btw - Bob's going to apply to an Industrial temp company, and if he can't get perm, they May be able to keep him busy as a temp. He'll apply on Monday, and also to Lowe's and Home Depot (both right in our neighbourhood, too!)

Last night at about 11:pm mom had a seizure or small stroke ,they are running test this afternoon. I don't want my mom to die ,but I don't want her to live in this prison she has been in for the last 2 years since she had her big stroke either....... I think her heart is just SOOOOO bad that it has worn out ~~~~ I would not want to live like she has had to live ! But I have put it in the Lords hands and even though I will be sad because no matter what she is my mom ,but what ever he sees fit for her is good for me. And I guess if she would die there would be some relief (I know that sounds bad and I feel horrible for even saying or thinking it) but I would have that burden of guilt off of my back that I can't fix her . It's funny that no matter how old you are, if and I guess more so when you lose a parent you have that orphan feeling.......Talk about a roller coaster of emotions and feelings !

The Rotisserie Chicken was to die for .............. OMG....LOL. I think tomorrow I'll make a pork roast !

Susan wish you and Bob lived around here ,with the oil and gas that has been found in the area they are looking to hire 300 to 500 office workers with opening up offices all over to handle the data coming in from all the wells. Prayers ,Hugs and Good Luck to you both !!!!

((((((((Synda)))))))) no, hon, you're not a bad person for saying this - just more upfront (notice I didn't say "honest" because that's never an issue) than some who think it. It's difficult to Anyone to go through what she & you are, and it may be a blessing in disguise if she does go to the Lord now, but as you say, it's in His hands.
I just have my mom left, and I know I'd feel orphaned if she were to go, but she's almost 93, so I suppose it's a possibility, too.

Well mom will be 68 come march 5th ,but she has been through hell since 1999 with her heart and then the stroke in Sept 2009 .........I turned 49 last Sept and feel I should have on my big girl panties and be able to deal with it.

Synda - our oil & gas is Alberta's main industry, too - and construction is the 2nd industry.
Apparently both industries are getting back their 'boom time" just now, so this Really may be a blessing in disguise.

I know what you mean - I'm 57, so I'm wearing my big girl panties................. lol

Well the Lord puts us together for a reason ,even if we can't touch each other with our hands ,no one on this earth can't stop us from touching each other with our hearts ............ and I hold "You All" dear to mine !!

Synda your not alone feeling that way. When my Dad had his stroke 11 years ago, we were all torn between him living or dying. We all prayed thatbthe lord take him home if it was his will. We did not want to see him suffer anymore. We knew if he survived the strokes, that he would be like a 4 year old the rest of his life, and no one wants to go throu that, but that is what we were left with, and now we help him all we can.

well, LK - everyone has a chance at a job....... Bob's just gonna contact them and see if they has a temp job for him. One always Hopes that he finds one that is "good all-around" for them and he.

Hello, hello, hello, Ray is home and doing amazing. To see him,you would never know he has been so sick. God is so good! Thank you all for all the prayers. Ray went from a blocked Kidney,& Congestive Heart Failure then to surgery all in 1 week and is home doing great. I am so happy to have him home. There's more that has made me extremely happy today...dear sweet Mandy came and got to the Hospital before Ray went home. Had a great visit...OH Mandy, hurry back!

I'm so happy to hear Ray is home, Faye, more prayers for complete healing. What a miracle!! ((((Hugs)))) He surely has gone through a lot.

Thank you all for your prayers. I know prayer is the reason we are home now. Ray hasn't had to have pain meds. all day. That too is a miracle. God is so good to us.

Faye, Thank God, Ray is home and on the mend!! prayers answered fr sure.

I've been busy sewing!! Making a quilt for Brian and Brittany's baby!! She gave me 4 plaid dress shirts, 2 plaid flannel shirts 2 favorite t shirts, 1-white, 1 black and 2 baseball caps.

So far this is what I've made:

B is for Butterfly, Disappearing 9Patch, for a border, Teddy Bear (using idea of Dads plaids block, Stroke of genius!! Windmill using ball cap pieces The "c" will go in the center of windmill , plaid and t-shirt...Will be making one in green too! Oh and Also will be making a block with our Company logo...Planning on a bird house block!

LOL, so I've been getting lost in the construction of the blocks...

Wanted to pick a date that the snow would be gone, and flowers blooming so here is what I came up with..regardless of what date I pick it won't be the best for all so had to pick one as before you know it, you'll be Canadian bound..some will have to get passports...I'm just too excited for words..now I can start planning for 1/2/3 or 100 lol

June 28th, 29th, 30th, Canada Day-July 1st and July 2nd

Gives you all time to get home in time for your July 4th

ALL welcome , door are open ..just love company!

With great friends in the area, there isn't a sole that will need accommodation, those of you who know my friends will know you will be treated like royalty..nothing but the best..lol Eats will be provided by my , those of you who know about my cooking ability will know I'll have help..
