Betty there isn't a reason or purpose, someone said they would work on something tomorrow and they just started singing!

Iye yey yey Entergy (our power company) called Dave and said their bill was returned to them as no known address, they've been sending bills to our house in his name for 4 1/2 years. He doesn't have their phone number and wants to know why I don't have it, why would I have it at work???

She went to the Dr. yesterday for her check up, she is not dilated yet, but that could change any minute. Were still waiting for that call!!!

I have not tried it yet, but going to get the stuff later today!

What a long morning..should have sang your 'tomorrow, tomorrow' and only come in tomorrow Crissy..

Didn't pack anything to bring in with me, watching t.v. and thinking of all I could be doing at home.

Cleaned my sewing and stained glass area because the girls were to have come painting today but Darlene was finding Valentines Day overwhelming so may come tomorow!

1. Bob hasn't heard from the interviewer about the job
2. I haven't hard about the resume I sent in
3. It's been snowing and Bob's out shovelling now - not too much, but just enough for the snow plow to clear the streets in our park (and do a lousy job of it!!! )

I have been in many places, but I've never been in Cahoots. Apparently, you can't go alone. You have to be in Cahoots with someone.

I've also never been in Cognito. I hear no one recognizes you there.

I have, however, been in Sane. They don't have an airport; you have to be driven there.
I have made several trips there, thanks to my friends, family and work.

I would like to go to Conclusions, but you have to jump, and I'm not too much on physical activity anymore.

I have also been in Doubt. That is a sad place to go, and I try not to visit there too often.

I've been in Flexible, but only when it was very important to stand firm.

Sometimes I'm in Capable, and I go there more often as I'm getting older.

One of my favorite places to be is in Suspense! It really gets the adrenaline flowing and pumps up the old heart!
At my age I need all the stimuli I can get!

I may have been in Continent, and I don't remember what country I was in.
It's an age thing.

Life is too short for negative drama & petty things. So laugh insanely, love truly and forgive quickly!
From one unstable person to another... I hope everyone is happy in your head - we're all doing pretty good in mine!

No, Betty, we will not be traveling...the arrangements were made a few weeks ago and the service,a very small immediate family service, is today. Bettie wanted no fanfare, so the extended family will get together this summer to celebrate her memory on her birthday in her garden...her favorite place.

No way of celebrating life than in a garden, especially one she created!!!

Happy Valentine's day everyone. I'm doing OK. Still need to do shelves in the living room but the walls are done and the curtains, too. It looks good except for all the stuff not put away. Got beans coming up in the new garden. I've been washing and painting tires. My knee has been real sore and I still can't lift my right arm above shoulder level. I'll be headed to San Diego the end of the week and see my doctor next Monday. Not much to be done now except wait for the surgery to get scheduled.

We have lots of citrus blooming and my jasmine is in bud. Weather is very nice. Nights are still kind of cold but the dogs help keep me warm. max, the new dog, like to snuggle in the small of my back.

There is so much I would like to be doing both in the house and outside. I take a chunk here and a chunk there and am grateful for being able to to be out and doing something. There is nothing that "needs" to be done so Tony and I are both enjoying life. Lots of gratitude for both of us. My van is still pretty much packed from my trip that was cancelled so it's all good.

A young man who sells shrimp came by today with his wife and son. I've known his wife for about ten years, tony is her uncle. Their son is about three and is the happiest child I've ever known. And I've known lots of children. I gave him a stuffed dragon and we growled at each other. He seems to feel that there is never any reason not to be having a good time. I do my best to follow his example.

After my trip i should have a puter at home again and be able to check in more regularly. I keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers and wish I could send you all some of our spring weather.

Well this day got extremely hectic at 1pm, I have someone chasing me and he came in to visit me for a minute, then mom called and we all know how that can go, then Dave called, then I had to fight with the electric company for a couple of hours off and on, then my mom called again, then my dad's girlfriend called wanting to talk about her broken toes, then my boss called me into his office to ask if it would be ok if we don't get President's Day off if I would mind working it and taking the day another time at my choice, heck yeah I'll do that, I can tack it onto whenever I take vacation and give myself an extra day! Then my mom called again, then my dad called, then Dave called again, now I have a headache and it's time to go home!!!!

