Awesome pictures Al. If I change my name to Charley, can I go too??????

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

^_^ Is that growing in your yard now?

I have easter lily, tulips and daffodils coming up. Hope they can recoup after the cold snap we always get late March early April.

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

Yes, and this one too.

We made it home safely, visited a few good friends, even stopped by to see Charleen and Charley along the way! Beautiful trip with lots of flowers in bloom, enjoyed eating some "real" tomatoes.

Good Morning All - beautiful day here in NY, think I'll stay home for a while! I'm still shopping for seeds, not planting anything just yet - though I did bring back an indoor lemon tree from Florida to pot up. I don't see it putting the grocery store out of business anytime soon, and the lemonade stand idea looks a long way off.

We have several eaglecams around my area. They close off the area below the dam from November to March to let the eagles hatch their eggs. There are quite a few here. You see them setting high in the trees, on telephone posts or in flight. They are just beautiful!!!!! Here is a link that shows 2 eagles nests 'live' where you can watch them.

One of the parents is feeding 3 newly hatched chicks right now!

Hi all hope you are all doing well.. The temps are up and down here and the daffodils and narcissus are blooming along with the hyacinths..I love to see things starting to bloom it lets me know spring is just around the corner.. I have even seen some white irises blooming here but none of mine are ready to bloom yet but I know it wont be long....

Hornell, NY(Zone 5a)

Hi Gang - sorry, been off for a while visiting daughter Becky in Rochester. She's still doing well while expecting triplets in April. Will probably need lots of gramma help soon after delivery, so we'll likely be traveling back and forth.

Still picking over the seed racks, lots of tomatoes in store for spring .

Al

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

Al, don't forget Charley wants pictures when the triplets are born. This is his first Triplets....

Sundance, WY(Zone 3b)

Can't wait to see pictures of the triplets!! And yes, I am sure she will want Grandma help! I know how busy I was helping when our daughter had the twins! I can't imagine triplets!!

Sand Springs (Tulsa), OK(Zone 7a)

WOW Al.....triplets! She probably will need Grandpa help too!!!

I have jonquils coming up, but they are not blooming yet. I am going to make a new iris bed when the weather and my body permits. I have lots of iris I collected last year and have in pots to put in it. I can't wait to get them planted. They are doing GREAT in the pots! I wish I had some crocus planted throughout the yard. They are so pretty and dainty, especially when you see the colors peeking up through the snow.

I wanted to share a picture where I am 'growing a dog'. lol Bobbi likes to lie in the sun, but the ground was too cold, so she gets up in the planter. lol DH made the trellis for me and spelled 'peace' that way intentionally, because our yard is so peaceful. It is our haven. In the summer I plant cypress vine in the pot and it grows onto the trellis.

Here she is, daughter Becky looking almost as big as the rest of us! She's small to begin with now only on month #5. I wanted to show the sonograms, but the file wouldn't unzip from my email. They're clearly labled A, B, And C. A is a boy about 1.5 lbs, B is a girl about 2.0 lbs and C is also a boy about 2.0 lbs.

Happy Sunday All - sorting out my seeds today, will start planting tomatoes and peppers next month. Found my favorite Tumbler tomato seed while in the city last week, I use this one only for large containers and baskets but it's very prolific and tastes good, too

Have a great week!

We had Livy over the weekend to give Becky a couple of days of much needed rest. Dear Lord she's getting huge! We're hopefully in the home stretch, maybe make it until April 1st. Dr. wants her to eat lots of food and drink milkshakes for calcium and extra fat (never told ME that!). I could taste a Shamrock shake right now.

Al

Sand Springs (Tulsa), OK(Zone 7a)

nettie, the walking iris are doing great! I have them in a pot and am trying to decide what to do with them. I have forgotten. They are for hanging baskets? I didn't remember whether to put them in the ground or what! LOL Glad you mentioned them.
