Still don't understand why it's in chewing gum
What's for dinner?
The stripers here are hybrids that do better in warmer waters than in the upper northeast and I don't think they will taste as good, but I will take your suggestion to go where the fishermen are and ask to buy some.

How close we're the tornadoes, vv? So awful.
My friends in GA are having tornado sirens going off there, too
do those people get tornado insurance?
We had a blast of hail at around 5:45 pm, but nothing else but a lot of rain. I think we were very fortunate that was all.
In southern IN, just north of Louisville (where I work), they weren't so lucky. All the national news reports this morning have been focused on Henryville, and that area has just been obliterated. A number of people were killed there, and they are still trying to get to places currently inaccessible because of the storms.
I drove home early (4:30ish) and was watching storms to the north and south of I-64 on the way back east to the Valley. The storm that smashed southern IN moved eastward and nailed a bit of northern KY and then a piece of southern OH. What a mess.
Another line of storms moved eastward south of the Valley (south of I-64) and hit a number of communities in eastern KY. Particularly hard hit was West Liberty, with the tornadoes arriving just as darkness fell. KY National Guard contingent has been sent there, which has even worse accessibility issues because of the town's location in the Appalachian foothills.
Finally - even further south in KY - another damaging storm targeted the London/Corbin area. I haven't heard many reports about the current conditions there. Weather.com is supposed to have more specifics.
So far, the reports list 12 dead in KY. Pray for those that have a lot of problems to deal with today.
How horrible! Prayers being sent for all in the path of these storms. Stay safe VV.
Just so terribly sad! Prayers & hugs for all of you in that area!
So horrible, vv. I donated to Red Cross yesterday.
Roast chicken, baked squash, pea's & corn, garlic mashed, cranberry, stuffing, loaf of white yeast bread and brownies for dessert.
A whole loaf of bread????
I donate to these guys, wasn't happy with how Red Cross spends their $
