They are all good Susans ^_^
Prayed for your brother too, Susan!
♥Sweet Interruptions # 232♥
LOL I can't remember how to do a smily face, and copied it - LOL shows up tiny when you click on it, and large here LOL
Thank you all for all the Prayers ......mom went into the hosp last night ,( my youngest brother stopped in to check on her and found her with blue lips and fingers ,stepdad said he'd call the dr in the morning he didn't think she was that bad.......)and they kept her because she was Septic and now they moved her to the Cardio Intensive Care Unit because they found fluid around her heart. So hopefully they can get all this under control soon. As far as my stepdad ,older brother and sister in law , ......well the only thing I can think of is a Louisville Slugger......
a40 cent bullet would work better
This is from Faye...
Good Morning everyone. Only have a minute and want to thank each of you for your prayers. It is prayer that has kept Ray and me going. Dear friend Susan, thank you so much for being my voice and caring. Love you all.
Strange, but twice now Ray has been saved because of Kidney Stones. I know it was the hand of God. The first time Kidney Stones led to the cancer in his kidney. This time the the Kidney Stone pain led the Dr.'s.. to find his heart problem. Had I taken Ray home when he was supposed to go, he may not be alive today. Ray got sick at the Hospital after his release papers had been signed. By staying another night, the Dr.'s found his heart trouble. Goodness, if I had time I would like to vent about this entire week. Like when Ray went home last Fri. and had to go back to the Hosp. early Sat. morning.
As far as I know now, Ray is still on go for surgery tomorrow. Depending on how stable his heart & lungs are tonight and early tomorrow a m. Please keep Ray in your prayers, this surgery is going to be tough.
Have to feed my four footed sons and get back to the Hospital.
Love & Hugs, Faye
Synda, to make the smily face... ^_^ Hold down the shift key and then press 6_6. It will look like this ^ _ ^ but with no space.
My surgery is going to be on the 20th. The reason I will be in the hospital so long is because I can't have the laproscopic one. I guess they inflate the stomach when they do it that way which would push against the diaphragm and that would compromise my already bad breathing. So it is the open surgery I need to have and why I will be in the hospital so long. recovery will be slow too but I will make it and be fine.
Understand Barb. I had the open surgery also and yes, you will be just fine. Will be with you all the way--not physically but still there!
Synda I would have knocked my step-dad's block off. Big big big hugs to you!!
Barb just saying, I had laproscopy surgery done when I had my Appendicitis, it was horrible!! That Co2 they put in didn't go away for 3 weeks, I couldn't wear normal clothes and I can't come to work in sweats. I've had surgeries and personally I would rather have the regular. Glad they're getting that out finally and you will feel SOOOOOOO much better when it's gone. My mom had hers removed about 7 or 8 years ago I guess, the only thing she complains about is eating roughage, it runs right through her, but that could be just her. lol
Jaye I watched the game too and LSU doesn't play that bad, ever. Don't know what was wrong with JJ other than he had too many the night before, ok, I don't know that, but he was sure confused, beyond bad. Saban is a hell of a coach, remember when he was at LSU they could do no wrong, just like Bama is now. When he went to the NFL and decided he would rather coach 'kids' and came back I was sooooo hoping Arkansas would grab him up, but we got almost just as good, Patrino. Yes, the Razorbacks hopefully will be a force to be reckoned with next year.
Sue I've been super super busy too, I feel your pain. Glad Tim took him to the game, that gives you some relief.
I think I've almost got it winded down though, the beginning of next week is going to be busy but after that I should be done with this end of year stuff.
Hhhmmmmm I'm getting a headache.
Hi...
So glad you are enjoying the CD's Jaye!!
Crissy and Sue, it will be nice when things slow down for you.
Well it's snowing big now. Started at 9, it's pretty to watch.
I've been working on cutting shirts and t-shirts for a quilt. So, just trying to figure a layout. Liz told me about Disappearing 9 patch, so will see if I have enough to play with that.
glad you got your appointment Barb!
Sending up prayers for Ray.
also for Synda's MOM.
Hope you all have a good day...Please be careful in your travels, rain/snow.
See you later.
