Got the lights and garland on the tree. I LOVE the new LED lights. Big and bright. Changed garland from gold to silver with snow specks. Like it a lot. Will finish it tomorrow.
All things holiday
Let's get a photo of it!
Speaking of photos, I've just started a new thread of " Pictures of kids with Santa" here

Stop over, enjoy, and add your own!
Wow....what a lovely gesture! Hope some of that rubs off on my grandkids.....
My Meriden friend in her choir doing the Halleluja Chorus last month.

They looked spiffy...wish I had speakers so that I could hear them....that's my favorite musical piece this time of year!
The tree is up today. Have not started to decorate as yet as we have to replace a string of lights.
Same here. We'll need a few days to get to our outside lights, too, and then take them down after Epiphany.
My neighbor across the road put up blue lights on her steep wooden staircase....it actually looks eerie....sort of like an airport's landing strip.....
I'm not a fan of the blue lights but they seem to be getting popular. Our neighbors have all white except for one tree in blue and it looks funny.
DH and DD finished decorating the tree last night.
Never liked blue.
We decorate in all different colors, but around the Nativity Scene I prefer blue and silver.
My mom always liked blue, and I never did, but I do now. The trees in the yard are all blue, indoors, green and purple this year.
Just does not look Christmasy to me. Looks cold!
I think the blue & silver tree is a beauty....my ornaments are mostly birds & angels in any color....no theme....
I saw light aqua, silver and white ornaments in the store I thought were very pretty, so may do that color scheme some time.
Thanks for dissing my tree, Victor
Sorry!
Lol, no problem, to each his own
i love blue and silver - especially with a star on the helmet :)

Didn't know you were a Dallas fan! Colts here, but what a dismal year! Debi, I like the sound of that combo.....
Funny Bill
Nice Jen. I rotate colors or themes each year too.
i just add a few new ornaments each year - once you have it right why mess with it :)
Merry Christmas to all!!

Victor, thank you....what a lovely card....felt like I was in England!
thanks for the card!
Fantastic card, Victor. thank you.
I almost sent for a puppy yesterday....restrained myself just in time....however, looking into Cyrus' eyes....hard to resist....
Thank you.
Merry Christmas dear ones!
Thank you Victor!
Thank you, Victor. My grandson and I enjoyed this one together.
Thank you, Victor, and the same to you and everyone here! Wishing you all the very best!
Thanks for the e-card, Victor. I also got a moment to play the Messiah snippet from the Christmas choir. wonderfully done all around--the recording, the beautiful presentation and the timeless celebration of the music.
And Celeste, you are so blessed! I assume that must be your grandchild and daughter. What a memorable Christmas you must be having.
And to all, wishing a very Merry Christmas!
