We're in Gettysburg, PA now, and it'sraining cats and dogs!

Happy to report, Lucy, that the girls are being terrific. Carli is actually holding Bailey with her front legs surrounding her little sister. It's the sweetest thing to see. She really tries to protect Bailey from the big trucks, and now she's nodding off. LOL

We have 3 more hours of rainy driving, and then it should be smooth sailing.

A few nights of frost then a few 80° days is breaking havoc on my pumpkins. So many rotten ones! :( do horses like to eat pumpkins? I know The pigs will love these.

On our farm, our cattle, goats, pigs, chickens and turkeys all love pumpkins. Deer love pumpkins too! Many years ago the Native Americans used pumpkins as a source of feed for their horses.

Also, my friend has a cat w/bowel problems and the vet told him to mix 2 tab. of pumpkin into her food to help with fiber. LOL

Wow....good to know, Pixie! Showered most of this afternoon....heavier rain later tonight....don't like the sound of Friday's weather....ruining my plans.

Light rain. 56. Rain today and tomorrow.

It rained all evening and last night, currently partly cloudy with a 40% chance of rain all day. I still have a couple plants I dug up but haven't replanted yet.

Still drizzly................... a little warmer high of 68°

Well, I know this will come as a shock but our weather forecast for today was WRONG. They were calling for rain, but the sun is shining brightly. Good thing, as the roofing crew is here starting the roofing project today. Full tear-off, new gutters, and then a 12 foot by 24 foot extension over the back patio plus 8 new replacement windows and a new front entry door and new matching storm door. We are excited and thankful that the weather is cooperating. ☺

Lightning flashes woke me around 3 am. Intermittent heavy rain has been happening ever since. 65 degrees and heavy rain.

we had some heavy rain over night as well.. sounded like there might have been hail or something ... was really loud supposed to have more thunderstorms today.. high wind tomorrow.. not going to be easy to finish these decorations

Currently 62 degrees and cloudy in WNY. It rained in the night, but not now allowing the roofing crew to continue. The rain is coming, though, and they are trying to get the roof done before that happens.