Crissy, you've had quite an afternoon, did you finally get the address sorted out. You will be hoarse after gabbing so much today. When is president's day? Couldn't you have asked for 2 days off in place of it and take it , lets see, late June!

Mary, I just have a wicked headache for the most part. I think some of it is "pain killer overload" so trying to clear out the system of that.

Nate called and wanted to come over, so I had some "kid time". He just needed a Mom to talk too....and some Chinese food. lol

I had a somewhat confusing day....however Paul sent beautiful Roses. AND....the child...gave me a pretty necklace for Valentines day.

The child got her tax refund and went to Kay Jewelers. She has got to learn, as much as I appreciate this, that she has to put other things first...and I would have been thrilled with a card. I am NOT ungrateful, she just owes her sister money for car deposit. BUT, she knows.....and hope she takes the next step.

Yes, DH got the flowers from Pro Flowers....I think there are 18..pink, purple, white and yellow. I will be taking more pictures as they open more.

Nate has a bank account, and is getting all his forms ready for college come August/September...so that is good.

DHs physical went well....he has to have some blood work, normal stuff....and a colonoscopy....normal for his age and family history.

Completely understand Debbie....I mean you want to appreciate the gift but as Mom you know she has better things to spend her money on....
That's a tough spot....DS keep blowing his money on stuff and yet his tires are BARE and he has no passenger rear view mirror..... (not sure how that happened?) He is getting $$ a tax return and crossing my fingers that it goes towards getting him driving safely.....

Yeah Mary, our little library is tucked behind the hedgerow and very unassuming. It is also our polling place so at election time they put out a Polls Open sign for folks.

LindaKay, yes some great use of flea market finds..so love to look at the gardens..must admit though, my Canadian Garden could never be as lush seeing as normally the snow is still on the ground late April, so slow start..

Went through a bunch of garden books and brought them in to look at and plan a few areas I've been meaning to get at..fun just doing that..will make a list of things to be on the lookout at garage sales..never anything interesting in my neck of the woods, maybe a scrap metal place might have a few items I'm looking for..

I think I'm just tired and grumpy. I want a good coffee and I have to wait til after work.

Lordy, things got hectic this afternoon and haven't been to lunch..figure if I take lunch now I'll be back at 4:15 and go home at 4:30..might just run downstairs and get a soup because if I eat now I will not want supper and it's ready and waiting for when I get home.

She does not fly with her dogs, because of her spine she cannot show the dogs herself, she trains and participates on the executive boards for American Eskimo but has a trainer..dog travels by vehicle with him..apparently he is attending a few functions but perhaps they will show some of her other dogs??

Crissy - that card was so funny - hit the nail on the head, did he?!?! Good for him then.

Crissy - like you, I'm in a bad mood. I went to the church, got a whole bunch more books written down, preparatory to cataloguing them in Excel, then got home to find a letter from the City's agent saying they have definitely decided they will be closing our trailer park - not in 2012 or 2013. Will give one year's notice and move us to their original site - 1/2 way across the city!!
This in addition to the cracking ceiling/wall joints in our trailer because the property is settling. I called the City yesterday and told them they have to jack up our trailer and they said levelling of it is our responsibility. I told them NO, that our trailer was levelled Years ago, and if the land is settling, it's the City's responsibility, so There! They're sending someone out to look at the property, and then they'll asses the damage.

A friend of ours gave me a book this morning, called A Touch Of Hope, by Helen Steiner Rice. When I called her about the letter from the City (she lives in the same park), she said to read the book. It helped, but made me a bit teary. I'm so upset/angry at the city. The other day our outdoor breaker tripped for our power - it seems everything is going wrong.............

Not sure any of you got to see it but I'm a proud sister..what an achiement..top American Eskimo in Canada and in USA...was really nice to see!
