Doug doesn't make a list, that's the problem, but on the way he takes a different route and stops at motorcycle shop to check on tires. Never said a word to me at home before we left. There I am with 2 dogs, waiting and waiting grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. He does this to me a lot, takes me on different routes then expects me to remember how to get there next time. I told him if he would tell me he is going to make these stops then I will pay more attention to where we are going. I don't know all the short cuts yet, and he doesn't help when he does things like that. Oh then he tells me "Streets run north and south east and west, I could have smacked him big time. Probably woulda knocked him out too!!! ^_^

Talked to Cookie today and she sends her love. Her dad is very happy and everyone is doing good. They are all happy and healthy. She is just busy with life . I m going to go see her next tuesday hooray ! so i m looking forward to that.

Well the turkeys i have at moment are a bit of a challenge. They stopped eating and drinking , so with help from google and our friends who i got them from . They may be eating and drinking. I took the biggest one and dunked his beak in the water and food for 10 min , i also put some chics in there to teach them where the water was ect....
soooo i did see them peck at the food dish and drink a bit. Gawd them creatures are dumb !! or they just are smarter then us ?? can't decide.
chickens are doing ok but the silkie's have a respitory going or i hope its just a URI... ? so got some antibiotics at TSC.so i m hoping for the best.
tomorrow is cleaning house day , i have two houses. friday i have a big office i do. The Mosonic Home office for their Hospice . its a job can't complain .
Tim's CDL school is going good. he is pretty tired when he gets home. Up at 5;30 am drive to Columbus and then home by 7pm a loooong day

Hmm where is everyone this morning??? Another windy day, but got all my plants transplanted into new pots. The lilies I picked up at WinCO were already sprouted and about 3 inches tall. Poor things, wonder if I should go back and get the rest of them??? hmmmmmmmmmmmm 3 in a box for $1.98 not a bad deal, lol.

Cindy, Crissy....I don't like going shopping with Kel. He doesn't stick to the list, and would distract my concentration by asking too many questions, like the kid he is. Each time he picked up somthing that's not on the list, I advised him to tell it goodbye!!
So, he learnt to stay away from me. If it's at WM, he'd go to the movie dept. and bide his time there till I'm ready to check out!

Well, my Employment Insurance hasn't "kicked in" yet. Apparently they're waiting for my record of employment which shows my temp position ended Feb 10th! And they say it can take up to 28 days to pay me once they get the record!!! Having trouble paying my rent & utilities Now! I need about $2500 by the time they "decide" to pay me......... Things are going to be tight........ At least Bob is getting his pay.......

It's difficult to have faith now - even my pastor is upset with me. He pointedly made a comment the other day (while looking at me) that "even I have to remember this church is not my personal playground" as if he were telling me that I'm trying to make the church into my view of what it should be. It hurt -
I'm telling myself that he will not deter me from my stewardship / discipleship and that if no one else is doing the work, then I will. I, after all, have the time to do so........... and no family obligations in this city!

You're doing it for the Lord, Susan, not your pastor.
Maybe he's jealous that he can't do the things you do? Until he got more youth into your church, you know you and Bob be the only one capable of helping out.

Jaye - he's my age (1 mo younger, actually lol ) and we have a few who are Bob's & my age, but they aren't doing what we're doing partly because of work, and partly because they are doing other things (one's the Board Chair and his wife - they do a lot for the church - another donates via $$ and entertainment for our events and that's Very Much Appreciated by all).
I think our pastor's problem is that he can tease, but doesn't like teasing back (I tease right back). He admits that he doesn't forgive easily. We all have challenges in life, and that's his.
I sent him a "joke" email cuz one of the cartoons was something we were laughing about, but I didn't delete the other jokes and the one I was in reference to was at the end. He threatened to "block" my emails. I explained why I sent the email, but I don't think he got over it. A few days later I thought "we can't go on like this" so I sent him a simple "Bless you, God's Kid" cuz that's a running 'thing' in our church - that we're all God's Kids.

At our Bible Study (via video he shows) on Monday someone was talking about how we're all onions, and our layers need to be peeled back so we show our 'true selves' to the world. I made the comment that I too often leave all my 'layers' off and get hurt for it. I hope he 'got' it............

Susan you have more drama at your church than I do at the bar! Sheesh

I don't like shopping with Dave because he sticks to the list too much, he's one of those who has to analyze prices on everything to make sure he's getting the best deal. I like going through and getting everything that I need and like and getting out. He will look at price and ounce/weight for one brand, then the next, then the next, then the next, then make his decision if he really wants to buy that product or not. OMG just buy it if you need it already!! LOL

Crissy - when you 'throw your all' into something, and are as intense as I am, it's no wonder people take things the wrong way - ah well............. eventually this will 'blow over' too. It's not the first time our pastor has 'gotten something up his nose' and it won't be the last..........

Susan, maybe you should NOT do so much, and let the church "miss" you.
Not a selfish request here, but sometimes the church can be mired on earthly things, and forgot that all members are there to serve Him, and put all differences aside.
At Kelvin's dad's church, there are always a couple of cliques that pushed their way to do it all for the church and then make the rest feel incompetent.
One day, a couple of these 'stalwarts' complained that there are no other new ladies stepping up.. to which I replied.. "When I asked whether you need my help, you kept saying it's all under control".
I had to ask, as they have a certain way of doing things and are quick to criticise should one deviate from the norm!!
Well then, I realised, that church is not truly His, just belong to the cliques. That's why I left.
My current church, thank God, doesn't need me as there are plenty of helping hands.

Been busy cleaning out the middle bedroom so I can have a craft room. What irks me is I am paying $28 a month for a storage to put this JUNK in so that I CAN a craft room grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!! I even found a make up bag filled with used tissues!!!! That old woman kept everything and anything.
Only thing I found useful was some beads. Tons of costume jewelery, cat & bird figurines, every kind of curling iron you can think of, scissors of all sizes, oh my gosh just too much JUNK to list it all. Did find a couple of things that will make nice candles for someone ^_^ , now I pooped out and my back hurts. Will tackle it again tomorrow ugh :(

Jaye - I cannot, in all conscience, make some of the church (and God) "miss" me. I will continue to do my stewardship and discipleship - they're my family and duty. I'll just "suck it up" and get on with my life.
I cannot let anyone put me off what I consider the most important part of my church.
Speaking of which - I almost forgot that Saturday is our Ham Dinner, and they start some of the prep work on Thursday (tomorrow)!! The lovely ladies of the UCW love that I help them, and it's important to give them some much needed 'rest'.

Had the MRI yesterday afternoon... said they had to send it off to a radiologist to read it, then he'll send the results to my doc. It could take a few days. In the mean time... the pain is only getting worse. I've never taken so much pain meds in my whole life.

Susan, you just keep on doing what you do best at your church. God sees what's going on...

That's all I can type right now... back to the heating pad...
