That's funny about the chow suey. I have fond memories of my dad making Chow Mein with leftover pork roast
What's cooking?
Of course Victor, batches of sauce and meatballs get frozen for quick dinners. The manicotti were frozen though but good ones. One of these days I'll make them homemade, my MIL used to do it all the time.
Las the tang of the cream cheese on the bread is so much better than butter and I'm not a garlic bread fan, I like the chewiness of a good Italian loaf.
I've never had Chow Mien or Chop Suey!
I'll be there when you do!
Come on over!!
oh Ronnie.. Randy said he wants to hand deliver your plants .. and shipment cost will be a cheese steak.. LOL
LOL Good thinking Randy!!! Sounds like something Brian would say. :)
cracked me up .. that's for sure
Since Garret & family will be here for dinner, am roasting a chicken, mashed potatoes, asparagus, & carrots....the kids may eat 3 bites of something....
Lots of leftovers...the kids barely touched the food.....I see why the girls are so skinny.....
pizza night( or for me pizza toppings)
Sounds like a good deal to me Allison!!!

MMM that sounds good!
Macaroni salad, potato salad and sandwiches.
pork steak is in the oven.
We had a 20th wedding anniversary, so the once every "score" treat was brunch with DH at Cafe Fleuri in the Boston Financial District. There's a pretty atrium there and serving tables for every kind of food. On Sundays they have their seafood bar, and lobster pasta was either a prepared ramekin or sauteed fresh at the pasta table. Desserts included a crepe table that could do a flambe if you wanted it. There was also a salad table, an omlet table, a chocolate fountain table and a waffle table, but who could eat it all?
Happy Anniversary Rosemary!
Thanks, guys!
still stuffed from lunch.. I made pork loin, bacon wrapped asparagus, baked potatoes and bought an ice cream cake for our get together today
Happy Anniversary, Rosemary.
Glad you had a great day, Allison. We enjoyed our coffee this morning with Celeste and Brian.
Made an egg mess with veggies and leftovers. Very good
I really wish we all lived closer together Jan.. was such a great day
and it was YUMMY!!!!!☺
Me, too. I am sure it was delicioso!
thanks Jen!!
Oh my day was wonderful, coffee with Jan & Jeff....it felt like catching up with old friends...not enough time!
Then onto Allison's for a mini RU w/ more old friends and a STUPENDOUS meal!! I had a wonderful day but exhausting day!!!
how long did it take you to get home?
Approx. 7 1/2 hours
Ran out of supplies and imagination simultaneously, so dug back in the freezer and heated up a packaged meal from the local deli. Cuban chicken with shrimp and chorizo over black beans and rice. Yummy.
I looked on the web and found several similar recipes, so will have to try from scratch sometime.
I saw this on World News Now Friday Morning.
Starbucks Strawberry Frappuccino comes from a 'natural' dye that consists of crushed cochineal bugs, not delicious pieces of blended fruit.

Glad you had a fun anniversary, Rosemary .... Pixie & the Jersey girls, you all look great! Going out to lunch today with a friend...
