That's very commendable Susan. I was driven like that at work, but not at home. Guess it's because I'm not getting paid? Lol!!

Sue, hope your daughter's making a step to try to clean her own apartment. You truly are stretching yourself thin, sistah.
Take your vitamins please. Be kind to yourself.

Not much to report, except that I napped for an hour. Imagine that? Thought I had enough sleep, but fell asleep at the keyboard!! At least I remember to feed my stomach!!

Have a good night's sleep sistahs. No telling what tomorrow may bring, but at least we know the sun will come up in the morning!

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

...and I will be a grandmother.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

A wonderful Grandmother Marion!

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

You mean again? Like for the 3rd time??? If so, congrats!!
Or are you adopting one of Kim's students??

I'll check back in the morning! Satisfied with Oregon's big lead over California, so I'm gonna do a horizontal.. like BJ would say.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Marion, your going to be a Grandma again? Congrats!
My son's girlfriend is due in March! She is going to have a boy!

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Can't stand the suspense!!! Got to check back!!

Congrats LK!!! Wowie.. you'll be looking for boy prints for sure!

Congrats Marion!!! Congrats to Charles and his DW!!! Happy for your grandaughters, Marion!!
Congrats Auntie Kim!!
Yayyyy.... may mama remains healthy for this new miracle!

LK, looks like we will all be grandaunts via the net!!

Really going to bed now.. smiling!

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Yep, already looking at blue for baby clothes. Heather has lost 2 babies in the past year, and the Dr. told her to take it easy and when she found out she was pregnant this time, Dr. put her on bed rest for the first 3 months. She went to the Dr. last week, and had her ultra sound. Dr. said she is now about 15 - 16 weeks, and the little boy is healthy. ^_^ So we are all excited, and they are busy trying to pick out a name for him.

Morning everyone! Coffee is ready, and fresh banana bread is ready!

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

I slept fantastically last night. How is it possible to so excited for #3 as if it was the first....let the journey begin!

I must tell you Catie-Beth's comment. At first she got really mad and Charles and Michelle were concerned; finally Michelle said "Catie-Beth I thought you wanted a new baby". Reply: "Yes, but parents aren't suppose to lie to their kids!" She thought they were teasing her---poor kid. The next morning she ran into their room and first question was are we really having a baby? She is now planning to decorate the new nursery......stickers and Jonas Brothers posters!! That's my Catie-Beth!

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

ROFL!!!! Jonas Brothers!!!! OMG!! At least it's not Lady Gaga!!
Dear dear CB, she does provide free entertaiment to the Sproul family!!
Well, she's right, parents aren't supposed to lie, fib maybe, but lie is baaad :D
She'd be the first one to grab baby's clothes off the rack, and something tells me she wants a brother ;)
Definitely got to put the new miracle on our prayer list, Marion.

LK, isn't that another miracle!! Prayers work, and He answers in His time. Guess He thinks that it's time for Heather ^_^
PTL!
It's been a long time since I had banana bread, more than 2 years and it was something that Stacey had made. Don't remember whether she had mailed some to me, or brought that to BJ's. Thanks LK!

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Marion, it could be worse, it could be Justin Bieber!

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

Wow - babies due next year!! March is a good month to be born, I should know - my DH & I are both March babies lol
I'm sure CB is happy to have a baby to care for and love :-)

LK - so glad that Heather's baby is healthy this time! I remember last year (or was it the year before? darn CRS!) when she lost her last one - such a tragedy for one so young...... Now it's Good News, indeed - PTL!

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Heather lost one in December of last year, and one in March of this year. We are all praying all is healthy this time!

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Nope, no boys, they are stinky and destroy things! Grandma is hoping for a boy but will be happy whatever.

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

gosh, poor Heather - I just Know she'll take good care of herself this time, and all the family will too, of course!!

gues who cleaned her apt !! yep she sure did. wow is all i can say. she done good.
still doing cider
LK sending many many happy thoughts for that baby and mom.
things are going fine here at a home

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Went to the movies this afternoon and saw "The Help". I highly recommend it if you haven't seen it. It ran the full range from sad, happy, funny, serious and honestly so typical of the south in the late 50s and 60s.

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

WOW, Sue! So good that she not only cleaned her apt, but that she did a good job!

Marion - I'll have to look that one up, for sure! The Help has a great preview on TV.......

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

I don't think it has been released on home DVDs yet Susan but well worth getting/renting when it does come out.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

That's a great beginning, Sue. Your jaw must have dropped! May she continue to take pride in her apartment and her personal hygiene.
Give Ric and Robyn hugs for us please.

Thanks Marion. That's one movie I'd love to see. Have you ever seen Michelle Pfeiffer's 1992 "Love Fields" with Dennis Haysbert? It's a pretty good movie, didn't get much rave reviews but worth your time to borrow from Netflix.
We don't do movies anymore ever since his dad's stroke. Can't spend more than 3 hours at the beach, and it's an hour's drive there :(
Thank God for Netflix!

Susan, I've been watching old Morgan Freeman movies!! Watched "Along came a Spider", "Kiss the Girls" and and later tonight, after the games, it will be "Double Jeopardy".

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

I love Morgan Freeman!! Jaye, usually we wait until the come on DVD or the dollar movies (with the exception of the kids movies) but both of us really wanted to see if it lived up to what everyone was saying. It does and more!!!

