Indeed Susan, l'm feeling the love!!

That's too far, and Kel's working this weekend LK. Yep, if we're living closer it would be fun catching craft shows!

If Kniles Davis is suited, Crissy---- It will be a blow out!
Arkansas 77
KSU 3

Charleen, thank you. I'll let Kel know. That poodle looks like Jamie's Inky. Hambone's just given a big ham bone and he's too poop to bark at the cats!!

(Pegi) Norwalk, CA(Zone 10b)

I can just see the smile on Jaye's face as she opens all her presents. A present a day, love it!!! So glad Hambone came home, he knows where he is appreciated. LOL

So many to add the the prayer list. Praying all goes well with Faye's hubby and sorry about Betty's friend hubby passing away at just too young an age. May you all have peace in your heart.

How have you been Pegi? You must still be enjoying beautiful weather there. Are your plumerias still blooming?
Love my booties Pegi. Thank you!

I LOL'd Susan!! That kid's a smart Alec. Matter of interpretation right? Just like that Mac Donald applicant that answered "often" when asked of 'sex' !!

Well Crissy, Arky Hogs represented SEC well!! It would be a blow out if Knile Davis had played.
29-16 isn't shabby, considering Skip Bayless kept blasting on ESPN that the Big 12 offense is unstoppable.
That was a nice shout out to that athlete that passed away.

Think this is the second bowl game I managed to watch. The other was when Baylor had a shoot out! It's good to watch any games without Kel around! Can't hear the commentaries with him shouting over the tv!!

Good night sistahs.. love to all.

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

Glad you liked it, Jaye - we all need a bit of comic relief now and then LOL

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

I agree SIS!

Morning everyone! Coffee is ready! How about some english muffins today. Lots of jams or cream cheese for the toppings!

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Morning LK, Sis. Thanks for the muffins. Think I'll take mine with lots of cream cheese and honey! :D

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

don't hold back sis, tell us how you REALLY feel. lol

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

LOL - proud of you sistahs, for speaking out!!
Yeah, we in Canada get the same "Benefits"................. like....... NONE. And we pay for our "Social Insurance" too.

Jaye Davis got hurt and was out all season during the first practice before the season ever started, I knew he wasn't going to be playing, we were never supposed to do good this season without him, we lost 2 games, one to LSU and one to Alabama and we finished ranked 7th. I don't get that. That's why I went low on my winning score guess, we lost 2 key players during the season, one got hurt and one passed away, Davis never played a single game all season, and a coordinator quit between the last game and the bowl.
I couldn't really hear the game, we go to our home away from home bar and watch it with 30 other people that we 'know' and scream and yell and raise all kinds of hell and eat all of the manager's free food. We had 4 biker dudes, they were probably in their mid 60's, come in, there are 4 bars in a row where that bar that we frequent is, they said they were at every bar and they were all quiet, everyone just sitting around watching the game, they come into Crosswalk's and it's got a VERY loud crowd AND free food! They said that they were looking for some noise, I told them that this is probably the noisiest bar in Hot Springs. We had the tv's cranked up too and we still couldn't hear and we were sitting right in front of the best big screen in the house.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

I can't voice what I really feel, Sis Kathy, for fear I might be censored!!

Susan, politics is never clean. Just as dirty as the oldest errr, 'career'.

Sue, I had to remove my sweats and turn off the heat completely!! That's why my sinuses are still in a yoyo!!
I bookmarked the site, Sue. Thank you, she's into healthy and I'm heading that way this year.
As for freezing tofu, that's news to me. I'll have that in mind when Tofus go on sale, which is rare. I love tofus!

Crissy, I thought that Knile would be suited up, as he's reported to 'maybe' play last night. At least you got a good QB!
Next year will be tough for the SEC if all the teams get on par with LSU and Bama with their defense. We shan't worry too much on Vandy or Ole Miss.. but we will have Mizzou and Texas A&M to battle with.
Somehow I can't get into a game when there are too many noises. I prefer sitting quietly and just clench my teeth, until touchdown!!
Good that you had a great time on a memorable night.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

LK, thank you so much for your wonderful, thoughtful gifts!!!

Sistahs, LK had gifted me with this beautiful wall hanging "Amazing Grace".
I love the colors!!!
She puts it all together herself, and the border of this masterpiece has Grecian squares embroidered all around.
She even made a sleeve on the back, where I could slip in a rod.
LK, I told Kel that it will be hanging in our bedroom.

With her hurting hand, she persisted in finishing the wall hanging just to put a smile on my face.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

The size of the wall hanging is like a lap size throw. Got lots of space on one wall of our bedroom, LK.
Kel says thank you too.

She also gave me these Texas pot holders and a brand new bible!!!
New King James Version, and the cover!!! She made a cover for it. See the pretty angel/fairy embossed....and she sewed not one but TWO page markers!!!
How talented our LK is!
LK, you were worried whether it's the right version. When I was studying along with the Navigators, it's John Mac Arthur NKJV that I used.
When my best friend got baptised, I gave her my old bible and never got another NKJV. Instead, I went from KJV to NIV and ESV.
I'm so glad to be reunited with the translation I'm very familiar with.
Your gifts are God inspired, and I can't tell you enough how much that bible means to me. Love you LK.

