LOL Jaye They take me walking/running!!! The two of them together weigh about 80 pounds. Amy is solid muscle, Harlee is featherweight. Doug took then to the orchard and let them RUN!!!!!! Amy found a rabbit and took off after it. She never did catch it, and Doug said when she was tired of chasing it she came back to the car. She slept all afternoon yesterday LOL!!!!

Ok heading OSH to pick up sprayer need to spray all around house and plants the mosquitos are so thick!!!! and HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Must see what other goodies they have ^_^

Susan, I happen to know how to use a staple gun :D Would be the perfect tool to hold down tarp on a sloping roof. But then the water will seep through the upper edge of the tarp!!

Doug is in "church", lol. Every Sunday at 11 am some people show up and Doug spends hours sitting outside and preaching with them. I guess that is what you call it. I don't go to church, but I do BELIEVE in GOD, and I do pray every night. But I can not sit in a church for hours. Only one reason why............I can't hear what is being said or sang, so....................................................

Ah, Cindy I have that weed coming up all over my back yard. I spend hours pulling them up a few days ago and there are a lot more to get rid of. I thought it looked like a clover, rather pretty yellow flowers, but it never stops taking over. Grows better than any flower I put in the ground. Maybe I should sprinkle some of that Preen down and see if that stops them.

It pulls up easy but it's just a PEST in some areas. I left it growing around the aloe but trimmed it back some. I'm hoping the PREEN will work too, I have doubled it in the Iris and Glad bed.

My how a little warm sun can lift a person's spirits!!! Doug went and bought a battery for the motorcycle then took off!!!! First time he has been on it since Sept AND the key was it it the whole time!!! Parked right in the front yard on the sidewalk OMG!! LOL

We have hummers, I put the feeders up yesterday, and this morning they are eating! I will post pictures when I get them.

Yep, they usually come in about early to mid March, so they are right on time!

I planned on putting up the humming bird feeder last week, but I just got as far as cleaning it up. I noticed they like to come around a bush neighbor has in her backyard and right in sight of my kitchen window. Waiting for the pretty purple flowers to appear.

I'm trying to rotter till an area of my garden that is so uneven. Nothing like dry clay dirt flying all over and millions of small rocks to try and get rid of. Starting to look a little better but have a lot more to do. Hoping to get more done today, got myself into a large project this time.

Sue and Cindy, if I go to church I end up sitting there wanting to listen but instead thinking of other things I could be doing and I don't get anything out of it. I figure if He wanted me in church he would have given me the patience and ability to sit and listen instead of daydreaming lol

Lol Pegi, I'm begging for a large project, I don't think we're going to get any freezing weather now, so maybe I'll get into something next weekend.

My green house is up!!! WOW instant heat in there, lol. Picked up some bulbs at WinCo for $1.98, then at BIGLOTS I spotted these little flower pot grow kits for $.88. Spring is in the air here!! Doug is out riding and I'm planting flowers!!! Also got a storage, going to clean out middle bedroom so I can have a craft room. I hate toting it back and forth to my mom's. It seems we are staying here for as long as possible. Going to save, save, save then hunt for "dream" house. Doug's dad has made other plans YAY!!! ^_^, but sure going to miss that extra $1200 a month, oh well I think we are better off not living with him.

Ok time to get some seeds started ^_^

I'm spending less time at the computer right now... except for checking emails, I just can't sit here very long. The position I sit in hurts my neck and shoulder too much.
Yesterday, the doctor put me on some pretty strong pain meds and muscle relaxers... just until I get in for a MRI. The pain goes from the right side of my spine just between my shoulder blades, up my neck, across my right shoulder and down my arm. It's really unbearable at times. The meds dull the pain somewhat, but it really never goes completely away. They do, however, make me sleep a lot, and make me feel loopy.
The good news was my blood pressure was down in the normal range... so it must have been the decongestants that made my BP spike.

Well, I just dropped in to see what everyone is up to... and check on Dylan's arrival. And now I am going to try to find that comfortable position again... and watch a movie, maybe.

Boy BJ, you take care of YOU, no worse pain than that. I know what it is like. Before I had my neck surgery I was in pain like that. Sometimes I still get little kinks but know how to work them out now with simple little exercises.

Kind of windy today, had a rain shower during the night. Hoping to get seeds started today.

Off to BIGLOTS again, this could be dangerous as I am taking Doug with yikes...he likes to spend money more than I do. But I saw a nice dog bed so going to get one for Amy she has outgrown Harlee's hand me down bed, lol. Plus going to pick up more gardening stuff ^_^

Ladies!!! the next time I say" Going shopping with Doug", remind me to leave him home!! OMG!!!! Drove me nuts, just wanted to pick up what we needed and get back home, didn't even go to Lowe's or Home Depot too windy, 25 -30 mph winds. Of course it blew the Green House over, so Doug made some stakes, anchored to the ground better. Now why didn't he do that yesterday, hmmmm???

Cindy, most men are that way, they have a list, and they STICK to it! I hardly ever go shopping with Todd.
