They are cutie pies!

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Those are great pictures Karen, good to see Patches looking so well. :)

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

very cute! I love their coloring

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

Thanks, everyone! Patches has recovered quite well from her surgery. She will always be my favorite. I don't think I could ever replace her.

Just and FYI for you all - a neutered male cat can spray urine 4'.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

ewwwwwwwwwwwwwww

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

I agree Jen!! I'll keep my distance for sure!

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

Gross! A female can spray, too, though I don't know how far, and even fixed ones will do it.

Wallingford was out on a leash walk when he backed up to a bush the strays had marked and let loose! Even the strays don't pee that far. Guess he is just gifted.

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

Update on my boy!! He has on the green collar, in the last pic he's in the middle. Growing so fast!

OMG... he is sooo cute!!!

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

Thanks Allison! He has a nice block head and wrinkles!

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

no video???

:(

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

So adorable! I love the harlequin puppy. Someday I would like to have one. Sooo expensive, though!

Karen

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

No video yet but she did say they will be taking some.
Karen I looked at so many breeders trying to find on in my price range. Compared to most this was the most reasonable for what I was looking for. Really needed that health cert. for no heart disease. I saw some for over 1500.00

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

Wow! Yes, they are expensive, and the ongoing expense for feeding and vet bills gets you, too. Two dogs is all I can afford, and barely, at that.

Lily is getting an ultrasound today... to make sure there are no puppies in there.. good news is there was no milk.. but not sure why she is swollen

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

Ut oh, I hope all is OK otherwise...maybe just a false pregnancy, although I think with that they get milk(?)
Keep us posted.

Thomaston, CT

Oh, hope she is OK, Allison! Ronnie, that pup is so cute....names?

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

Fingers crossed for Lily.

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

We narrowed our pick down to Winston, Poe, or Linus...I think we are going with Linus.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Hope Lily's ok

I like Winston or Linus

South Hamilton, MA

I like Linus. Winston is more for a bulldog.

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

Yup just said the same thing to my husband, he likes Winston the best, That was Abby my bullie's dad's name.

Thomaston, CT

I like Linus.....Winston would become Winnie....

South Hamilton, MA

Isn't it fun, when it is not even our dog.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

well good news is .. she is not pregnant .. but most likely will get her fixed so this false preggers does not keep happening .. if milk does form in there it can be real bad .. have to cut back on her food so milk does not form.. and hopfully she doesn't lick herself too much .. that too can make milk form

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

Love Linus, Ronnie, and that litter is one handsome group of cool pups. Our neighbors lost their very wonderful standard poodle last night to cancer. The whole neighborhood is sad...Tamoka would break out and come garden with me. He was a very smart and nice dog.

Karen, your pups are looking quite happy!

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

What's with all this doggie cancer lately? They say standard poodles are the smartest dogs

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

Thanks, Louise!

Ronnie, I like that name Linus. Good one.

Allison, I'm glad Lily is okay.

Karen

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

Yes, Allison, glad Lily is OK. Jen, I was thinking the same thing. Too much cancer!

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

Too much cancer with people, too. They're dropping like flies. Seems like I'm always hearing about someone dying of cancer. So tragic. We need a cure.

Karen

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

I like both Linus & Winston:)
Glad she not expecting Allison!

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

Cats are having huge amounts of cancer and the cases of hyperthyroid are escalating. What have we done to ourselves?

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

Glad Lily is OK, false pregnancy can be hard on a dog too.

I wonder if we just take such better care of our pets that we hear more instances of cancer that before wouldn't have be diognosed. I know when I was a young mom many years ago we had a little mutt of a dog that never saw a vet unless it was some kind of emergency, no regular check-ups like my guys get today. Funny thing is that sweet little thing lived to be 17.

So glad I posted the names we want it's fun for me too!!

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

I really think it is something in the food or/and the water. With hyperthyroid cats they are blaming the BPA in pull top cat food cans - at least this week. We also give them a lot more vaccinations than 20 years ago, too.

Thomaston, CT

Glad Lily is OK...scary having a sick pet! Three of my last 4 dogs have died of cancer.....that didn't happen when I was a kid....

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

well this new vet called with the estimate to fix Lily.. $500.00.. nuts!!!!.. guess my old vet wasn't so bad after all

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

will one of those spay/neuter services(you know the ones that are REALLY inexpensive, you just have to have a certificate or something like that???) still did it on an older dog?
