I forgot about the breed name, I was thinking of something to do with the weather. Well, Nanook of the north. A kid would think of Snowball (and I guess I really am one).

OMG is he gorgeous, Celeste! Very elegant dog! I'm liking Thor, but the god, Thor, was a real meany, and he looks so sweet! LOL. Husker? Your Highness (kidding), Rex (means King and he looks so regal!), Zeus? Hunk? He is all of the above! :). He's also one lucky pup to land in your house,so Lucky is another thought!

Yukon King (king for short) & I bet most of you didn't listen to the radio program (no TV) as yet. He was owned by a Mountie so there is that name also. He belong to Sargeant Preston. Sarge?

Oh, Pixie, what a beautiful pup! Be sure he gets a lot of socialization, take him everywhere & let folks pet him & hold him. He looks like Milo to me.

Thank you all for the wonderful suggestions! We have come up w/a name, or I should say he came to it. LOL HIs name is Siris, Cyrus, Syrus, depending on how you want to spell it. DH hasn't decided on how to spell it but the dog has decided thats his name. ^_^

We were reading a list of names and came to that one and the puppy raised it's head.

Ahh. That will work! Was trying to think of a name that was 'polar bear-ish', as they have that coloring.

its a male puppy, Oh boy not a she.

Cyrus works! He'll either be Si or Russ for short, I would guess.

Sirius is the 'dog star'.

Oh, if it's Sirius, then he's Sirius White, not quite as in Harry Potter.

I like Cyrus...he's a smart dog for picking out his own name!

Mr G a Pitbull is becoming more agressive since he lost his sister. He is running to the point where he runs faster then his legs will buckle and then he feels his pain. He is still a young man or a puppy. What I see is, he is lonley. Mom is with him 24/7 but Xena gave him more than I can.

I miss her and I am gonna cry again. crap

Oh, Sherrie, I'm so sorry that you are both hurting so much. Grief stinks! Time for a new buddy for Mr G? Poor baby. :(. I'm sending hugs to you both as well!

Sherrie, I still miss my Robs terribly, & so does Suey....I know just how you feel.....maybe in the spring a new pup for both of us.....
