You & Patti both.....not mine, but at least they aren't snow-covered either.....
All things holiday
I resolve not to do resolutions. I would break that resolution to resolve to plant more hellebores.
I'm on the "no resolutions" band wagon, but I do try to do an assessment of what needs work the most. It's always a long list. LOL
LOL and the list always gets longer!!!
Sonaroundthecorner arrived safely home from KY. I NEED grandy hugs. I'll have to wait til tomorrow. But, another son who was driving home from MA popped in for a potty break. So, I did get some grandy hugs from Hadley and Clara. They were great. He called and while he was talking, the girls knocked on the door. Quite cute! I thought they had already passed by on their way to MD. We'll see them on Saturday for our combined Christmas and a birthday.
Jan, your family seems to keep growing!
Hahaha. Well, we did have 2 new ones in 2011. We're at 9 grandies now. I keep telling them when we eventually sell this house, we'll just rotate monthly from son to son. That way we'll see them 3x a year and maybe not wear out our welcome. You know what they say about house guests and fresh fish. Thankfully we get along well with our DILs. Either that or they are putting up a good front. ;)
Well, Jeff goes back to school tomorrow. His holiday was spent mostly working on a syllabus, etc so he can get it approved as an AP course.
Oops. Sorry that there was more there than I knew!

Good grief!
there is a lot of "stuff" for sale on that site victor - how often do you shop there :)
Uh oh. Only posted it for the body paint. Should I delete?
Already did. Sorry!
any recommendations - dmail me:)
Finally got the tree out! Had 700 lights on it, not 600. The LEDs were a big hit with everyone, except the utility. ^_^
Way to go!
Whew didn't think you'd ever get it done!
Still have to box the decorations.
Decorations boxed! Tomorrow they get put away. I don't mind putting the decorations up, but HATE putting them away! Should hire someone. ^_^
Taking a break. Christmas decorations are almost all boxed up. It's wierd to be telling kids to write their college and scholarship applications today when other years our chant was to help us take the decorations down. One teacher thought he was doing a favor so kids could sleep when he made the English essay due at midnight tonight. Instead, they'll be up late writing supplements and new essays.
Kids have it tough today....much easier when I was in HS.....
As I was taking off the ornaments made a note the more ornaments you put on the tree seems 3X more when taking them off
Yes - absolutely.
Easter plans anyone??? I can't believe it's in 10 days....kids get the whole week of Easter off
Will be off to FL from Sat until next Thursday. No plans yet for Easter Sunday. Kids are off until the Tue afterward.
We are leaving on Good Friday for Texas for a week
Going to the farm.....hope they get their stove fixed....it's only 6 years old & the heating element went!
Our school holiday comes with Patriot's Day April 16 celebration and the full week off. We have a small family easter dinner because the kids only get good Friday off and have college admissions days to attend on Good Friday.