^_^
I'm so sorry I have been MIA for so long....dealing with this family I could just scream. And I was taught if you don't have something nice to say don't say anything, and believe me I have NOTHING nice to say ...LOL
Went to the hosp today and step-daddy was there ,YAY ! He had called me yesterday morning and asked if I wanted to go up with him as they all know I don't have a car since the truck is on it's last leg and Rick takes the car to work .Well I told him I had an appointment that was set up a few weeks ago for a guy to come and talk about the mineral rights and I couldn't not be here. That @$$ told mom that he had asked me and I just said I didn't want to come up,boy did I jump him the instant I walked into moms room and mom just looked at him like what the heck .She can't talk since she had her stroke. Here I go ,I could go on and on .I guess that's why I haven't been here cause I wasn't even sure in my own mind where to start.........
Prayers for Ray and Faye and all in need......... ♥
I had my Gallbladder taken out about 5 1/2 years ago ,but I didn't have stones ,the gallbladder had just stopped working. It was same day surgery and then I just laid around the house for about 2 1/2 - 3 weeks and then was go to go !
I sure wish I could have the day surgery one for gall bladder removal. But it is not to be so I will deal with what I must. I thank you all so much for all your prayers. They mean so much to me and i am so grateful.. I'm sure the good Lord hears them and the I will be just fine....
Again, LK, thank you for posting that. Lord certainly was with Ray the whole time. Nothing are coincidences for His kids.
This group of sistahs are so compassionate. When one hurts, we all hurt as well.
Thank God, for His great gift of prayers. Just praying for our hurting sistah somehow brings us comfort us well for we know He'll do what's best for the ones we pray for.
Synda, I LOL when Sis Kathy suggested a 40c bullet!! Please don't take it serious!!! There's no cure for selfish or stupid people!
Barb, as Marion had said, me too will be with you in spirit. Goodness, if we all could appear physically, your nurse will put a limit to how many visitors you're allowed PER 10 minutes!!!
So, you'll be admitted on the 19th? And have the surgery the following morning?
Crissy, I'll say this. That was the most embarrassing play of the season. Yes Saban outcoached Miles, he knew beforehand that Jefferson would be the qb. Saban was prepared for that run option! Miles played CONSERVATIVELY. One game plan!! Shovel passes???
You saw how that worked? Pissed me off when Miles stubbornly refused to put Jarrett Lee in for at least a throw downfield. JL's sacks in the season is LESS than JJ.
We're losing elite WRs next year. They had said that they won't be leaving early, but after that tragedy, they've decided to go for the draft. Need to know more, call me!!!
Yes Marion.. Sis Kathy, I'm still b##t hurt!!!! Well, at least I'm getting some passion back, eh?
...and it tis good to see the passion returning!
Synda, go ahead and rant, that is what were here for. Let it out!
Yes Marion, it is so good to see the passion returning to Jaye!
Yep I'm Pebbles mamma, Lola looks adorable in her new sweater. It's gonna keep that sweetie pie warm.
Fruity just said she got a text from Faye, no surgery for Ray tomorrow.
Thanks Marion. One day at a time. Thank you chemicals!!
Robin, you certainly know how much I love Lola!!
Thanks LK. As I had said, ceaseless prayers going up for Ray. I know Faye has a good support group that she can fall back on.
Morning everyone!
Good Morning, LK!
Morning sistahs!
Susan, did you manage to repair the damage to the tiled floor?
LK, what are you up to today? Keep us posted on Ray's condition, will you?
Synda, any new news on your mum this morning?
Had to take painkillers last night, as stupid me tried to move the washing machine!! Yep.... lack of commonsense there. One of the cats decided to play hide and seek in the back, and didn't want to seek!! Could have thought of spraying water on it first!! Lolol.. if I'm paid a penny for stupid actions, I'll be a zillionaire by now.
Not much going on, I think today will be a good day to grab a book, starting with Love Wins.
Head is clear, no pounding headache, so I know I can comprehend more than 5 pages!!
But first I have to head to town!!
Love to all, have a fantastic day sistahs!
jaye, this bit of news should cheer you up.
bama's 3 best players are leaving for the nfl
uptower
kilpactrick

went to get my thyroid test yesterday, meanwhile my daughter calls from the er, she has a kidney stone, and the school called, poor kaden was sick and needed to be picked up. oh what to do? called michael asked him to leave work and drive an hour to pick kaden up and babysit until i got there. thankfuly he didn't mind and took very good care of him.
Jaye - I haven't been home long enough to scrape the glue off the bottom of the tiles.
Last night I was to go to choir practice, and stayed home on the couch - my tummy was feeling "off" and I didn't move all night off the couch....
