she was in the middle of the procedure. She will be kept overnight. Thanks.
Cloverleaf Cemetery in Woodbridge in the veterans memorial park. We just left there, and very close to the veterans area is an interesting Chinese/korean/Thai section with beautiful very large fan-like monuments for each grave with beautiful and colorful characters on them. The cemetery worker that helped us put a flag on Uncle Taras's grave explained that the Asian people buy 4 plots for each grave. The markers are really large. One or two people are buried per grave. It is the only section that allows above-ground stones. I was so impressed with that section. On many of the markers, there were cameo-like photo holders that have photos of the owners of the monuments, some stll alive and others deceased. The "cameos" have brass covers that you lift to see the photos. Very interesting.
Jen, do you live anywhere near that cemetery?
What a wonderful project for Hank to undertake.....every family should have a historian, so much is lost between the generations.....hope your Mom is doing well, Victor......Jen, I agree......a sick child needs to be removed immediately.....no common sense these days......
Continued best wishes for Adam, Victor and Victors mom.
Ditto!!!
Just heard from my sis. After having the stent put in, she started bleeding. They had to go back in and put another and 'patch' the hole. My sister will see her after work. They said she is okay now. Thanks to all.
Louise, I used to live closer to Woodbridge...worked in WB for 3 years, now I'm about an hour from there(if there is absolutely no other cars on the road...LOL)
I would like to introduce you to my granddaughter Leah Rose. She was born yesterday, 9 weeks early. Mom and baby are doing well, Lindsey improved greatly today and Leah actually is off of her cpap and on a nasal cannula so also has improved. David is already becoming quite the attentive dad and even changed her diaper today.
OH how sweet she is♥ Congratulations Debi!!

Welcome, little dear one, to a world that is sometimes over-lit in light bulbs, but that's so the medical staff can do their jobs...just slumber away, and get stronger, and soon you'll be running in fields of clover and daisies and butterflies and queen anne's lace and exploring a beautiful world....
Thanks Allison and BA
