Most of the time. We were away today, but watched tonight. I want to get the equestrian on NBC sports tomorrow morning.
Sports Talk!! Part 8 Spring Training Edition
Pretty much....I like the swimming, gymnastics, & rowing....
I am, have been watching since I was a kid. Love the gymnastics and we record it so the girls can watch it in the morning.
beach volleyball:)
I have always watched also.
Lots of glitches - empty seats, hardly any live coverage, skipping certain parts of the opening, etc.
Swimming and gymnastics
My son was getting into it this year
Noticed last night they never posted a score, and of course, as always, questioning the scoring on the women's gymnastics
How about that 16 yr old Chinese female swimmer with the ludicrous winning time?? You know they are doping.
Don't they have mandatory testing? Maybe something that's not showing up in the test
It's always a cat and mouse game with new drugs.
I watch whenever I can. Taped the eventing- cross-country as I was at work.
"the part holding the medal's string broke"
Must have been made in china
LOL! Good one, Jen.
Last time Olympic gold medals actually made of gold was 1912!
What are they....plastic?
Chocolate.
Don't they wish.
I was able to watch the equistrian event this morning.
Ludicrous that NBC had Twitter suspend the account of a vocal critic!
do they own twitter?
No 'free speech' today! Not really.....
Don't look now, but the Red Sox have won 3 in a row!
No, they don't own them.
you know it is bad when you post about a 3 game win streak - on a better note yanks have lost 8 of last 11
So how do they have the power to suspend an account at a different company?...it's not a $ issue
They asked and Twitter did it.
weird
Their 'justification' was that the reporter tweeted the email address of the NBC exec. However, it was his public, corporate email, easily found with a basic search.
Twitter reinstated the guy's acct.
Hey Wha - did I say 3 games in a row? I meant 4!
Badminton scandal!!
$9K tax bill from the IRS if you win a gold medal. Nice thank you.
That's an interesting piece of news, Victor. I read the Washington Times article on that and didn't realize that gold medal winners also received $25,000 in cash and that the gold value in the medal is only about $675. That means there is only about 1/3 an ounce of gold in those gold medals.

Incredible run for Phelps! Wow.
Yes, wonderful way to finish a career......
I agree with Michael Johnson regarding the amputee with the spring-loaded blades in the 400. Unfair advantage.
Isn't that why there is a Para-olympics?
Used to be!
he is also going to the para-games - makes no sense. Sports Illustrated had an interesting story on the controversy of if he has an advantage or not in the last issue. it got into the bio-mechanics of running, stride length, and foot pressure. it is pretty clear he is not equal to a normal elite runner and think he does have an advantage.
still pretty incredible technology has us even discussing this.
True - no argument there. The energy-boosting ability of those blades makes it unfair.
