Well, I have the crud, hubby had it last week, and i tried so hard to avoid it, but... So I have been taking meds and sleeping all day!

Kel's cruds became a bronchitis. Not me.. got it for a couple of days, and it stopped. I think it's because I had been placing raw garlic in the gums of my mouth. Must have killed whatever throat germs I had.

The fairy is so beautiful Sue. Will you be adding a water feature later? Maybe a small pond with koi?
I am very glad that Tim's home for now, for you sure need him to help you. Maybe later he'd be offered a job overseas.

Cindy, it's the reverse for us. I'm the cold one and Kel's a natural heater!!

Pegi, I'm looking forward to low 80s for the rest of summer!! (No more spring here) The utility bill will be much bearable, if gas prices soar any higher.
Gas is now dipping to 3.68 a gallon.

Sis Kathy, I dreamt that I bought 80 pounds of crawfish last night. Was going to make crawfish etouffee, crawfish boullettes and some good bisques until I realised I don't have a pot big enough to boil them crawfish all at one time!!
So fair warning sistah, besides a guinea gumbo, I'll be salivating for crawfish!

Since Kim doesn't eat mullet, I have priced any lately. I did see there is a new place opened that has mullet on the menu. I might see if Charles would like to meet me for lunch one day. The review group gave it an excellent review so I shall see,....

Sue - when I posted about the cruds, I was referring to LK - HOWEVER, that being said, I am now stuffed up, my sinuses hurt, and I've lost my voice........... went to sleep at 1:00 this am, and woke up at 4:30 my sinuses hurt so much
went back to sleep at 7:30 and slept back and forth until 11:00........

He'd called last week about the job (friend told him they were looking for warehouse people), and the woman was on vacation. He didn't have her email to send a resume, so took it in today. She was in a meeting, and so he left it with someone who put it on the woman's desk. Now we'll just wait to hear back from her.

Marion, it's Community Coffee Dark Roast, and I'd suggest you might do a mixture of 1/2 milk and 1/2 coffee. Similar to cafe du lait!

I will take coffee most anyway I can get it Jaye. Funny thing, did you know dark roast has less caffeine? I didn't know that until we toured the Doka coffee plantations in Costa Rica. They grow for Starbucks and during the tour they were telling us the darker the roast, the less caffeine. Surprised the entire group! They had samples for us to try and there is one called peaberry (think that is the correct name--pea somthing) and it is horrible. PS had cafe du lait last night.

Busy day today. I need to bake a cake for Kim----4 students have birthdays tomorrow and that is her tradition with her classes. Thank goodness it can/will be a sheet cake. In addition to that I have a few more plants I want to get into the ground/pots.

You all have mention self pollinating trees. Her question is do these self pollinators also pollinate other trees??

As far as I know.. most fruit trees need to be cross pollinated to bear fruits. So you need 2 trees of the same kind planted close together.
But there those that are self pollinated and no 'partner' is needed.
I don't know whether these self pollinators would pollinate others.. hmm.. maybe of the same variety?
I have fig trees that are self pollinators too, besides the apple.

i did a broad of chics i got from a lady and welp all of them were cockerells i was mad.

Tim is leaving sat night. i don't know how i feel about that ? he has been my rock and he takes out the trash. LOL honestly i think i will miss him ? usually i can't wait to get him out ! LOL this time i m sad.
