poor Susie - haven't seen her on for awhile. I hope she gets the rest she needs. Obviously quite a lot as you don't go into the hospital with simple exhaustion........ and pneumonia takes some resting up from........

OH BJ!! I absolutely LOVE traction, having your head pulled stretches all the muscles along your spine and helps put everything in place. I sometimes go to the chiropractor and tell him that I need my head pulled! LOL

I know what you mean about traction, Crissy - when you're all cramped, then straightening the muscles and joints sure helps!!

She said Dr thinks she has a virus. No blood clot was found. She will still have the stress test tomorrow. She hopes to be home from the hospital tomorrow. She sounds like she is worn out but she did not complain. What a trooper!

Update on Susie, she had a stress test done, and is waiting on those results, she is hoping to go home today, maybe tomorrow? She is feeling better, and on lots of antibiotics.

I just talked to Susie, and she got home about 20 minutes ago. She is tired, and sore from all the blood thinner injections, but she is home and resting. She said she will try to get online tomorrow.

Good news on Susie there.
I was at the doctor's office for a split second this morning.
Thought of asking him for strong cough syrup, but when I approached the receptionist, I heard so much coughing from the waiting room, that I left.
Always heard that one can catch more germs from a doctor's or hospital than the public!!
Anyway, I knew I'm on the mend as the coughs are productive. Don't want a relapse.
Will put up with this annoyance and sore ribs a few days more.
Slept when I got home. Not a baby's sleep, but at least no coughs for a couple of hours..
Til the season for flus..thank God I had my flu shot, if not it could turn into a full blown one?

Jaye - glad you didn't make your cold worse by picking up on some new germs!!

Jaye, maybe your Dr. can call in a script for you?

Well, Andy just called, and unless she goes into labor before Mondy, she will be admitted Monday morning, and will be induced.

LK, since my heart surgery, my doctor doesn't do rx over the phone. He loves me so much that he wants to see me each time I need something!!! Lolol!!

When my son was born at 9lb 11oz, he turned out to be a skinny minnie! 5'10" and 102 lbs as a teenager. All muscle. He was born long and thin, too!!

Thought I'd been here today. Mind's not cohesive today.
In and out of sleep.

Me was an 8 pound 4 oz. baby. Mum had me at home. Great grandma delivered me. Dad hated me from my first bawl!! Lolol.. he wanted a boy.

Sure hope you get rid of that crud soon Jaye.

Ha! Jaye that's funny, I was 7lbs 11oz 21 inches long and my mom wanted a boy, even had a name picked out! When I showed up a girl she didn't know what to do!! LOL!!

That was before the time of ultrasounds. I'm sure if that technology was available during that time, my father would have surely had me aborted. Some herbalists would be willing to give my mum the poison :(

She's my ex' greatnephews' mother and have such a rough life.
I don't know what stage she's in, but I did ask ex to check on her.

Another Week? !!! OMG... my guess is 9lbs, 8oz.

Well, I tried to not take the pain pills yesterday, and went to bed without one last night, but had to get up around 2am to take one anyway. I'm just so aware that I can become addicted to these things if I'm not careful. And I hate the way they make me feel so lethargic. Waiting patiently for Friday when the doc discusses traction with me. I do find that if I lay across my bed, with my chin resting on the edge of the bed, and let the weight of my head pull on my spine... it does help. I do that several times a day for about 15 mins.

Gotta funny story... Don was off Monday, and he launched the boat so we could take it out on the lake... (finally have enough water in the lake to float the boat). So, before we take off, he's sitting at his computer and tells me that he thinks he will take me out to eat since he won't be around on valentines day. My mouth flew open, and I gave him my confused look. "HUH?!!! I let him go through the entire explanation about his trip to San Antonio. Then I asked him if he even knew today's date. He swung around to his calendar, and we both fell out laughing on the floor. We haven't laughed that hard in a long time.
I should have kept my big mouth shut, I might have gotten another valentine out of it (if he could even find one). So, he took me out to eat anyway, via boat to a restaurant we can access by water.

Feeling well enough to play poker tonight, so I better get myself up and get everything set up and ready for it.

Jaye, you get well...once and for all... ok?
