So sorry Sherrie. We have a high energy dog, and another one just like her might be just what she needs. Maybe you'll find one at a rescue place. Thinking of you.

Sherrie - you could foster for a rescue group and they would pay all expenses for the dog while they stayed with you.
Sampson is in the vet hospital and he has had his injection. I can watch him with web cameras 24 hours a day. He is sitting in his litter box watching the gerbils.
I bet that the gerbils are nervously watching him as well.
They are in an aquarium two feet away from the glass doors of the cat "condos". So they are safe. I asked, this group has been there a year - I guess there isn't much in the way of radiation leaks from the cats themselves. :)
Good luck to you and Sampson Yank.
Sherrie, I'm so sorry for your loss....I'm still mourning Robs, it's just so hard to lose them. If you truly want a 60 pound, high energy dog, Google New England Airedale Rescue ....they are here in CT, but place airedales all over New England....dales don't shed, they have to be clipped, but they are smart, clowninsh, fresh, brick-headed, stubborn dogs, & I miss mine terribly.....Memory, hoping Samson is doing well!
So cool to be able to watch Sampson, Memory! Sending you and Sampson prayers for his recovery, as well as hugs! I also continue thinking about Sherrie and Marilyn, and all of those missing their beloved pets. We still miss our Molly terribly, and know that others feel just as we do about our fur kids. How blessed we all have been to find such wonderful companions to fill our lives and our hearts!
Victor, just another example of bureaucratic bungling....Louise, you are so right...it hurts terribly when they are gone, but I will always have a dog.....they are such empathetic creatures.
Sampson is home from the Spa and sitting in my lap. I couldn't use the webcams in his "condo" from work so friends on Facebook and on the HyperT support group watched and reported back to me. He had to be fed by hand the first two days - and they did that for him. One day he got to play with a gerbil in a ball - a real gerbil! (Poor gerbil.) He came right in the house and left his calling card in three cat boxes - just to let everyone else know who is boss! In three months we will take blood and see where his thyroid level is and how his liver and kidneys are doing.
Wow...poor Sampson...he went through a lot, but i bet the gerbil perked him up!
Speedy recovery!
Wishing him well! Glad he's back home. You are a great Mom, Memory!
They asked me if I wanted a gerbil to take home. LOL!
The cats are nodding "yes".....someone brought the cutest pit puppy into the gas station today.....black & white & wriggly all over.....I miss not having a pup.....maybe in the spring....
No Richard Gere jokes!
About?
???
Not DG appropriate. Just google his name with gerbil.
Quite surprised no one got it. This story was prevalent in the 80 's.
I got it - but ignored it.
Just too stinkin' CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Beauty! Like the cinnamon color. How about Cinammon?
Kuna (it means big flower) but I just like the name
he is such a cutie!!!
I just wanna squeeze him!!!!!!!!
He is so soft and fluffy Jen, he reminds alot of my Bandit. I really didn't want a puppy....but im smitten!!! ^_^
How could you not be???
I don't want to ever do that puppy stage again
I love puppy stage!!
We had a cat the same color and I named him Casper.
Cinny would be easy to say.
Chino, as in cappuccino!
We had a similar colored dog, named Jasper.
That name has come up too. :)
He's a sweet sugar bun! but I wouln't make that his real name. Is every dog in the north named Chinook?
Nope but I have a Chinook named Jake. :)
