Need some thoughts and prayers here as well. If you remember, my MIL had a major surgery last year where they grafted her aorta to her two femoral arteries. Well now she has a clot at the graft. In the hospital. Waiting to see what's next. Very serious.
Coffee Break #76
Oh, dear, prayers going up now for you all and the doctors.
Prayers from here too.
Hopefully, the anti-clotting drug(s) will do their thing...prayers, in any case.
Thanks.
prayers for all
Thank you.
Guess we can all use this!

Just heard she was released. Not a clot, but most likely a severe inflammation of her joints (she does have arthritis). Good news, but I just hope they are right. They are so dang quick to release you these days.
Hope she responds to the meds, Victor.....severe inflammation is not good, either......
Beautiful! Did his face go in a few minutes later?
Still wishing the best for Victor's MIL. No doubt she's getting great care at home, too.
too cute Celeste!!!
That's great Celeste!
Jan and Victor sending good thought to both of you♥
Hee hee
Praying, Victor

FRIGHTENING!
Kids and others are putting Drano, tin foil, and a little water in plastic drink bottles and capping it up - leaving it on lawns, in mail boxes, in gardens, on driveways etc. just waiting for you to pick it up intending to put it in the rubbish, but you'll never make it!!! If the bottle is picked up, and the bottle is shaken even just a little - in about 30 seconds or less it builds up enough gas which then explodes with enough force to remove some of your extremities. The liquid that comes out is boiling hot as well. Don't pick up any plastic bottles that may be lying in your yards or in the gutter, etc. Pay attention to this. A plastic bottle with a cap. A little Drano. A little water. A small piece of foil. Disturb it by moving it; and BOOM!! No fingers left and other serious effects to your face, eyes, etc. Please ensure that everyone that may not have email access are also informed of this. Check it out at:

Thanks Sherrie! I was just reading about it...glad you posted it!
That is horrifying! I wonder in what region this crime started.
Thanks, Sherrie, for the info!
Sherrie, thanks for the heads up!!!
That is a truly violent offense. I think I'll ask some juvenile clinicians what they know about it, or if it's in adult court.
just crazy
Happy 100th to the Girl Scouts! Surprised the food police have not slammed their cookies yet.
I went back and read the whole article about the exploding bottles. I remember now. Last year, there was a letter from our school superintendant about the exploding mailboxes. The so-called "pranksters" in Massachusetts were putting small bombs in mailboxes and then detonating them when people started walking to check their mail.
Oh my goodness, hubby bought some GS cookies and BOY did they get SMALL.....one box of a new ones is only 1 sleeve of cookies for the same price!!!!!
did the Samoa ones shrink??.. or is it me getting bigger???
Didn't get the Samoas but they are probably NOT Samoan size