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

I know it's not on DVD yet, Marion - I see the TV previews of the movie and it looks good.
Jaye - I agree - Morgan Freeman is fabulous!
Bob & I are going out to the Community Club pub (only on Fridays, from 7pm to 1am but we don't stay that late, and give a ride home to a friend who's 77).
chat atcha later!

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Good morning sistahs!

Coffee is on, do enjoy some cheesecake with your coffee.
It's gonna be one terrific Saturday. Good fb games going on.

Crissy, hope your team wins today.

Gonna be an easy game for 'Bama. Sis Kathy doesn't have anything to worry about.

Ooops.. better quit before I bore more sistahs!!

Sue, I know you're looking forward to some adult company. The good ones!

Enjoy your day sistahs!

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Oh what a day! Breezy, cool and football on the tube--what more could one ask for? Well, I could answer that but think it best not......................

Have a great day all.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

The Shawshank Redemption with Morgan Freeman is another excellent movie!

Morning everyone! Thanks for the coffee and cheesecake!

Sue, so glad to hear your daughter cleaned her place!

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Pray tell Marion!! Yes, it be a good day for Kel to bring in the rest of the tropicals!!

LK, Shawshank is my #1 favorite.

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

Hi Ladies!! Hope you['re having a terrific day!

My plans for our anniversary are to have Thanksgiving Dinner here - our anniversary is the same day lol
I got a lovely surprise last night! Our friend/music teacher, Nami, is home from Japan (where she's from - moved to Calgary from there 4 years ago)!!!! so naturally I invited her for Thanksgiving! She asked if she could bring a friend. I had to hem & haw about that, because we're already, with her, having 10 people! This is a small single width trailer after all, but I said to her "the more the merrier"! I mean that, sincerrely! I am going to have to get another table though, cuz our round table only has 1 leaf and we need more space LOL
Our table, when it's open, butts up against the loveseat, so I'm going to put the loveseat on the other side of the living room which means I have to move other stuff from there. Now it's situated to view the TV but we won't be doing that on Monday, and in the meantime I can cuddle with Bob on the couch! :-)

Today I went to the church to continue cataloguing the library books - a friend is on the committee to check appropirateness, and she called out the names while I wrote the author & title, and later (after Monday) I will add them in Excel and create Dewey Decimal catagories and labels for them (much later - will take 2 months to get it all done - at least a few hundred, and they've got to be put in order and labels made. We're only doing this when we can, so about 4 hours/week.

Well, going to go clean out the fridge today, and will have Refrigerator Dinner tonight lol Gotta make room for dinner for 10, and then leftovers afterwards! I told Bob about our plans for tonight and he didn't look like he thought I could do a tasty dinner that way LOL We shall see...

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Sounds like your going to have a house full for your anniversary - Thanksgiving dinner!

Good morning!
It's a new day, start to a new week, wishing this week goes very well for you sistahs.

Susan, did you take pictures? Bet the food went very well, doubt you'd have leftovers. Just having good company to celebrate it with, makes your anniversary very memorable. Did you and Bob perform a duet?

Sue, the weekend must be a good day for whatever you need Ric's help for.

Crissy, as usual the Hogs did good as they get into more games. That's what happened last year. Next year, they just got to start winning the first game.

Did go to church yesterday, and it was Homecoming. This time, the spread was all too salty, except for the desserts. Serious. There were too many leftovers but at least the church folks are wise not to aggravate their blood pressure.
I didn't bring any as I was told there'd be more than enough to feed 100, moreover having missed church for more than 2 months, they felt I didn't have to.
When we got home, it's thanking God for frozen dinners!

Coffee is ready.. something light on everyone's stomaches this morning.. buttered wheat toasts and slices of bananas heated up in microwave, served with maple syrup.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Morning Jaye! Thanks for the coffee!

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Morning, ummm good coffee. We are going to have another rainy, windy day but not complaining. Will continue working on my designated project for the day.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

It's drizzling here and temps are in the low 80s. Perfect day for me as I truly don't feel like bringing in the rest of the potted plants.
LK, are you getting any rain?
So.. what are you working on Marion? Shelves for your dungeon?

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

I will take pictures - dinner is tonight, cuz it's also our 13th anniversary and Thanksgiving Day :-)

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

I am trying very hard to get caught up on my swap items and sorting through my tubs of fabric. More of the downsizing process--free up space and give some of the fabric a trip to other places. Wouldn't be fair of me to let them live in a tub when there is a whole world of exciting places to go that have scissors and needles in hand.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Jaye, it has been raining off and on for the last 2 days, nice cool soaking rain! Only 67 right now! ^_^

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

lol Marion - that's the way someone who's given me quilt fabric (from Texas) felt, and now I have all this fabric - keep saying I will worrk on it "when the next event is over" like church Fall Supper, Thanksgiving, etc etc. Next it will be Christmas, f'pete's sake!
and now I'm in quilt block groups so who knows when I will lessen my "stash". I am going to lessen it by reds and whites for the RW (or RWB swap) group of 7 or so. So there's 7 blocks of red white fabric to lessen it by lol

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

yaaaaaaaaay LK - you're getting the gentle soaking rain I prayed for, for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!