Again, I will emphasize that this box is actually God's intervention!!
He knows the precise time I'll be needing it, and you my sistahs have pulled me from total despair.
Thank you.

How beautiful Jaye and so thoughtful of LindaKay. She is remarkable - I agree. It's so nice to "see" the smile when you post. You are so loved my friend....

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

And these are what they came in!! The material used to wrap LK's presents is a party tablecloth.
The wall hanging is wrapped to simulate a candy!!

Thumbnail by heavenscape
TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Thank you Barb.
I know you all brought some peace to our marriage too.
Lately, I've been much more calm, no flying objects around the house.. the cats are not hiding either!

Kel's not much help, and he's torn between me and MIL. I never made him choose as he loves his father.
At least he finally recognize the deep depression caused. He's been walking on eggshells!! Poor guy.

Emotions can play havoc, I know. Living here isolated and in enemy territory, my biggest fear is I'll be shelved in a corner, unheard.

There's this serious want to return to my old self, and put some sparkle in my eyes. Not glazed.

With the Lord's help and beloved sistahs, my journey will be easy.

But I'm gaining strength bit by bit, thanks to you all, the phone calls, my sister's daily calls, the cards.
I feel your prayers lifting me up. Thanking God for you all.

Now, in my devotions, I have a new armwrap shawl, a new devotional and a new bible!! ^_^

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Robin, are you Pebbles' Mama?
Lola poses in her new sweater. The blue is almost purple. Perfect LSU colors.
Lola loves to dress up.
Thank you so much!!

Glad to hear you both like the wall hanging Jaye! Glad to hear you like that version of the Bible. That is the only one at the store when I was looking for one. We all love you, and don't ever forget it!

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Thank you again LK! It's not a party box, it's a Miracle Box ^_^

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

:)

(Barb) Manchester, NH(Zone 5a)

Happy Sunday to you Jaye. Hope today is a cheery one!!!!

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

That is one tough looking "hefphlant" as my kids used to say!!

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

thats BIG AL. how are you maid m?

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Arrrgghhh I overslept!!! Missed church and the chance to show off my bible and goodies!! Serves me right for having vain thoughts!!
Why did I stay up to watch that Saints' game against the confused Lions!! Oh well, I can have church at home.

Afternoon sistahs!!

Lord willing, no hiccups today, Barb! Bless you for worrying about me.

How are you doing Marion? Kids don't fear an oversize faux elephant don't they?
Yep, it's countdown to LSU/Bama: 1 day, 8 hours.
Might see a real meltdown here on the sistahs thread! Lolol.

Sis, keep continuing to taunt me. Remember numbers don't lie.
LSU has won the SEC Conference title. We're at 13-0 and has made Bama squirmed in your own backyard, and exposed your weakness.
You may have your Trent Richardson, but we're very deep on defense and play for 4 quarters!
Yes, these two are the BEST in college football, but remember, if Bama won, you'll be the first that NEVER won in its' own conference to fully represent SEC. Poor Chokiehomas :(

Tomorrow's loss will cause depression for Alabama fans. I don't recommend consuming prozac or other pharmaceuticals produced in chemical plants. (Would you like me to send some?)

Actually we should be fearing the Arky Hogs next year. Have you seen them play in their bowl against Kansas State?
They will be a force to reckon with once Tyler Wilson mastered consistency in his throws. Their defense is up there and as much as I can't stand Bobby Petrino, he will lead his team to another year of top rank!

I'm tempted to post some provoking pictures, Sis. But you've already eaten crow once, and I don't want to humiliate you anymore, cause I still love you.
Michael, I pray for peace for you brother cause tomorrow Sis Kathy will be devastated and unconsolable :D

ETA: Will always love you Sis!!

michael says to tell you that we watch the game in different rooms on different tvs. also, when you lose he can sleep in the trailer so he can't hear me laugh.

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

Ha Jaye! Bobby Patrino is the best thing that has happened to the Hogs in years, Looks like Houston Nutt will be coaching Memphis. That poor team!

So sorry you missed church! That's a bummer. My church was walmart this morning, my whole purpose to going was to pick up my birth control pills a Kroger and I forgot!!! Oh well, not driving back, it's too far, will pick them up after work tomorrow I guess. BLAH!

Looking forward to seeing LSU play Bama! That should be a good game!

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Just tell Dave you got a headache, tonight!!! Lol!!
Yah Crissy, it's NFL lite tomorrow. Don't intend to cook, but got some pork chops marinating, Kel will most probably want some wings too. For libations, his Mountain Dew and I'll get drunk on molasses and milk!
The game is only about 2-3 hrs. long, yet we eat for 8!
It will be a long wait.

Sis Kathy, tell Michael he won't be sleeping in a different place. He's more than welcome to celebrate LSU's victory here!!

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

I am fine sistahs--just came back from purchasing medical supplies to put on the wounds tomorrow night--ever which one will need them. Bottle of Jack Daniel to help the pain. LOL

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

You'll need to send a case of JD, Bessameer's way, Marion!

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

......and just "what if" I need to send something Tabor City way? LOL Now I "ain't" saying any will be necessary to go either way. How is that for slipping through?

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Lolol!! It will sure chase the post football season blues, Marion!!

Ehem, Sis, we try to resuscitate Al after the K.O by Tiger Mike! Sorry.. it was too much for his heart!

Thumbnail by heavenscape
(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)