Sis, the underclassmen entering NFL Draft:
#2 Reuben Randle WR Jr (waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah)
#10 Russel Shepard WR Jr (waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah)
#17 Morris Claiborne CB Jr (waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah)
#90 Michael Brockers RS Sophomore (waaaaaaaaaaaaaah)
We have 20 seniors that will be gone, including JL and JJ. I'm HAPPY no more Jordan Jefferson's who is Miles golden boy.
We'll just sit back and watch Ole Miss, Vandy and Arky beat us. Sure don't want Auburn or Ga.!!
Hope it's nothing serious with Kaden.
kaden has a stomach virus. keeps pooping his pants, poor kid. his tummy hurts.
No different news on mom , but I guess no news is good news.I told her yesterday that I probably wouldn't be back up to see her ,as in I don't have a car and we got the snow they were calling for.
But I bought myself a present ,A George Foreman Infared Countertop Oven / with a Rotisserie ,and I am making a chicken........ looks yummy ,so we will see !!!!!
Synda,,that looks good! Where did you buy it?
Amanda posted on another thread, said she talked to Faye, and Raye was going to have surgery this afternoon.
I ordered it from here Linda Kay http://www.ginnys.com/
http://www.ginnys.com/Kitchen-and-Dining/Appliances/George-Foreman-Infrared-Countertop-Oven-and-Rotisserie.pro?fpi=78616&catCd=JI
And all I can say is we may have to have chicken everyday ........LOL .......OMG ,it is soooooooo good , I put Hickory Smoked Buffalo Wing dry rub on it !!!!!!!!!!!! I also bought a pork roast to do on the rotisserie also.
my DH got some bad news today - go figure..... it's Friday the 13th...
He got let go from his new job, at 2:30 today. He's only worked there for just over a month, but one of the bosses (Nicole) doesn't like Bob. Nicole's boss likes my Bob, and he said if something changes and she's no longer there, then my Bob will get his job back. However, she's been there for 5 years and I don't suppose she'll be leaving the company.......
Last May, on Friday the 13th is when Bob lost his last job.......
Susan I'm so sorry to hear that sending Hugs and Prayers for you and Bob !!! Hopefully he will find something else soon !!!!!
I got some "possible" good news today....... the head guy in Calgary, John, came to tell me that it's been approved by Montreal to have my position become perm, now it's Washington's and then Paris' decision. If either of them don't want it perm, it will stay temp for awhile longer, As John said "it's stuck in Washington now". The decision is to be made by Feb 10th.
Wish things would settle down in our household....... I want some boring, day after day, long term boredom jobs LOL Anything to keep both of us employed.......... siiiiiiiiiiigh
edited ,posted on wrong thread .....LOL

Morning everyone! Coffee is ready!
Susan, sorry to hear about Bob, but glad to hear maybe good news for you?
Synda, what did you say??? LOL!
Update from Faye...
Hello dear friends Thank you all for your good wishes and prayers. Ray did have the surgery late Friday afternoon, against the better judgment of the...can't spell him..the guy that put him to sleep & kept him sleep for surgery. Ray was told just before surgery that the fear was that he would wake up in ICU because of the congestive heart failure. Praise God, that didn't happen and I pray it won't. Ray is coughing worse and it's said that's coming from the heart trouble. Susan I'm sorry for the text instead of a call, it has been so hard for me to talk to anyone without crying. I love you lady and do thank you for handling the news for me. I do hope you and Mandy can come. I would love it and I know Ray would.
Thank you Mandy for the call, and do keep on calling and come.
I' tired and I'm happy that the surgery is over. Have to feed my boys now, finish laundry, shower then to bed so I can be @ hospital early in the morning.
Love & hugs
Faye
Good morning!
Praise the Lord for the bit of good news, LK. We shall continue to pray for healing and for strength, and may Ray's and Faye's dependance on our Lord continue.
I don't know where Amanda lives, but Susan will have a long way to travel. If I could, I would, she's about 3 - 4 hrs. from me (I think).
Susan, I am so sorry to read of Bob's dismissal. His time will come for a better job. I can't understand people that don't look at the work quality an employee gives.
Hope Washington and Paris approves of your permanent position. Hugggsssss Sistah.
Synda, thats nice!!! Let us know how the pork roast does.
You could also do smaller birds, like quails. Ooh la la.. Ric dining high class now!! No more fried chickens!!
Have a good day everyone.
Neener posted, that Ray is up and walking this morning, no oxygen and may go home soon!
Praise God for answered prayers!
Hallelujah!!! I'm dancing in my chair LK!! Praise God! Praise God!
